Being forced to share a bed au's

(OTP that’s not yet together/haven’t acknowledged their feelings for each other)

- building a wall of pillows between them
- they still wake up tangled in each other anyway
- person A calms person B down when they wake up gasping
- person A soothing them by stroking their hair and forehead till they fall asleep in their arms
- person A keeps snoring and person B kicks them every time
- person A hogs all the covers and person B’s solution is to spoon them
- the two of them smelling of each other when they wake up
- the pair acting like the intimacy they shared at night never happened the next day

“When I look around, I see that everyone’s the protagonist of their own story. And the thing about stories is that not all of them have a happy ending. But some do.”

“The truth is, our job isn’t always great. Sometimes, it sucks. But it sucks a little less when I get to do it with you.”

THIS SCENE THOUGH.

They both handled this situation in such a reasonable and healthy way.
She didn’t get furious or defensive and come at him with anger for hiding that information on his father.

He was apologetic and honest, admitting to his mistake.

She was compassionate and understanding, giving him encouragement and affirming how much he means to her – that she fully wants to invest in this relationship and expects him to as well.

They both agree on wanting an honest and authentic relationship with each other AND THEN SHE GOES TO THE TRAILER TO SEE HIS DAD – formally meet him and witnessing his criminal and slovenly existence.

Once they leave the trailer after Jughead faced perhaps his greatest fear in his future with Betty; her finally seeing full well what he came from and the actual state of his father, scared of if it will change her feelings for him.

And her response when he faces her, full of insecurity?

I mean, LOOK AT BOTH OF THEIR FACES WHEN SHE SAYS IT.

She is so supportive and loving and he is utterly moved. She’s just completely lifting him up and giving him the kind of stability and self-confidence he has probably been looking for since he was little. And he has been that very same rock for her throughout this ordeal with Polly and her parents.

My heart is so full.

Such a beautiful, honest and healthy depiction of love that’s got me shook to my core.

Give me Harry and Draco in the eighth year common room making eyes at each other.

Harry sitting near the fire while Ron and Hermione bicker over school work. Draco across the room, alone at a table pretending to read an advanced potions textbook while actually just staring at the same three words over and over again between not so subtle glances over at Harry.

Harry bored of listening to Ron and Hermione’s not so subtle flirting and secretly wishing he could flirt and bicker openly with his boyfriend.

Harry casually glancing in the direction of said boyfriend who is looking back at him and whose eyebrows raise and lower suggestively, yet so quickly anybody would have missed it except for Harry who knows it so well. Who knows exactly what it means.

Draco snapping his book shut and casually making his way up to his dorm. Lying down on his bed with his head propped on two pillows and opening up his textbook again and actually reading it this time. At ease knowing his boyfriend will be with him soon.

Harry entering Draco’s room a few minutes after watching him leave the common room.

Draco locking and silencing the room without a word.

Harry sitting down on the bed and leaning over Draco to give him a light peck on the lips. Turning away to take off his shoes before settling down next to his boyfriend, their shoulders pressed together and one of Harry’s legs resting on top of Draco’s, before picking up a Quidditch magazine from Draco’s nightstand and starting to read.

Give me Draco and Harry just wanting to hang out with each other.
