sweaty selfie

Since I didn’t workout today (sssssshhhhhhhhh 🙈🙈🙈🤐🤐) and I saw a few people post some progress pics I thought it would be fun to do the same.
My very first sweaty selfie compared to my latest sweaty selfie. There are 30ish pounds and just over 7 months between these pics. I know some people might say it’s angles, or lighting, or makeup, that makes the difference, but no. When I smile now, my cheeks don’t move my glasses because they are not already pressed against them. My face has slimmed down whether you notice or not.
But who cares cause I’m killing it in both pics anyways 💁🏻💁🏻

Gonna be honest, I’ve been feeling down for the last little bit and I’m not gonna lie, it’s because of my weight. It’s stupid, but I feel like I haven’t made any progress since April and I’m scared that my weight is gonna slowly climb back up there (even though I lost two pounds this week.)
Please send me all of your self love tips 💕

Yup you read that correctly 💪 it was just getting way to busy going right after work at 5 so I decided to haul my ass out of bed and get to the gym by 6am 😴 and while it wasn’t as busy as 5pm, there’s was enough people using the machines I wanted that I ventured into the free weight area hand got lots of confused looks 😅 I have noticed there aren’t many girls using the free weights so I think the guys were just a little shocked 😏 needless to say, I think I’ll be going in the AM more often

Getting real with today’s sweaty selfie because I decided to workout without a shirt since I get too hot 😵It was so liberating!! 💃🏻Plus it was leg day today and I felt like showing off my legs 💁 yes I have stretch marks and rolls, no I don’t love them even though I’ll probably always have stretch marks. But I love myself, and I love what my mind and body have been accomplishing in the past month 💪

So I’ve noticed that I have a few new followers… so I thought I compare one of my recent photos with a photo from the past! 

The pic on the left was taken on November 11th, 2016.  The pic on the right was taken on January 24th, 2018.  I know there isn’t too much difference, but I am proud of the work that I have done so far! I’m not giving up, and neither should you! Let’s keep going and help each other reach our fitness goals! :D

But first, I wanna thank everybody for their kind words yesterday 😊 you guys have no idea how much it means to me 💕💕
I did not want to workout again today. I don’t know, my motivation is low again 😒 but if I quit, the only person I’m quitting on is myself, and I love myself too much to do that 🙈

Omg guys!!! I did it! My first 5K ever!!!
I was able to run the entire thing without stopping! So I’m feeling really proud of myself 😁
I didn’t expect to finish the face in 35 minutes… can’t wait to see my time on the next 5K!
Also call me extra, but I made a Spotify playlist just for this race lol Paramore, Fall Out Boy , and Janelle Monae kept me going! 😂

2018/08/21 : Fit At Last: W1D2

Back / Butt / Biceps

A fellow fitblr @soliddreamsblog created a workout routine  (not including meal plan) just for me that I will be following for the next 8 weeks, gymming 3x a week.

Breakfast: *Womelette with a little syrup and an apple

Lunch: *Ribs and sweet potato

Snack: Carrots, cucumber, snap peas with garlic hummus, an apple

Pre-Workout: Black coffee stirred with 2 tsp of syrup

My gym routine: Abs > Run > Stretch > Workout > Stretch

Post Workout: 20g Protein bar

My plank goal for today was 4m1s and I planked for 5m31s !  I accidentally left my earbuds in the vehicle so I was extra social at the gym today, ask a girl stretching next to me if I was straight (plank) and she was so awesome about it “Can I touch you?” she says.  So helpful ! Gotta have good form to get the best out of the exercise !

Y’ALL !!  I BEAT MY 5K PR AGAIN !! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP !!!!  It was 30m30s but today I ran 5K in 30m11s ! I am so freakin proud of myself !!

Another at home sweaty selfie because people were actually using the equipment in front of the gym mirrors today 😒 but ya girl crushed her abs this morning and did 15 mins of cardio 💪 pro tip to getting your sweat on - wear a sweater 😅 I was dying! But I hate leaving the gym without sweating, since sweat is fat crying 😏
