Forget what you know about those so-called
evil stepsisters! These fierce ladies are wholly misunderstood and deserve some
extra credit. They’re strong, ruthless and a force to be reckoned with—what’s
not to love about that? We have a lineup of not-so-evil stepsisters from
amazing YA books that will rock your world! Breaking the mold isn’t for the
faint of heart!
For India Maxwell, Boston has
none of the sunny-California vibe she’s used to, especially since she’s at the
bottom of the social ladder. Her stepsister, Eloise, doesn’t give her much of a
helping hand, but behind that cool facade there’s a tender side and a huge
secret. #besties or #frenemies?
Emma’s life is turned upside down
when her new stepsister, Quinn, moves in with them. Quinn is a vicious mean
girl. But when she tragically dies, Emma begins to realize there was more to
her than anyone realized.

Sparking Reflection and Increasing Zika Awareness with @maususin1
To see more of his photography, follow @maususin1 on Instagram.
(This interview was conducted in Portuguese.)
Mauricio Susin (@maususin1) has his #EyesOn Zika. With his camera, the Brazilian photojournalist is increasing awareness about the mosquito outbreaks in his hometown of Salvador. For Mauricio, documenting victims hits especially close to home. “I am a part of these stories, as I caught Zika last year and really felt the stress of there not being any vaccines, treatments or knowledge about the consequences of the illness,” he says. Mauricio recalls the anxiety he felt, and now captures the same emotion in his subjects: “I hope these photographs capture Brazil’s fight against Zika and help spark reflection around the challenges we face as a country of the future.”
• masked vigilante Ladybug breaks into the Agreste Tower after stealing some coveted Miraculous Stones
• Hawkmoth keeps Adrien locked away because for some reason that kwami won’t accept him and it also /won’t leave Adrien/ so if he can’t have it no one can (also magic hair obvs)
• Adrien going into town wearing a black mask, as to not somehow reveal himself (ladybug opts out of hers so she doesn’t get arrested)
• *ladybug sighing* “my real name is Marinette”
• in this, it’s Mari who saves Adrien’s life after Hawkmoth tries to kill him. as she cries over his body her miraculous stones activate, and thus, Lucky Charm bc why not
• Adrien is happily reunited w his parents , Gabriel and Susin, while Ladybug is pardoned (bc he’s the prince ofc he can pardon ppl)
and after they’re married they go out and save Corona from evil occasionally
