If you want to write, if you want to create, you must be the most sublime fool that God ever turned out and sent rambling. You must write every single day of your life. You must read dreadful dumb books and glorious books, and let them wrestle in beautiful fights inside your head, vulgar one moment, brilliant the next…I wish you a wrestling match with your creative muse that will last a lifetime… May you live with hysteria, and out of it make fine stories — science fiction or otherwise. Which finally means, may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.

Stout Restaraunt in NYC. 133 West 33rd Street  New York, NY 10003 (212) 629-6191

I grabbed lunch here on St. Patrick’s Day. The sea of green revelers, the overflowing Guinness, the atmosphere, our sweet waitress - it all seemed promising.  Unfortunately, the food I ordered left much to be desired. Stout has received some great reviews, and while the rest of their food may be terrific, I’d stay away from their chicken burger. It sounded great; what couldn’t taste good topped with guac? Stout’s chicken burger, apparently. It ended up being really bland (even after numerous dips in ketchup and hot sauce). So not worth it for $12.
