A VERY prolonged sequence at the climax of the films takes place surrounded by flashing lights, the screen spinning etc.

My epilepsy isn’t usually triggered directly by flashing lights but even so I had to close my eyes as this went on for like five minutes and I was genuinely worried

I haven’t seen ANY warnings about this and would NOT have gone without a friend if I’d known, I’m literally typing this on my phone outside the cinema and I’m genuinely worried to walk home on my own in case one comes on.

I can see people’s auras… and it’s a curse.

Yes, I can see people’s auras.

And I hate saying it so bluntly. It makes me sound like some hack psychic who fakes the ability as a means of exploitation and a paycheck. I’ve never made money from my ability. I’ve never taken advantage of it. And, until now, I’ve never spoken of it to anybody.

But I really do see them, and I’m starting to view it as more of a curse. I have a reason for typing this out and I assure you, there isn’t a happy ending.

All About Auras

An aura could best be described as the energy given off by someone or something. Supposedly, everything has an aura, even an apple. Many people are able to either see or ‘sense’ auras, which may appear as a haze of light or colour surrounding something.

The colour an aura appears can have many correspondences, which can relate to someone’s mood or spirituality, or can be because of external factors such as light intensity. It’s even said to be possible to tell if someone is pregnant from the way their aura appears.

Common misconceptions about auras:

  • It is always the same colour.  - This is untrue, as auras tend to change colour when affected by many different factors. However one colour may be dominant.
  • It is always the same shape and texture.  - Nope, they could appear hazy, smooth, or spiky. Some could have auras spanning an inch from their bodies, but others could have auras reaching out to a metre.
  • There is scientific evidence for auras.  - Again, untrue. Despite many people being able to see auras, there is no way to measure them or comprehend why it is even there.
  • Your aura is a shield.  - Whilst it’s possible to utilise your energy to shield yourself from things through visualisation, your aura alone is by no means a barrier against spirits and vampire-like entities looking to ‘feed off’ your energy. Learn how to ward yourself.
  • There is only one colour at a time.  - Your visible aura can actually be a mix of colours. However, there are also seven different extents of your aura, ranging from physical to spiritual, which could all be a different colour at one time.
  • It is especially important to note that auras are constantly changing. This could be seen as Anicca, or impermanence, in which the Buddha taught that nothing is permanent and everything is constantly changing. The aura reflects this truth in ourselves and those around us.


Seeing Your Aura

Some people are able to see auras with ease without a whole lot of practice, whereas others might never be able to comprehend the aura. It is common for many witches to practice with seeing their aura.

Here is a simple exercise which will help you to begin seeing your aura. This is what I tend to get people to do often when starting with auras. If inexperienced, it is important to practice often in order to get better!

  1. You may want to begin by meditating or casting a circle in order to have a better focus on your aura. Make sure you are calm and in the mindset to concentrate.
  2. Find a blank area, such as a white wall or a sheet of paper, and hold your hand out to it. It is important that you don’t get distracted by the colour of the wall or anything on it.
  3. Rather than focusing directly onto your hand, shift your gaze to look just past it. For instance just past your fingers, but not the space directly between your fingers.
  4. Focus on this space. To avoid distracting yourself, practice steady breathing as you would in meditation.
  5. Eventually, you should begin to see a haze of light surrounding your hand. At first it may appear small and even colourless, but keep practicing and you will start to see it even better.


Colour Correspondences

The colour of an aura can have many connotations, and can be dictated by thr shape and texture too. But here is a guide to help you with the typical deciption of simple aura colours.

RED -

Centred/grounded, passion, anger, energetic.

ORANGE -

Power, confidence, outgoing, good health.

YELLOW - 

Spiritual awakening/awareness, playful, happiness.

GREEN -

Healing, good communication, jealousy.

BLUE -

Intuition, calm, clairvoyance, honesty, fear of the future.

PURPLE -

Daydreaming, spirituality, artistic, psychic abilities.

WHITE -

Newness, purity, reaching enlightenment, angelic.

BLACK -

Negative feelings, blocked energy, potential illness.

BROWN -

Grounded, tied to the outdoors, afraid to let go.

PINK -

Loving, sensual, psychic gifts, dishonesty.

SILVER -

Physical and spiritual wealth, awakening of higher thought.

GOLD -

Enlightenment, protection from divine entities, guidance.

RAINBOW -

A rainbow aura can indicate a healer, a new soul, or reaching enlightenment.

I was born a natural born empath as was my mom. When you tell people what it is, they often first talk about how cool it is and how you could see if someone likes you or how you can tell if someone is lying to you. However, those points are not necessarily true and being an empath can truly be a double-edged sword. Us empaths are often over-sensitive to certain stimuli and it can be 100% confusing. Growing up, I wish I had known some methods to help.

So here are some tips for Empaths:

  • Avoid crowds when possible. Tons of people and their influx of emotions will surge your senses.
  • Look up movie summaries (if you are okay with potential spoilers) before going to see any to know if there is any tragedy or gore.
  • Use x-kit’s blacklist function if news of tragedy that circulates through tumblr becomes too much.
  • Mindless games are a great distraction and way to occupy your mind over something else
  • Meditation helps with sorting out which emotions are yours and which are not.
  • Try this grounding ritual: Visualize a light surrounding you. It’s keeping you in and everything out but comfortable. Then imagine roots coming out of you. Imagine them going into the ground and holding place. Feel how strong the roots are with holding you to the ground. No wind or force can easily push you over.
  • Learn how to block out emotions. I imagine a bubble around me when I go out. Everyone has different methods.
  • Keep a journal or at least write somewhere to help you sort things out or to reference to later
  • REMEMBER: IT IS NOT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY\YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO HELP EVERYONE. IT IS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE and can be detrimental to your health
cleansing crystals

full moon: on the night of a full moon, leave your crystals outside to soak up the moonlight, the crystals will still receive the energy even if it’s cloudy or raining! (but make sure the crystals can safely be in contact with water!!)

sunlight: leave your crystals out to bathe in the sun for a few hours (Amegreen, Amethyst, Ametrine,  Aquamarine,  Celestite, Citrine, Fluorite,  Kunzite, Opal,Rose Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Spirit Quartz, Super Seven, Topaz, and Turquoise should not be left out in the sun!!)

sage/incense: waft the smoke over the crystals, or hold the crystals in the smoke, let the smoke reach every side of the crystal

water: let your crystals soak in a nice cool water bath, or place them under running water, visualise the water cleaning out any negative energy (Calcite, Desert Rose, Halite, Hematite, Lodestone, Malachite, Satin Spar, and Selenite should not be placed in water!!)

earth: bury your crystals in the soil for a few hours and the earth will soak up negative energies (again, be cautious about rain!)

sound: place your crystals in front of speakers and play your favourite music!! the vibrations from sound waves will pass through the crystals and reset their vibrations to their original state

flower petals: bury your crystals in a bowl of flower petals, choose a flower that has extra healing properties to help your crystals

visualisation: hold your crystal in your hand and envision a white light surrounding it, then see a white beam pass through the crystal, taking the negative energy away

earth signs: faes on the ends of flowers, exhaling aloe vera, diligently preparing the morning mist 

fire signs: girls wrapped in exploding fairy lights, surrounded with glowing embers

water signs: girls with mirage legs, when they turn in a certain light there are scales and tails instead of feet

air signs: girls with tangled clouds in their hair getting carried into the air by rainbow balloons 

10 WAYS TO HELP AUTISTIC PEOPLE [BY AN AUTISTIC PERSON]:
  1. Be aware of your surroundings. Bright lights and too much noise are hell for autistic people. Is there anywhere quiet or dim that you could take them to if they got stressed? Is there a way to lessen the noise and/or brightness?
  2. Don’t tell us to “stop acting weird”. Chewing on things, flapping our hands, rocking on our feet, and so on are all natural, healthy behaviours that help us to process emotion and sensory input. Telling us not to do them is akin to telling an allistic (non-autistic) person to stop smiling.
  3. Most autistic people are happy as we are. Some would rather not be autistic, it’s true, but most of us just want to be ourselves without shame or stigma. It’s generally bad manners to talk to us about a “cure” or “treatments” for who we are.
  4. Non-verbal communication – vocal sounds, text or written communication, sign language, etc – are all valid forms of communication which we sometimes have to use. (Or always have to use, in some cases.) Sometimes, we have to text the person sitting next to us because we can’t talk. Please don’t try to make us use our voices when we’d rather not!
  5. Research autistic groups before supporting them. What do actual autistic people say about this group? We like self-advocacy groups, we don’t like allistic people trying to talk for us. Not every group that claims to help autistic people is actually our friend!
  6. Special interests – things which autistic people fixate on and obsess over – are healthy and important. Don’t make fun of us for getting really into things, even if they’re “childish” things like Minecraft or Pokémon. It’s incredibly hurtful when someone we like just dismisses our interests without a second thought.
  7. When an autistic person is having a meltdown or shutdown, listen to them! Don’t fuss over them or get up in their face. Just listen to what they want you to do to help them, if anything. Let them write or text it, if they have to, and keep your voice down!
  8. We don’t process the world the same way you do. Sometimes things which seem obvious to you require explanation before we’ll understand them. Sometimes an explanation you understand will be one that makes no sense to us. Please be patient. We’re not being difficult on purpose! We want to understand, we really do.
  9. Be understanding when we say we can’t do something. Our energy gets used up a lot quicker than yours. Often we’d really like to do something, but we just can’t, and it can be difficult for us to explain that. Don’t guilt trip us for not going out or whatever – we already feel really bad about it!
  10. Listen to our boundaries. If we don’t want to be touched, don’t touch us. If we want you to leave our possessions alone, leave them alone. If we aren’t up to talking, don’t try to make us talk. We need boundaries a lot more than you do, so please try to respect them. It’s common courtesy!

New Moon

It’s a time for new begginings, cleanse your soul, altar, life, whatever may be holding grudges or negative energy. Gather your thoughts and plan for this cycle.

Waxing Cresent Moon

This is the time i would normally set intentions for this cycle, what are my next months plans? what am I planning on doing with school/work/events ect. Set daily goals and desires.

First Quarter Moon

Take action, don’t fall back in school work, keep up the excercise routine, when facing obsticles, don’t give in. Use all your will power and strength to push through tough times.

Waxing Gibbous Moon

Observe the earth, your surroundings. Take walks, go swimming, light some candles, do some gardening, dry some flowers, go for hikes. This is a time to connect back with nature and align yourself.

Full Moon

A time to put plans into action, accomplish what you can, keep goals within reach but push yourself to do better. Harvest intentions and wishes of previous moons.

Waning Gibbous Moon

Be grateful, reflect and extend. Be grateful you have made it this far in your journey, reflect on your goals, what have you achieved? Extend in your learning and goals.

Third Quarter Moon

Release and let go, let go of negative emotions, stop holding grudges and release happy emotions, positive energies. This means stop hating your friend because they didnt invite you to something, tell them you forgive them is they are sorry, and dont hold it against them.

Waning Cresent Moon

Surrender, this is a time of rest and recouperation. Sleep as often as possible, don’t do too much physical activity. Don’t push yourself, just calm down and rest.

What’s an aura, anyways?

The term aura refers to an individual’s subtle energetic emanations. Auras aren’t visible to everyone, but plenty of people see them. They appear as a sphere of light or color around the body. 

The color, size, brightness, and other features of the aura depend on the nature of the person it belongs to. These things can vary based on mood. They can also relate to metabolic factors, magical activity, and many other things.

Many New Age writers say that the aura is energy in the scientific sense. This is a common misconception. No physicist has ever measured anything resembling auras as they’re commonly understood.

A few days ago, someone told me that they believed the aura was a human’s magnetic field. This isn’t true. The magnetic field of a human doesn’t act like an aura. It doesn’t change based on emotions or other things like that.

Others say it is something electrical, or related to quantum mechanics. The truth of the matter is that science can’t (yet) measure the aura in any way. Many are skeptical about its existence for this reason.

Still, many, many people have seen auras throughout history. To me, it’s a real phenomenon. Science may not understand it yet, but, for me, it’s real!

The energy that extends beyond our physical bodies is called the aura. The word “aura” is derived from Latin aere, meaning “air” or “gentle breeze.” The American Heritage Dictionary defines the aura as “an invisible breath, emanation, or radiation.” In metaphysics, the aura is seen as the human energy field, that portion of the subtle body that radiates out beyond the limits of the physical body.

Some gifted people see auras without trying. Also, many children see auras in early childhood. Often, this ability, if not cultivated, disappears as they grow up. Many magicians and witches develop the ability to see auras.

This involves a great deal of practice and effort. It’s worthwhile, but everyone is different. Not everyone will have the same aptitude to see auras. Some people can see only a little bit of the aura, like a vague mist. Others see brighter colors and light.

Everyone’s aura is different, too! Most witches and psychics believe this extends only few feet from the body. Size can and does vary, though. Some people may have an aura of only several inches. 

Others might have a very large aura. Size, color, brightness, and other features change throughout a person’s life. If you see a person’s aura at one point, expect it to change within hours, if not minutes. This reflects how dynamic people can be.

Auras in History

People have observed and recorded auras throughout time. It appears in many pieces of religious and spiritual artwork. Historically, auras are usually shown emanating from the body of holy men and women.

Christian artists often depict them surrounding saints. They appear in other cultures, as well. Medieval authors referred to the light surround a person’s head as the “aureole”. They called light around the body the “nimbus.“ These authors called the whole aura the “glory.”

In Scrying for Beginners, Donald Tyson writes about the auras shape in artwork. While many modern seers refer to the aura as a sphere, the ancients saw it differently. They believed that saints emanated two spheres that overlapped.

The glory is sometimes depicted in religious art as the vesica or vesica piscis, a lens-shaped figure formed by the overlap of two equal circles that pass through each other at their centers. Christ, the Virgin Mary, and other saints are often painted within this pointed oval, which is also called a mandorla (from the Italian word for "almond”).

During the occult revival of the late 19th and early 20th century, many people wrote about the aura. Theosophists and other occultists developed complex systems for understanding it. 

Madame Blavatsky and Walter Kilner believed there were distinct layers to the aura. They named them and sought to understand them.

As science merged with occultism, seers began to look for ways to measure the aura. There have been plenty of attempts. None were particularly fruitful.

Of note is “Kirlian Photography.” Symon and Valentina Kirlian developed this practice in 1940s Russia. It involves sending an electrical current through the individual.

A photographic plate records the resulting discharge. Later scientists argued that the image was more mundane. They believed the interaction of this electric field and ambient moisture caused it.

Today, most people seem to agree with that sentiment. Kirlian images recorded don’t behave in a manner consistent with how seers perceive the aura. For example, Kirlian images rarely change based on state of mind.

Despite many attempts, science still doesn’t understand the aura! For that reason, most people relegate it to the realm of metaphysics and occultism. I don’t have a problem with that.

I am supportive of science, but acknowledge that not everything is currently known. As a witch, I do believe in magick, for example. Magick itself isn’t understood or measurable by science. The aura isn’t, but I still find the concept useful.

Seeing the Aura

Over time, it has been evident that people can develop aura sight. I myself saw auras occasionally as a child. I did not have further experiences with this until I began studying magick, though. I don’t consider myself to have natural aura vision.

Still, I see auras in certain circumstances these days. It’s something I practiced and developed. While not everyone can develop this ability, most people can! The level of detail you see will vary, but why not try?

Now, I’ll give you my own method for inducing aura vision. It may or may not work for you. I have read that many other people found these techniques helpful, though.

It is best to begin by looking for your own aura. Some people do begin by working with a partner, though. For me, aura vision comes best when I’m a bit sleepy. I don’t have the focus for it when I’m completely exhausted, but a little sleepiness works well.

I’ve found that auras are easiest to see in a dim environment without bright artificial lights. Natural light in the early morning or evening works best for me. While some folks say candlelight works, I find that the flickering distracts me.

Some herbs and incense can help with aura sight. Herbal blends designed for psychic enhancement have worked well for me in the past. 

My favorite herb for inducing aura vision is mugwort. It is good for other magical purposes, as well. Do some research and be careful if you decide to try it, of course. Not everyone reacts well to herbs.

Begin by focusing your vision on the edges of the body. This is regardless of whether you’re working by yourself or with someone else. 

With other people, I like to fix my vision above the top of the head. When looking for my own aura, I extend my hand flat and at an angle. Then, I gaze above my palm.

This is tricky, though. It takes a lot of practice. It works best for me if I look at the space  close to the body, and try to ignore the body itself. It’s difficult, though. We’re used to looking directly at objects, not the area around them.

I would suggest not wearing very bright clothing when attempting this. That can be distracting. It’s also good to do this against a blank, uncolored surface, like a white wall.

The aura will usually appear first as a light shimmering in the air. This may have a wispy mist-like appearance. It usually begins with a grayish color. Once you can see this, focus on it, and not the object.

When you can see the aura very close to the body, begin to glance around that area. After a time, you will be able to see a larger, more diffuse part.

Aura Colors

While many people can see auras, not everyone can see aura colors. This is especially true for beginners. For those that don’t see colors, the aura appears as that shifting, shimmering mist.

If color does appear in the aura, focus on the color. It may seem to grow brighter and brighter. Most seers agree that the colors correspond to the nature of the person at that specific time. 

Some books will list “color meanings” for the aura. My view is a bit different. Aura colors do have meaning, but, to me, a given color’s meaning depends on the seer.

If you associate yellow with happiness, seeing a yellow aura would show that the subject is happy. We don’t all process color the same way! We tend to absorb cultural associations for certain colors. Still, everyone has a different view. Keep this in mind when reading the aura!

Conclusion

I hope this article provides a good beginning for potential aura seers! Developing aura vision is fun and exciting. You can learn about a person (and how to connect with them!) by examining their aura.

Beginner's Guide to Pendulums

⛤Okay, so I have been wanting to put out a post about pendulums based on how I was taught to use them by my aunt, a long-time pendulum diviner and dowser. This post is based solely on our traditions and beliefs. I am NOT telling anyone that this is the one and only way to work with pendulums. Please do what works for you. If these methods suit you, fantastic! If not, it’s okay. Alright, buckle your seat belts ‘cause here we go.

⛤So, you want to use a pendulum. Cool! First you have to get one. There are several ways to obtain a pendulum. You can buy one from a specialty shop (many new age and crystal shops sell them). You can buy one online from places like Etsy, Ebay, and other places. You can even make one. All you need is a string or chain and something to hang from it. It can be as simple as a needle stuck in a cork hanging from some thread (as my great grandmother did). You can also use a piece of jewelry, such as a necklace or a lanyard as a pendulum. Find, make or buy one that is suitable for you.

⛤Now that you have a pendulum, it’s time to clear/charge it. A very important step when using a pendulum is to cleanse it, especially if you bought one. A pendulum in a store, even an online store, has been touched by many people. People have probably touched it to look at it, shop employees have probably touched it when they were putting out to be bought. The seller from an online shop has certainly touched it. All of these people touching the pendulum that you just bought have left residual energies on it. These energies can affect the accuracy of the pendulum. So, you have to cleanse it. I recommend you cleanse your pendulum the same way you do any of your magickal tools. If it’s made from a crystal, you can cleanse it the same way you cleanse your crystals. If you don’t know how to cleanse your pendulum, I was taught to start with a prayer/incantation/chant. Write one that explains your intention just like you would to write a spell. Be specific in your writing. If you want to work with your spirit guides, say that. If you want to work with your higher self, say that. Be specific in the kind of spirits you want to work with. Do you want to work with ancestors? Spirit animals? Etc. If you want to work spirits aligned with light, be specific on the type of light. Anyway, after you have your prayer/incantation/chant written down, you can begin to cleanse your pendulum. The cleansing ritual/ceremony/process can be a elaborate as you deem fit. When I cleansed mine, I didn’t go very elaborate, but if you need to go for it. There are several ways you can use to cleanse your pendulum. 1st, smoke cleansing. Just as you would use sage to cleanse a room, you can use it to cleanse your pendulum. Light a bundle of dried sage, or sage incense. Pass your pendulum through the smoke and say your prayer/incantation/chant. Do this for as long as you think is necessary. 2nd, visualization. Hold your pendulum in your hand and visualize it being surrounded by a brilliant white light. Focus on the residual energies being driven away and cleansed from your pendulum. Say your prayer/incantation/chant while you do your visualization. I used this method to cleanse my pendulum. I visualized putting the pendulum in a stream of white light and letting the light flow over it like water, cleansing away the residual energies. 3rd, if your pendulum is made of crystal, any crystal cleansing techniques will work to cleanse it (i.e. burying it, putting it in running water, burying in salt, putting it with cleansing crystals, such as clear quartz and selenite, etc.). If you made your pendulum, you might not have to worry so much about cleansing and charging it because you made it and it’s already aligned with your energy. However, if you bought your pendulum, after you have cleansed it you need to charge it with your energy. You can do this by carrying it around with you in your pocket and asking small, mundane questions. (I’ll explain this more later)

⛤Now you have a cleansed and charged pendulum. What’s next? Well, you need to program it. By programming, I mean you need to establish how your pendulum will work for you. This includes deciding how you want your pendulum to move based on certain responses to your questions. Now, I have seen many posts and read several books that say that you are supposed to ask the pendulum to show you how it will move for yes, no, maybe, I don’t know, etc. I was taught that you shouldn’t do this because it opens you up for potentially dangerous situations and it sets the precedent that the pendulum or the spirits communicating through the pendulum are in control. I was taught that this is potentially dangerous. I was also taught that this is your experience on this plane of existence. Because of that, you should be in control and do what you are comfortable with. The pendulum is a tool and the spirits communicating through it are guides that can only offer advice. Anyway, you should be the one who decides how the pendulum will move according to the different responses. My pendulum moves in a clockwise circle for “yes”, a counter-clockwise circle for “no”, back and forward for “maybe”, side to side for “I don’t know”, and it stays still for “please rephrase the question.” You can program your pendulum however makes you feel comfortable and however you will remember the meaning of the movements best. After all, what’s the point in asking a question if you can’t understand the answer?

Going back to charging the pendulum. Programming it actually goes into charging it. The more you use your pendulum, the more it becomes aligned to your energy. When you first start using your pendulum, begin by asking it mundane questions. Start with things that don’t have a significant impact on your life, such as what should a I eat for dessert, what color shoes should I wear, should I buy this thing. Simple stuff like that gets you used to your pendulum and it helps you remember your programming for it better. It also helps your pendulum become aligned with your energy and makes the responses more accurate.

⛤Using a pendulum is a great way to get advice on decisions you’re indecisive about. It’s also a wonderful tool for communicating with your spirit guides and companions.

⛥As you get more accustomed to using your pendulum, you can do other things with it. You can create charts to help you get more in depth information. For example, you can make a time table to help organize your tasks for the day. You can make a list of activities to do and when you are bored or don’t know what to do next, ask your pendulum. My aunt did this a lot with her kids. They would want to go outside to play and she would want them to do homework. She would dowse (ask her pendulum) on it and whatever the pendulum said is usually* what they did. Additionally, you can use your pendulum for spirit work. You can make a letter board (like a ouija board) and communicate with spirits. You can also use pendulum for Reiki work, using it to find blockages in the chakras. The list goes on and on.

I put an * next to “usually” in my little anecdote because as I said earlier, this is your experience on this plane of existence. Your pendulum and the spirits communicating through it can only offer advice. You have the ability to either listen to what your pendulum advises or not. That being said, in my experience the pendulum is usually right.

⛤Anyway, I know that was a super long winded post about pendulums. I hope you find the information useful. If using pendulums is something you want to do, go for it! I absolutely LOVE mine and I am so happy I had someone in my life who could teach me about them!

⛤Also: a good exercise to do with pendulums is to have two, one in each hand, and see if you can get them both to move in harmony with each other. This will show any weak energy flow in your body. It’s a good way to help build up that flow and make it stronger. I, personally, have to work on this with my right hand because it is significantly weaker than my left.

A spell for protecting your house when you’re not there.

Place your dominant hand on the door of the home you wish to protect, and say these words:

Alternative use:

Write it on a piece of paper, and put it in the door jamb as you leave, or tape it to the inside of the door.

The Data Theory

This theory was originally developed by derekscorner and revised last night. I delve into the theory a little bit myself and came up with something pretty incredible. Again, most of this theory is in credit to derekscorner. All I’ve done is branch it out a little more. You can read the original post along with what I came up with here.


Kingdom Hearts is never entirely clear on how it’s universe works. The only trustworthy information you can get is spoken by characters in cut scenes, usually rather vague and said with symbolism, or it’s hidden somewhere in the “Reports” you recover throughout all of the games.

Because of this, the game can constantly flex it’s rules to bring about more scenarios and fix discrepancies it might have had in the past. But assuming, with the release 1.5+2.5 for the PS4, all of those discrepancies were fixed and the game is official, theories about this game will now become all the more relevant. And sensible.

Most things in Kingdom Hearts can be explained away in a rather convoluted essay. However, there are still select few scenarios that fans can’t seem to tackle because it wouldn’t make sense for how the game’s universe operates. One of these leading scenarios is the issue of bringing the lost Nobodies back into existence. I’m talking about Roxas, Naminé, and Xion.

JUNGKOOK’S POV

An immobilizing sense of panic shot through Jungkook, causing him to freeze. He could feel his heart racing in his chest, and his vision became unfocused in his state of unadulterated fear. Immediately, Jungkook sensed that the sudden emotion was being transmitted through your soulmate bond, and soon fear wasn’t the only feeling Jungkook was contending with.

“Y/N? What’s going on?” Jungkook thought helplessly. He moved through the crowd, leaving behind whichever girl he had been talking to, and tried to escape the confines of the party. The sense of panic he had been feeling had suddenly ceased, which was even more worrying. “Talk to me–are you alright? Fuck! Y/N!

By the time Jungkook reached the front door, he was covered in a sheen layer of sweat–in part from the heat of the party, and mostly because of his increasing worry. He burst through the door, lurching into the cool, night air.

“Y/N!” he bellowed, head swinging side to side as he searched for you. Cursing, Jungkook realized he had no idea where to even look. He couldn’t hear your thoughts, so relying on luck, he turned to his right and ran.

Jungkook sprinted down the empty road, his footsteps falling heavily and echoing through the silence. His lungs burned and his muscles ached, but the cold grip of fear around his heart kept him running.

In his mind, he could feel your presence slipping away. Even if you were silent, there was always a warm, comforting feeling of your presence. But now, it was being replaced with cold nothingness.

He prayed that you were safe–he knew that he had caused whatever had made you so panicked. Jungkook wished he could go back in time, stop you from leaving. Maybe even go back further, and stop you from hurting at all.

But he knew that it was useless to hope.

As Jungkook turned a corner, he was blinded by bright, flashing blue, red, and white lights. An ambulance was stalled in the middle of the road alongside a single car. Jungkook’s feet skidded to a stop as he stared at the scene unfolding before him.

“No,” he whispered, his voice breaking. Staggering forward, Jungkook’s eyes began to water with unshed tears. A man stood in his path, so Jungkook grabbed him roughly by the shoulders and spun him around. The man stared up at Jungkook, his eyes wide and his face pale. “What happened!?”

“T-there was an accident,” the man explained, his voice shaking. His eye’s darted to the right, so Jungkook’s followed.

On the ground, a girl lay sprawled on the cement in front of the parked car. Two paramedics were kneeling beside her, assessing her injuries as they prepared her body for the stretcher.

Jungkook knew immediately that it was you. His body moved forward on its own accord as Jungkook’s mind screamed.

“No,” he repeated, his voice becoming louder. It cracked as he spoke. The paramedics turned around, alarmed at the sight of the distressed boy.

“Sir, please stand back,” one of them said, standing up with his hands in front of him placatingly. “We need you to stay out of the way so we can get to the hospital.”

“She’s my soulmate!” Jungkook cried, surging forward to get closer to you. The paramedic sprung up, grabbing Jungkook by the shoulders and holding him back. “Let me see her! Is she alive? Oh god–tell me she’s alive!”

Jungkook’s hoarse cries filled the quiet night, his words becoming mangled together until they were indecipherable. Another pair of hands grabbed Jungkook and stopped him from struggling–he was pretty sure they belonged to the man who had hit you.

And god, Jungkook wanted to be angry with that man. He wanted to be furious. But Jungkook knew that everything was his fault. If you died, it would be because of Jungkook. The fight left him, and Jungkook crumpled to the ground.

Silent sobs wracked his frame as he kneeled, watching your lifeless body being whisked away on a stretcher into the ambulance. Sirens began wailing as the ambulance lurched to life, but to Jungkook, the sound seemed far away. He could only stare as the ambulance–as his soulmate–sped away into the night, disappearing into obscurity.

Jungkook’s mind was blank. He felt numb everywhere, he couldn’t even feel his own body. It was like he had slipped away and was watching himself from someplace else, wishing that what had happened wasn’t real.

He wondered if this was all just an elaborate nightmare. If, at any moment, he would wake up never having met you. That way, he had a chance to undo all the mistakes he had made. Jungkook wished that were true, but he knew better than to wish.

“Come on, I’ll take you to the hospital,” the man from before spoke, his tired voice lined with guilt. “Don’t worry son, I’m sure she’ll be alright.”

Jungkook felt himself being lifted, and he stood up shakily. The man led Jungkook into his car, struggling to get the large boy into the vehicle. They rode in silence to the nearest hospital, and by the time they arrived, Jungkook wasn’t sure how much time had passed.

Since he had arrived at the hospital, Jungkook had done nothing but stare at the walls in the hallway in front of him, waiting for you to exit the emergency room. After a few hours, your body was whisked away to an intensive care unit. Jungkook followed the line of doctors and nurses that wheeled you away, met by looks of pity.

The doctors tried to explain the extend of your injuries to Jungkook, but their words fell on deaf ears. All he could do was stare at you. You had been moved to a hospital bed, looking impossible small underneath thin, white sheets. There were cuts and bruises all across one side of your face. Like before, you were unresponsive.

Eventually, the room emptied out, and only you and Jungkook remained. He dragged a chair across the room, its legs squeaking against the cleanly polished tiles. Jungkook sat down beside your bed and did nothing but stare.

White walls and the scent of antiseptic surrounded Jungkook. His dark clothing was a stark contrast against all the white and pale grey around him. He hated everything about hospitals–they brought up so many terrible memories.

But for once, he was able to find comfort. The steady beeping of your heart monitor ignited a spark of hope within Jungkook.

From the night into the morning, nurses drifted in and out of the unit to check on you. They cast worried looks at Jungkook, who had not moved in several hours. One even tried to bring to bring him food, only to return an hour later and see it untouched.

People tried speaking to Jungkook again. He couldn’t bring himself to listen properly, but a few words lingered, like “serious head trauma” and “potential brain damage.” Those words echoed around in the background of Jungkook’s mind ceaselessly.

In the time Jungkook had spent watching you, he also had time to think. He tried to recall every one of your thoughts he had heard. Every conversation you had shared. It was impossible to reestablish them all–he had been listening to you for as long as he could remember.

In his life that had been filled with so many horrors and so much sadness, you were the one bright light in the darkness that surrounded Jungkook. And how, that light was so close to being extinguished. With nothing better to do, Jungkook whispered quiet confessions, hoping that even in your unconscious state, you would hear them.

“I’m so sorry, Y/N,” Jungkook whispered, his voice rough after everything he had put it through. “I’m sorry for everything–everything I’ve done, everything I’ve said. I never wanted to hurt you, never. You mean the world to me.”

He could feel his eyes begin to water, but in the sanctity of the empty room, Jungkook did not stop talking.

“I never thought we would meet so soon,” Jungkook confessed, tears slipping down his cheeks. He reached out for your hand, holding it carefully in his larger ones. “I wasn’t ready. Right now, I’m not…I’m not a good person. I wanted to change–become someone you could be proud of. But in the end, you already knew exactly who I was. I wasn’t ready to face you, and I pushed you away. I’m sorry.”

Jungkook kept talking, pouring his heart out to your unhearing ears. He spoke until his voice faltered and he had no more words to say. But even then, he knew it wasn’t enough. He would do anything to make you understand. He wasn’t sure if you could live not knowing if you would every forgive him.

Suddenly, in his clammy palms, Jungkook felt your hand twitch. His eyes widened and jumped to your face. Your eyelids were twitching as you roused slowly. Jungkook leapt to his feet and searched for the assistance button.

“Nurse!” he yelled, his voice cracking. He jammed the button frantically, unsure of what to do as you began to wake.

Jungkook watched in awe as your eyes opened slowly. You squinted into the bright light, your eyes darting around the room as you tried to make sense of what was happening.

“What happened?” you croaked, your voice hoarse after almost a day of misuse. Your eyes moved to Jungkook who was standing beside you. “Why am I here?”

“You were in a car accident,” Jungkook explained softly, a sense of relief flooding through him. His soulmate was alive–everything was going to be alright. “You have a few injuries, but you’re going to be fine.”

“Oh…okay,” you replied slowly, still not understanding. “But why are you here? Where’s Jieun? Who are you?”

Jungkook’s heart stopped in his chest. Did you forget?

“Would you mind telling me the date?” Jungkook asked, sounding much calmer than he felt.

“It’s August 6th, I think,” you said after a moment. Jungkook stared, wide-eyed. You had completely forgotten the past three months. “But that doesn’t answer my question.”

“My name’s Jungkook,” he spoke finally, trying to keep his voice steady. “Y-you may have forgotten me, because of your injuries. But I’m your soulmate.”

“Really? My soulmate?” you repeating, squinting in disbelief. “But you go to my university. Why haven’t you said anything before?”

“We didn’t find out until recently,” Jungkook supplied with a small smile. A nurse burst into the room, gasping when she saw that you were conscious. She called for a doctor, but neither of you paid her entrance any mind.

“Wow,” you breathed, a huge smile lighting up your face. “I can’t believe I finally met you. And that I forgot everything. Will my memories come back?”

“Probably,” Jungkook said, although he wasn’t sure if he wanted that to be true. “We haven’t spent a lot of time together, so you’re not forgetting much.”

“Hey, how do I know you’re not lying?” you suddenly demanded, pointing an accusing finger at Jungkook. It almost made him laugh, and it definitely made him smile. “What’s something only my soulmate would know?”

“When we were younger, we used to think of love songs,” Jungkook remembered suddenly. “You thought of Taylor Swift a lot. I sang ‘Marry Me,’ mostly.”

“Right, we did that,” you confirmed quietly, blushing at the memory. You looked up at Jungkook, your eyes wide and vulnerable. “So, we’re really soulmates. Wow. Do you…do you love me?”

“Yes,” was Jungkook’s immediate response. He realized, in all the times that he had actually spoken to you, that was the first time he had never lied.

Eventually, a doctor entered the room and began asking you questions. Jungkook stared from the sidelines as the examination progressed. The entire time, your eyes kept jumping to Jungkook’s, a bright blush on your face. Every time, Jungkook indulged you with a smile, but he could only wonder when this wonderful illusion would fall apart.
