Please can you write this one shot for me!!! So I had this idea of the avengers needing to recruit people for this mission, and tony knows a girl who is as good as natasha who is working undercover at basically a strip club type place. And so they all go there to find her yet tony only says something like you’ll know her when you see her about her appearance and bucky ends up finding her first but with the style of the song ‘Guys My Age’ by Hey Violet when the bass drops. Thankss!!! xxx

A/N: Sorry it’s so short but I hope you like it!

Bucky’s POV

“Natasha is still injured from our last mission, so we are going to need someone with similar skill sets who would be available to join the team for a short time. Does anyone have any recommendations?” Fury questioned with his powerful voice. The whole team was stationed in the mission briefing room. In two days we were leaving to shut down a small hydra op in the Canadian wilderness.

Thinking over Fury’s question, we all looked at each other seemingly not coming up with any ideas. That is until Tony’s eyes widened and caught all of our attention.

“Oh, I think I’ve got someone” Tony beamed. “Her name is Y/N L/N and I’ve seen her in the field before. She’s practically unstoppable. The last I heard was that she was undercover, but I’m sure she’d be able to help us out for a few days if our good pal Director Fury here could track her down for us” Tony smirked. I, for one, was a little shocked that Tony actually had a good idea. Fury agreed to his plan and set out to find whoever Y/N is.

While Fury did his research to find Y/N, the rest of us went into the common area to watch some TV and hang out.

“So Tony, what’s Y/N like?” I asked him, suddenly becoming curious of the new woman who I would have to spend quite a bit of time with.

“Completely badass, stubborn, and incredibly charming which is odd to say about a professional assassin” Tony stated. He seemed pretty fond of the girl.

Just then Fury burst into the room and ordered everyone to get dressed. She was working undercover somewhere downtown. We were heading out to find her.

The van screeched to a halt in front of a slinky, low lit building. We were in an area of the city that I had never been to before, which was saying something, because I grew up here. As we all got out of the car and approached the building Steve shot me a confused look. I shrugged back at him and continued forward with the rest of the team.

“Alright everyone, I need you to split up and try and find her. She’s in there somewhere” Fury stated and then started towards the door. I went to follow Fury until I remembered something.

“Hey Tony, what does she look like? I’m gonna need to be able to recognize her somehow.”

“Trust me kid” Tony said and clapped me on the shoulder. “You’ll know her when you see her.”

What does he mean? Whatever I guess I’ll find out.

As I opened the door to the building, the immediate smell of alcohol was shocking. Low rhythmic music flowed throughout the surprisingly large space and women with glitter under their eyes danced on stages. They were also just barely clothed. It was hard for me not to stare, but in my defense no one had prepared me for this.

I was raised in a time when seeing a girl in a one piece bathing suit was sports illustrated worthy. Yet, here I was surrounded by beautiful, half naked women. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t affected at least a little by their presence.

Steve looked at me from across the room with severely reddened cheeks. His eyes were wide and I’m sure mine looked the same. Soon Tony grabbed Steve by the collar of his shirt and dragged him to the other end of the floor.

As I slowly adjusted to my environment, I began to scan the room for someone who I believed could be Y/N but no one in particular caught my eye. That was until I moved toward the back of the room. That was her

The song changed as she came into view. It was slower and more seductive. Her hips swayed to a different rhythm and her leg hooked around the pole to her right as she swung to the ground. She gracefully rose back up and her eyes met mine. Must’ve caught me staring. She winked seductively and resumed moving her body in ways I didn’t think possible until that moment.

The curves of her body and the way her hair fell made her absolutely breathtaking. Everything about her drew me in. The heat rose to my cheeks as the bass of the music vibrated the floor.

I approached the stage and Y/N held out her hand for me to take. I was confused for a moment before she hopped down from the stage and used my hand for support. She looked me up and down and smiled.

“So, you must be James. Fury called and gave me a briefing about the team” she smirked keeping up her attitude from on stage, but speaking to me low enough that no one would hear her. She was undercover after all.

“Uh Bucky” I stuttered out.

“Hm?” she questioned.

“Call me Bucky” I said slowly gaining some confidence.

“Alright Bucky. Let’s get out of here before we draw any suspicion” she whispered with a smirk. Y/N gripped my hand and pulled me towards the exit still maintaining her attitude. As I got another good look at her all I could think was holy shit I’m in deep.

To anyone in the Star Wars fandom who is a person of color or just a fan of Finn/John Boyega, I highly recommend you block @jariksolo1138 who has been blatantly racist and during our conversation did nothing but show her true colors

Screen shots under the cut, I highlighted parts that I felt were important and I am sorry if anyone (especially if you are a POC) has come into contact with her

Stop discriminating against yourself

I always call myself a feminist because I believe in gender equality. I never hate any men, I only hate patriarchal oppressions imposed to women. Today, however, I found we have to worry more about another thing that has been ignored by most feminist activists — women who are sexist toward themselves.

I was raised up all the Asian way where family is perceived as an indispensable part of our culture. When I was young, I was taught the three obedience: To obey our father before marriage, our husband when married, and our sons in widowhood and the four virtues (morality, proper speech, modest manner and diligent work) of women in ancient China. I admit that as time goes by, the society is moving forward, such doctrines are unlikely to be implemented in modern Chinese society. But it is undeniable that in China, a woman’s success is closely related to her marriage and the men she married to. Chinese women are always forced to marry a man when they entered a certain age to have a family to conform to our unassailable cultural norm’s family values and to perform the duties of housewives.

While I don’t want to completely obliterate our culture’s values toward family, to be honest, I love the happiness that a family can bring, I think imposing the supremacy of family to every woman can only have negative impacts to a woman’s pursuit of freedom, love, happiness, success and other important things of their lives. Undoubtedly, a woman’s life has much more to do than being a wife and pleasing her husband. When it faced the reality, however, I was told by my family members, my friends and my teachers in school: You are so tomboyish; you are so flirty; you are so rational; you are so intimidating to boys. Not to mention that I heard a thousand times I can not find a boyfriend if I am not sweet and shy. Those words, surprisingly, are uttered mostly by women around me. When I told them no, I am a feminist. They started to characterize me as immature and ignorant toward social rules. To be worse, they even judged me as straight woman cancer, masculine and celibate.

But here I’m gonna say, as a feminist, I don’t need your suggestion to the choices I made in my life. I don’t need you to tell me whether a woman’s success is defined by her marriage. I have so many things to enjoy, so much contribution to be made to the world, and a long way to walk through in the future. I believe women should have the freedom to have sex, to express their thoughts and not to marry in their life. I urge all of you stop discriminating against yourself, stop live the way that feudal system told you to do. If you don’t understand what feminism means, look it up in the dictionary, do not comment on the issues you are not familiar with.

Lastly, if you feel the society restricts your freedom and doesn’t fit your difference, obliterate it and create a new one. Period.

Things Deadpool movie had:

  • Nudity (male and female)
  • Sex
  • Dick and sex jokes
  • Awkward camera placing
  • Torture
  • MURDER and some gore
  • A mention of prior abuse

Things Deadpool movie did not have:

  • Rape jokes
  • Anti-trans jokes
  • Humor at the expense of anyone’s sexuality or gender in a negative way.
  • Sexual assault/abuse of any form (nothing explicitly shown)

Like seriously. There were sex jokes every scene but nothing bad bad. And it was also surprisingly respectful towards women considering the nature of certain scenes.

So….really. If you’re ok with the things I listed in the first category, you don’t have to worry. Deadpool was a good movie.

It is also clear that the more powerful men become, the more they speak. This would seem a natural correlation, but the same is not true for women. The reason for this, according to a Yale study, is that women worry about “negative consequences” — that is, a backlash — if they are more voluble. Troublingly, the study found that their fears were well founded, as both male and female listeners were quick to think these women were talking too much, too aggressively. In other words, men are rewarded for speaking, while women are punished.

So here is the conundrum: Including women is not the same as hearing women. As the Princeton and Brigham Young study noted, “having a seat at the table is very different than having a voice.” Women at the table will attest to finding themselves talked over, cut off, interrupted or forced to politely listen to reams of lengthy speeches. The conditions required for women to speak more are, not surprisingly, that more women are present, and that women are leading. According to a Harvard study, female students spoke more when a female instructor was in the classroom.

We all know why most of them don't like the idea of T/Z together. Often they ship themselves with Tom or with their own other favs (which 'surprisingly' are usually white women) or with Haz. I think only very small amount of people don't care about Tom's personal life or genuinely just like T/Z's friendship but don't see them as a couple and neither ship Tom with anyone else either. Whether people like to admit it or not, many of them lowkey think they have a chance with him.
