The song is just about growing up in England. Like, Americans don’t really smoke roll-ups. Like the hand-rolled cigarettes. And they don’t really booze either when they’re younger. They were really surprised that we were drinking straight vodka at fifteen, but I feel like every 15-year-old buys a little cheap, like, four quid bottle of vodka from Co-op, shares it between all their mates, and throws up at a historical landmark.
