How to Read Tarot Cards When You Don’t Know Shit

OR: HOW I STOPPED WORRYING AND LEARNED TO LOVE PRACTICING TAROT

This is a simple exercise I’ve done really to hone my intuition while divining. I like to pull a three card spread (past, present, future) but you can really use whichever spread you’d like.

Major Arcana:

  • Most trump cards can be self explanatory if you’re good at word association.
  • The Fool card starts a story that follows a journey through to the World, the end. Everything in between is character development.
  • Death does not mean death. Unlike most horror films, its appearance can actually signal a new beginning or change.

Minor Arcana:
Know what each suit means or symbolizes in general.

  • Cups: Water, focuses on your emotional self, creativity and romance, following your heart over your head.
  • Pentacles: Earth, focuses on your physical self, material ideas like business or wealth, manifestation.
  • Swords: Air, focuses on your mental self, action and concentration, intelligence and conflict.
  • Wands: Fire, focuses on your spiritual self, intuition and inspiration, values and flaws.

All in All:

  • Use the context clues in the imagery of your cards to guide your intuition.
  • Don’t worry about misreading a card or getting anything wrong. This is really about trusting yourself and your gut instincts.
  • Don’t be afraid to take the surface value of the card during this exercise. It’s just an exercise.

I hope this helped you if you’re just starting out, want to try a different method to divining with tarot, or just want to generally work on trusting your gut.

judging on surface value, using comparative anatomy it’s easy to come to the conclusion that birds could have a rather similar structure as mammals (pardon my flaked off nail polish)

but of course birds are birds therefore they need to be needlessly complicated. what you are really seeing in those specimens and the scaled part of a bird’s legs are essentially just the bones we have as our wrist and hand (well, more specifically ankle and foot because hind limb)

and of course birds can’t stop there, we need an assortment of weird toe arrangements too

anonymous asked:

why did i feel so strange when dan came to the "another white guy that people ship with his friend" part and phil was right next to him? there was literally no reason to but i cringed a little

this might be weird but i hated hearing dan talk about “shipping his friend” right next to phil. and phil didn’t even do anything? made me feel so weird. i hated that line in the original video too. i mean i get why he said it in the diss track but i still hate it and it feels very antiphan

i think that’s understandable. in the moment (in today’s video), i also was weirdly taken aback that there was absolutely no reaction from either of them when dan delivered that line. the reason it strikes us as being so odd is because it’s an overt shattering of the fourth wall. basically as close as we might get in this era to them openly talking about the fact that people “ship” them. they haven’t really explicitly addressed that in the last few years outside of a handful of sidelong allusions and reacting to “shippy” art in the tumblr tag videos. but that being said, their lack of reaction isn’t all that surprising as they probably discussed the lyrics of the diss track to death before dan uploaded that video. phil was even in the video for that exact line! so it’s not like they were going to do something to indicate some deeper significance to that line when dan said it.

to the meaning of the line in general, and it being interpreted as “antiphan,” i would just say that it’s less of a big deal than it might seem on surface value. i mean it was interesting at the time for the same reason i just mentioned–it was a now-rare instance of dan acknowledging ~the ship~ in such a forthright way. but importantly it doesn’t contain any affirmation or denial of his relationship status with phil? it is just sort of a startlingly self-aware statement, with respect to how dan likely views himself as a youtuber: that a large part of his popularity comes from the fact that 1. he is white and male, and 2. people ship him and phil together, or, to avoid that phrasing if it makes people uncomfortable, take interest in the realities of his and phil’s relationship. to me it feels like the reason people are actually weirded out by the line is bc he calls phil his friend, but to that i just wonder what else anyone would expect him to call phil in that context, and given the tight meter/rhyme scheme he was trying to uphold in this rap. i mean. he didn’t have enough syllables for “housemate” or “social security blanket” or “senpai” or “best friend” or “creative inspiration,” all of which he has essentially labeled phil as before.

My Art 75 class went to the Des Moines Art Center today, and there were a bunch of great new exhibitions.  One of the exhibits, Surface Value, featured the African American female artist Mickalene Thomas.  These photos don’t really do her vast mixed media pieces justice, but the color, rhinestones, and flaunting of black culture is amazing to soak up in person.  Check out her site: http://mickalenethomas.com/

One Year | A Gaston Story

Gaston (Luke Evans) X OC

Summary: Gaston made all the wrong choices in life, and when a dramatic fall from the Beast’s castle leaves him wounded and near-death, he thinks it’s the end of his time. When an old beggar woman appears at his side, she heals him back to his normal self but gives him one year, and only one year, to find true love before his time on earth, and the town’s memories of him, come to an end.

The evening’s wintry bite gnawed painfully at Gaston’s exposed skin while his arm draped across his face, shielding himself from the sudden frosty temperature. Cheeks still stinging with outrage, he mulled over the events of the last hour as Tom and Dick’s sneering expressions became vividly engraved in his mind. He couldn’t believe it. Had they not intruded, his dinner with Anne would have most likely been a success, an awkward success that is, but the wrath of his two previous friends suddenly brought his actions from June to the surface. Anne was unaware of the grueling details, but he had lost his final attempt with her, he figured. Now, she knew he was a monster. He should have distanced himself like he promised he would, but he allowed his emotions to take control.

Normally, Gaston would hunt or seclude himself in his private spot in the woods, but on this particular evening, he was meandering aimlessly. Truth be told, he considered running away, never having to return to that dreaded, tale-telling village. No wonder Belle always visualized herself with a larger plan than that smothering town. He had often criticized the young woman for her wild ideas, but now that he was a constant target of whispers and insults, traveling to a far-off land appeared ideal.

Why did this happen to him? How was it that Gaston the Great could never be fully content? At a time, he was, but after his parents unexpectedly passed away and the war took hold of his susceptibility and molded him into the perfect villain, he was always in search for completion. And now the curse, this hopeless curse, where he would never be presented the opportunity to redeem himself…it was all a disgusting joke. The village and its dreadful people made it impossible to break the curse, but Gaston was well aware that he was a cause of its failure as well. He did have that chance of absolution, with Anne, and he completely obliterated it.

His heart pulsing uncontrollably, Gaston gripped his bow as the numbed tips of his fingers curled over the bow’s upper limb. It’s so unfair, he thought to himself as his hands began to quiver with rage. That damn Beast, he was obviously cursed by the Enchantress and he still managed to find love. Why, with Gaston, was he only given one year? Only one year to find his true love and somehow she would have to match his exact admiration? It was impossible. Why didn’t the Enchantress just kill him when she had her moment? Why couldn’t she let him die in peace? She may as well have; He was doomed, after all.

With rapid speed, Gaston withdrew an arrow from the holster, placed it against the bow, pulled back and launched the weapon directly into a narrow tree trunk. One after another, Gaston fired the arrows, imagining the faces of the unruly townspeople until there were no arrows remaining. In an enraged state, Gaston was blinded with darkness as he grabbed his hunting knife and hurled it into the nearest tree.

His chest rose and fell with heaviness, nostrils flared, as he lowered the bow at his side. Suddenly, a sharp pain traveled from his toes, up his body, throughout his limbs, and towards his head as Gaston dropped to the forest floor, doubled over in agony. His muscles tensed, throbbing rhythmically, as his complexion grew feverish. While the pain broke then regained itself in intervals, he clutched his heart and groaned in reaction as his clenched fist pounded violently into the soil, leaving an indentation in the ground.

What’s happening to me? He thought to himself as the fierce discomfort subsided. Unsteady and apprehensive, Gaston, mind racing with thought, rose to his feet as beads of chilled sweat formed on his forehead.

Why couldn’t everyone simply leave him alone? Did they truly care? He often wondered this in regards to LeFou, there was no doubt that his trusted sidekick was loyal, but the events from June left Gaston contemplating whether or not LeFou stayed out of habit. Wherever LeFou was, Stanley followed and therefore his desire to help Gaston wasn’t fully genuine either. But Anne? Could it have been because she had nowhere else to go? Was that why she stayed?

Either way, he was certain that he would never find happiness again. That feeling died with his mother and father only to be buried for good when Gaston left the village for years of combat. The excessive damage to his character was done, and after gathering his arrows and hunting knife with shaking hands, he shuffled towards the tavern with no desire other than returning to solitary confinement as he awaited the last of his remaining days.

Gaster Was Never Erased

Now that I have your attention …

This is not a theory that I will hold a crusade for. However, I find it interesting. Most theories, most thoughts that get circulation now, are either old, old news or so outlandish as to be unbelievable.

This one, however, feels solid.

I do believe that by and large the UT fandom has been operating under some false assumptions about Gaster. The general understanding is that Gaster, after falling into his ‘creation,’ was retroactively erased from the Undertale universe. But, while the evidence at surface value might seem to imply that (it certainly fooled me), a closer examination calls that into doubt.

Perception vs. Reality - The Girl Meets World Story

Other than “Meeting the World” and “Belgium 1831,” perception v. reality is arguably one of the most important themes in the show. It is more or less talked on throughout the entire show. We see this theme play out in multiple episodes with multiple characters, especially throughout the triangle arc.

So without further ado, let’s get it!

First, let me start off by defining the two words:

Perception (noun):

a way of regarding, understanding, or interpreting something; a mental impression.

Reality (noun):

the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them.

Now that’s out of the way, let’s move on to how these two ideas are juxtaposed in the show.

So throughout the show, we are met with many instances of how things that we perceived may not be how they actually are. And while I could do the usual thing and spend ages going into excruciating detail about every scene where this is the case, I would rather keep this one short.

So, instead, I’m going to talk about two people, and how their relationship has affected almost everyone on the show.

Enter… Cory and Topanga.

Now, what we have seen throughout the show is that Cory and Topanga have been idealized and conceptualized by almost every main character on the show. Cory and Topanga, and their relationship, really affected how the kids perceived romantic relationships.

However, there are a few caveats to this:

1. We have to keep in mind that the writers often used Cory and Topanga as a plot point to illustrate how this story (Girl Meets World) is not the same as Boy Meets World. Ironically enough, this was really emphasized in the episode Girl Meets Cory and Topanga.

2. While Riley did compare herself to her parents quite a bit in the earlier seasons, we see her start to move away from that as she begins to mature and make the world her own.

Moving on, we see that Riley compares herself to her parents and often stresses about finding her “prince” or her “Cory” so to speak. This poses a fundamental problem for her throughout the series. Because Riley deems her prince to be Lucas, even though there is a lot of evidence that speaks to him not being the prince she needs - it causes her to enter into a relationship with Lucas that isn’t beneficial for either of them.

The perception was that Riley and Lucas were meant to be… But the reality is that they hardly interacted while they were dating, and arguably had a better relationship when they weren’t dating. They also fought less and got along more when they were not romantically involved.

Now, to make matters worse, after Lucas and Riley got together, it caused more harm then good. And there are a few factors that played into this:

1. Lucas not being able to actually voice his decision about who he chose after making his choice the “right” way. See @cowboyandshortstack‘s post for more details —> (x).

2. Because of the nature of Lucas and Maya’s relationship, it caused them to drift apart and no longer be able to talk to one another… which culminated in Maya replacing Lucas’ role as the protector with Farkle.

3. The length of time it took Lucas to make a decision put a good strain on Riley’s friendship with Maya, which was compounded by Riley insisting that Maya had “become her” and that she “needed to go back to Mayaville.”

Look. I’m not saying that the Riley and Lucas relationship was the worst thing ever. It wasn’t. But the truth is that the perception of what their relationship would be never aligned with reality. When your boyfriend goes to a different state to avoid playing a simple Secret Santa game - it calls into question the validity of that relationship. The perception that Lucas was always meant to be this hero and that him and Riley would have this amazing, Corpanga-esque relationship just doesn’t align with the reality of their relationship.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t hate them. But they, along with idealizing Corpanga, are a great example of what inaccurate perceptions can do to your reality.

And the Corpanga idealizations didn’t just happen with Riley. They also occurred with Shawn as well. Throughout the show, when we are graced with Shawn’s presence on-screen, we see that a big struggle he faces is trying to “keep up” with the idea of Cory and Topanga.

It’s the reason he originally left New York and travelled the world.

It’s the idea that most fans originally thought the show was going to be about:

Riley = Cory

Maya = Shawn

Riley & Lucas = Cory and Topanga

And while Riley and Maya do share traits from Cory and Shawn, ultimately they are not Cory and Shawn. They are Maya and Riley. And while if you take this show at surface value, I can understand why someone would have that interpretation. But, the reality is that Riley and Maya are unique individuals who share similarities with their predecessors, but they are not their predecessors, which means that their story won`t be exactly the same as their predecessors.

And looking at Shawn`s life, we see that he had somewhat of a Corpanga idealization when he was in a relationship with Angela. I know that most Shawngela fans will disagree with this, but that is the topic of another post, so I digress.

We even hear this from Shawn directly when he starts to have a bit of an identity crisis in Girl Meets Upstate:

“Do you know what it’s like to go to school with Romeo and Juliet?”

Now, if you don’t have a fundamental understanding of Cory and Topanga’s relationship, you might take what Shawn is saying as truth. But, the reality is that Cory and Topanga broke up multiple times and their relationship was very rocky at different points of their teen years.

Shawn’s way of understanding Cory and Topanga (i.e. perception) may be a bit clouded due to his misunderstanding of what made their relationship great, and it is at this point in Shawn’s life that I think this quote from MJ (which I can’t find the link to the actual interview) fits well:

“You don’t get to have a relationship like Cory and Topanga by trying to be Cory and Topanga.”

What we perceive may not always be what’s real.

I’ll end off with this quote from MJ about what he wanted to do with love in Girl Meets World and a scene from Girl Meets Sweet 16 which really explains this aspect of relationships well:

“Everyone will be brought into the equation. To answer this as simply as I can without giving anything away, the “Girl Meets” angle has always been a very important part of the show. Every episode is titled “Girl Meets” something.

If we did “Girl Meets Love,” it would not be one episode. It would be a sustained series of episodes in an attempt to explain, for this generation, what the perception of love is, versus what love may actually be, versus are we ready for that at all? Something that is so important cannot be something we tell in one story. But the understanding of how to grow and what’s valuable to these kids will manifest itself over these episodes.”

Farkle: So regular friends are stronger than boyfriends and girlfriends?

Smackle: Or, are those types of relationships simply so new to us that we don’t understand them yet?

Zay: Well maybe, that’s why we take up a whole lot of high school trying to figure it out.

- Girl Meets Sweet 16

So, I hope that explains a little bit of the perception v. reality well! I know this post was a little bit all over the place, so please forgive me for that!

-A.I.

Interpreting the Animation Principles-

Hand-drawn animation requires all 3 conditions- solid draftsmanship, fluid mechanics and compelling performance to enable a character to life.

And in the pursuit of these conditions, some distinctive patterns emerged.  They were noted by the master animators from the Disney Studios back in the earlier time and written into the 12 principles of animation.

When studying animation, the 12 principles become a technical guideline and often taken at given surface values.  For example, ‘squash-and-stretch’ is necessary to keep the movement pliable, organic and not stiff-looking.  A body part must squash and stretch from a technical point-of-view.  But it really is much more than that and has much to do with how an animator senses a feel of mass in relation to force.

I feel it is very resourceful to question the principles, to fully understand how certain principle came to be from a more personal perspective.  Through this in-depth understanding, an animator can truly apply them effectively, and in turn, adding new personal revelations.

(Above, my very first scene for the industry from Disney’s ‘Rescuers- Down Under’.  I was animating more on instinct for most of my earlier time and not as consciously aware to the underlying nature of movements, causing me to be much slower at arriving to a result…)

What if Someone doesn’t have Retrograde Planets

If someone is born with all planets direct, which means, no retrogrades planets, which is relatively rare, you’re generally a consistent, direct, and persistent person, unlike how other people may delay taking action on something, wait to tell someone how they feel, be conflict avoidant, hesitant, etc. Those with all planets direct in their natal chart charge forward without hesitation, they have less inhibitions, they’re not so introspective, tend to take things at surface value, they don’t spend as much time reflecting on their life, but they have the power to be unstoppable with their goals!

Of course there are often contradicting traits in one’s natal chart, as having planets in the 8th house or 12th house could make a person deep or hesitant.

this is so kind??? and i feel like a broken record but i love when people say they look at my work and it invokes feelings like that’s all i want, like i want people to see my stuff and feel things, surface value shit has always been corny to me so i love that i make you feel things with my art like that genuinely means a lot and whenever i hear that it makes me and my day 1000x better so thank you so much and i can’t wait to blow up either, it’s gonna be so lit

s0tc replied to your post “s0tc replied to your post: “tbh I’m surprised by how many people who…”

I totally feel you!! I think a lot of people typically have the same idea with their agents with the same concept of hates sith still with empire, etc. But I think when it comes down to it /most/ people take surface value of stories (I know I do at times) and roll with what they’re given rather than delving deeper into it and building an entire different backstory. It can admittedly be difficult for some more than others to be that creative which yours sound really neat.

I mean, I get that too? I know I can reach sometimes, I know I get pretty elaborate with backstories, but I can’t do “this is the opposite of what’s expected” without having kernels of truth throughout.

If you play a non-Chiss alien, they constantly make mention of that and patronize your character. The surface level value of the story lets you have the option to openly defy and challenge a Dark Council member and eventually fake your own death and go rogue to protect the actually innocent people of the Empire on your own terms without the supervision of power hungry lunatics and the cowards who bend their knees to them.

Like… I know I reach, but I’m not even reaching here. I’m not projecting, that’s just surface level text to draw evidence from, zero interpretation required. I only take the surface level and go deeper with what I’m already given in games like this. And even without rigorous headcanon, it seems pretty logical to me that a character like that would finally reach their breaking point and refuse to work for the Empire?

And even then, there’s deliberately room for people to project motivation onto their characters and people can fill that in as they please. I know not everyone will take it as FAR as I do but I’m really… I’m really surprised that so few people take it there at all, is what I’m getting at.

MCU vs DCEU

Yes. I am going there. I am so fired up about how these two universes are judged unfairly and I just need to rant so bear with me.

I recently just got out of Doctor Strange. Going into this film I had very low expectations because it truly did not look that great to begin with. It started out with the whitewashing of The Ancient One and I know that, that character is a main plot point so I was turned off immediately. I went into this film expecting Marvel to prove me wrong and they didn’t. Doctor Strange was horrendous and I am in shock at how well-received it is.

Now, as I was watching Doctor Strange I noticed many problems, I noticed that people are blindly following Marvel and are not paying close attention to the repetitive nature of these formulaic structures. I literally predicted everything that was going to happen and I was bored. I was dying of boredom watching this that the visuals were not enough to captivate me about half way through the film.

The visuals were great for like 5 minutes and then it became overused and uninteresting. How many times can the same thing happen over and over again for it to lose its flair? Well Doctor Strange managed to answer that question and it was far too many.

So you are probably wondering why I entitled this the way I did. Well, I’m going to tell you. Doctor Strange got me so fired up that I needed to vent.

Guess what? Doctor Strange, too had a villain (wasted in Mads Mikkeslen) that used a relic from another galaxy to unleash a rampaging monster which then leads to CGI monster mayhem that was in your face and pointless that left the door open wide enough for the next instalments. Hmm? Sound familiar guys?

Stop praising Marvel for having the exact same flaws that every damn superhero movie has. Critics trashed Batman v Superman and people continue to trash Batman v Superman, really look at what the movies are.  I’m tired of this constant battle. I will say that the story structure of Batman v Superman was way better than Doctor Strange, it was more entertaining and the visuals were more aesthetically pleasing than Doctor Strange. Doctor Strange was a mess in its own way and Batman v Superman also had their own problems. Do with this what you will, it won’t ever change but please start looking deeper into Marvel and expect better than their sugary, surface value of characters and formulaic, predictable story structure. We as fans deserve more than this.

A Queen's Reminder

So, I started to start to write it all out

Then I realized that I’ve written it all before.

Several times before.

Last year.

And the year before that.

And 3 years before that.

So, I just re-read my words.

I was trying to etch it into my mind.

Burn the word deep into my skin.

I want them to stain my tongue

Like Spaghetti sauce in a cheap container

That was never built to contain my love.

You weren’t even Ziploc.

You were barely Great Value.

Hell, but it wasn’t your fault.

I was foolish enough to think that you could love me

Without first loving God.

So, because you didn’t know God

You could never know how to treat his children.

You could only know the surface value but never the depth of

Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Romans 12:9 Love must be sincere; Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

Mark 12:31 The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself There is no commandment greater than these.

Romans 13:10 Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Patient, Kind, does no Envy.

Does not boast, is not proud, not rude, not self-seeking, not easily angered, always protects, trust, hopes, preserves, and never fails.

Never fails.

Never Fails.

But this failed.

It failed from the tops of mountains.

It failed from heights unimaginable.

It failed so hard the ground shook.

And it rattled me awake.

It rattled me to my senses and I looked to my Creator

To remember, finally, my name.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew[a] you,

Before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

He made me in joy.

So, even when you tried to strip me of my happiness,

I still smiled.

He made me with freedom.

So, when you tried to trap me in fear,

I still had my wings.

I am a child of the King.

I just had to be reminded that you were just a jester.

And I am a Queen deserving of a true King.

  • what she says: i'm fine
  • what she means: the trials of apollo tag is riddled with solangelo, which while great and important, was cringey (in terms of writing) in the book anyway and could never compare to the themes of abuse, regret, trauma, friendship, and family that were so ever-present in the book, as well as one of the best character development arcs I've seen in a long time. It's quite frustrating to see that lack of acknowledgement of the humour, charm, and well-written dark nature of the plot to focus on a couple that existed in the book for about 8 pages total. Especially since that relationship is talked about more than the relationship that actually matters, which is entirely non-romantic and reveals itself to be much more complicated than surface value.

you're such a goddess, but could you like shut the fuck up about veganism for like one second? we get it, meat is murder, etc. you're beautiful as fuck tho.

first of all, who are you to tell a goddess to dim her light. i am a goddess, i am a woman of intense intelligence god damnit! i wont ever limit myself and i wont ever stop doing what i love because someone incapable of understanding, doesn’t understand. i feel for you, only being able to value the surface of people. but heres some information for you, i am more than what you can physically see. i have thoughts i have emotions all buzzing throughout me and for you to tell me that is all invalid and only my “goddess” appearance is of value is absolutely the most dispicable quality you can conciously decide to share with the world. i would like you to think about how often a vegan sees exploitation of an animal daily. its everywhere you look, its apart of everything and it breaks my heart every day. but im supposed to keep all of that suppressed or else be a labeled crazy heaven forbid! so when i want to talk about my viewpoint and introduce research ive learned so other people can learn too you want me to stop? im here because i have a voice and i am not afraid to use it. i know whats right and dumbing myself down so i can remain ‘pretty’ in the eyes of someone who cant comprehend, would be the most wrong thing i could ever do. this was a very silly request to make and you definitely made it to the wrong person because i will continue to shine and continue to pursure my passion of compassion. its taken me my entire life to get where i am now, and i am completely passionate about being a vegan and making bomb ass vegan food. if you cant understand passion for whatever reason i send you guidance that one day you can. because this is my passion and what i love and i plan on spending my life pursuing this. thank you for reminding me to never give up on myself, and to always remain true to my passion and i hope one day you connect with your compassionate side and decide to go vegan also! and if you paid any attention you would know i speak and spread awareness of alot of different issues, maybe your issue with veganism is something that concerns you the most have you ever thought maybe theres a reason for that? i’ve learned what you judge in others is a reflection within yourself of something that you want to change. sending love and light

Sensing

It’s not that we can’t think deeply. It’s not that we’re uncreative. It’s not that we’re superficial.

It’s easy to forget that types are determined by preference of a particular function, and are not mutually exclusive.

It’s just that we -prefer- interacting with tangible things. When we think, we definitely have the capacity to come up with new ideas or solve problems by fitting together different pieces in our minds. It’s just that we -prefer- using tried-and-tested methods. It may not be as innovative, but we would rather have a good grasp over the situation. Hypothesising is uncertain to us - there are many variables that can change.

And one more point to note:

Pure intuition can seem like a mere conjecture without proof. Pure sensing can seem like merely taking things at surface value. Which is why all of us use both sensing and intuition, albeit in different function positions. This allows us to better balance the way we interact with the world.

Riarkle/Lucaya Fans Please Read/Reblog!!

To those “Riarkle” and “Lucaya” fans that are frustrated and upset…

I feel you, but if you are trying to trend “Cancel Girl Meets World” on any social media site because you didn’t like what happened with the Q & A, please listen to this::

If you “ship” Lucaya and especially Riarkle, you obviously are someone that looks beyond the surface value of things and focuses on theories, small intimate moments, parallels and character development.

You don’t look at the birdie, if you will. You look deeper.

Alright, so what makes you think that the writers who write the show, who are the same people that answered the Q & A weren’t also being their usual crafty, clever and cryptic selves in their responses on Twitter? Do you, someone who believes in meta moments, really think that they would just give away plot twists, especially right before such a huge “Rucas” and “Joshaya” arc is about to happen? Absolutely not

If you look closely, the writers, as far as relationships go, do not actually shut ANY relationships between characters down. Look at word choice and look at how they dance around the question

Then, think about if they see you trying to get their show canceled. What if they had planned all along to bring “Riarkle” and “Lucaya” back and you trying to get their show cancelled just because you don’t get what you want immediately, makes them say a big “F U” to the audience?  So then they alter the story so that you actually don’t ever get to see your “ship” come to life?

And even if you don’t agree with what I’m saying, still stop trying to trend that tag. Because seriously, WTF are you doing?

Respect the writers, guys. They’re smart and they’re crafty and they still managed to write a group of characters that sparked this deep of a passionate love for all these different “ships” to come alive, whether they sail or not.

They hold the power. Don’t fu*k with them.

And don’t pull a Maya, hope isn’t for suckers.
