All praise is due to Allah , to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and to Him belongs all praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted. - first verse of surah Saba
قل إن ضللت فإنما أضل على نفسي وإن اهتديت فبما يوحي إلي ربي إنه سميع قريب
Say: “If I am astray, I only stray to the loss of my own soul: but if I receive guidance, it is because of the inspiration of my Lord to me: it is He Who hears all things, and is (ever) near." (Surah Saba; 34:50)
These stone pillars in the basement of Masjid Al-Aqsa are believed to be put in place by the jinns from the time of Sulayman alayhis salaam.
In Surah Saba’ of the Qur’an Allah subhanahu wa ta’aalah mentions: “There were jinn that worked under his supervision by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them deviated from Our command, we made him taste of the penalty of blazing fire. They worked for him as he desired, (making) arches, statues, basins as large as reservoirs, and (cooking) cauldrons fived (in their places): ‘Work , family of Dawud, with thanks! But few of My slaves are grateful!” [34:12-13]
وما أموالكم ولا أولادكم بالتي تقربكم عندنا زلفى إلا من آمن وعمل صالحا فأولئك لهم جزاء الضعف بما عملوا وهم في الغرفات آمنون

For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure]. (Surah Saba; 34:37)
