I never really make any post, but the way all my dash is talking about harry right now is really upsetting me.
I think that dropping a surprise single or like performing it at the brits and then starting promoting it actively and giving all the necessary infos would actually be a good strategy. I genuinely don’t understand why everyone seem to think the opposite. Why do you think it wouldn’t be wise? Cause he was off social media for like an year? I mean, and so what? Surprise droppings are a thing that - surprise! - not only Beyoncé pulls. In fact, I think this town was a surprise drop too.
I feel like larries are the only ones being upset and I don’t get why. I don’t like Jeff too, I swear to god, he makes me so mad, that fucking quote about metrics made me roll my eyes like few other things in my life have, but from hating Jeff to saying that Harry’s work would be a flop or a disaster or that Harry’s gotten arrogant.. I’m sorry but I don’t think any of these things are true and I’m really upset about my dash. Of course anyone is entitled to their opinion and I know that not all the people who are against this strategy are hating on harry, but I am seeing posts of people legitimately saying nasty things about him and I don’t like it. Harry has done NOTHING to deserve your hate and I think that before judging him we should at least giving him and his team the benefit of the doubt.
Louis Tomlinson was supported by Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne backstage at The X Factor
We were all left in tears last night when Louis Tomlinson bravely took to the X Factor stage to perform his debut solo single just three days after he lost his mother, Johannah Deakin, to leukaemia.
Louis had always been scheduled to perform ‘Just Hold On’ during the X Factor final, something that Johannah was looking forward to seeing, and it is understood that her dying wish was for her eldest son to fulfil his commitment to the show and go ahead with his performance.
The 24-year-old star was visibly fighting back tears following his emotional appearance on the show, but once he returned backstage we are pleased to report that he had the support of not only his family and close friends, but also his three One Direction bandmates.
It is understood that Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne dropped everything so that they could be at Wembley to support their friend, opting to remain out of the spotlight so not to detract attention away from Louis’ big moment.
A source told the MailOnline: “Harry, Niall and Liam all came down to X Factor to support Louis. They all were backstage with him supporting him. It was a lovely moment – and shows the unity of 1D.
“First time all back together in a year. It was a lovely touching moment backstage and they all came to support Louis during a horrible time.
“Niall even flew back from New York.”
Niall and Liam had previously taken to Twitter to send their love and prayers to Louis after news of Johannah’s tragic death broke, with Zayn Malik – who quit 1D before having a very public Twitter spat with Louis last year – also taking the time to pay tribute to the mother-of-seven.
Following his performance, Louis took to his own social media page and admitted that getting on stage was even “harder” than he thought that it would be, writing to his millions of fans: “That was harder than I ever imagined.
“I want to thank everyone around me and all of the amazing fans out there that made that so special!
“Feeling so much love around me and my family. Mum would have been so f**king proud ( sorry for swearing mum ) love you ! [sic]”
He also thanked his collaborator Steve Aoki, who cancelled two shows so that he could be with Louis last night.
The star added: “Also @steveaoki , you have been such a rock and inspiration throughout this! Pure talent and a real gent ! [sic]”
Steve replied: “U were the rock my brother. U are my inspiration. U have the biggest f**king heart and I’m so proud of u. Blew us all away for her [sic]”.
‘Just Hold On’, which is thought to be about Louis’ mother, has since shot to the top of the iTunes chart.
Speaking to a tearful Louis after his solo debut, Simon Cowell said: “I have to say something to you. I’ve known you for six years, what you’ve just done – the bravery.
“I respect you as an artist and I respect you as a person. Your mum was so proud of you Louis and she was so looking forward to this performance.
“She’s watching over you now and you’ve done her so proud.”
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
As well as Louis, Johannah was mother to 18-year-old Lottie, 16-year-old Felicite, 12-year-old twins Phoebe and Daisy and two-year-old twins, Doris and Ernest.
I know we always talk about how the boys protect Niall and how much they love him but I feel like we really underestimate the love and support Niall gives to his band mates; to his brother.
Niall is always the one who hugs them when they cry, who comforts them and more importantly he’s the one who stands up for them when anything makes them uncomfortable.
He hugged Harry so hard when he cried in that one interview when he had felt so uncomfortable by the question the interviewer was making. He made sure Harry was alright when he got sick. He made sure to hug Harry hard when they got third place on the X-Factor and he’s done so so much more.
He always make sure to cheer Louis up when he’s mad or uncomfortable. He’s silly and happy around him to make sure Louis stays silly and happy. He laughed so hard when Louis’ voice cracked in that one concert during Moments but then made sure Louis wasn’t upset. He looks up to him so much and he’s always there for him, too.
With Liam he’s always been so soft and gentle. He play fights and tumbles with him all the time but he’s so gentle and careful whenever Liam is upset. The concert right after March 25th Liam had been visibly upset and crying and Niall had walked right over and hugged him from behind until he was sure Liam was okay. When Liam was insecure about anything Niall would make sure he gained his confidence and made sure to have everyone pay attention to Liam so that he wouldn’t feel left out.
When it came to Zayn, their relationship was one of mutual protection. They always made sure the other was fine and happy and smiling and if they weren’t they would take it upon themselves to change that. Niall was the one person that made sure to get Zayn heard. He made sure everyone around them knew he was there and that he shouldn’t be left out. There was one time in the Italy Midnight Memories interview where they’d asked what they loved as kids and Zayn was shy to admit that he had loved the Power Rangers as a kid and I remember him telling Niall as much and Niall making sure that the person interviewing them would pay enough attention to Zayn so that he could say his piece.
He’s the same with every single one of them. He loves them so much and he’s always there to bring comfort to his boys; every single one of them and I think that’s so important.
look…im sayin this here and now….Liam’s song better make it to #1 and stay on the charts the way yall made This Town stay on the charts. I’m sure only 6 of yall actually liked the song but yall still went out and supported Niall bc it’s Niall. and if the same thing doesn’t happen for Liam, I’m swinging on everybody.
