one thing that ive loved about all the live action speedsters we’ve been getting lately from both marvel and dc (which is a blessing and im so happy about it) is how each one’s superspeed Looks unique, , ,
take the XMCU’s quicksilver and the honestly iconic Slo Motion Pentagon/Mansion scenes in DOFP and XMA respectively
and compare it to MCU quicksilver. while Pietro doesn’t seem to be quite as fast as X-Men’s Peter his superspeed has cool streaky blue speed trail effects ! ! they managed to make the two unique and both of them were cool ! (even if the movie pietro was in was, disappointing)
and on the DC side, the CW flash show is kind of doing the bright yellow/red lightning for its speedsters and while it might be a bit lower budget than the Big Movies its charmingly comic-booky
and then most recently is the upcoming justice league movies flash !!! who is definitely gonna have to compete with the CW show’s barry considering how popular that show is , , and honestly how theyre doing the speedforce lightning is my favorite so far and its awesome that theyre doin something unique with it too !!!
TLDR; theres no real point to this post i just love speedsters and seeing the different types of superspeed that we’re getting is so c o o l
Hi HeyWriters! I was wondering: do you have a tip to create a weak point on main characters? I´m making a story, but I´m having trouble since my main character is TOO overpowered. Could you help me with this?
(All of this is written under the assumption your character has superpowers or “special” abilities, so forgive me if you meant a different kind of power.)
I created a character concept when I was twelve. She had all the superpowers of my favorite heroes and then some. As time wore on she gained more and more until eventually my adolescent brain invented logic and realized she was actually ridiculous. Here’s how I depowered this character, who’s name is Ace, without completely ruining her coolness.
Don’t be greedy. Any ability that does not contribute to the story needs to go. It’s taking up space that could be filled with credibility. I decided early on that Ace didn’t need most of her abilities, and by the end of the story she only relies on a few to get the job done. Also, if a character can do more than one thing that are all basically the same thing some of those should probably go (invisibility and camouflage, superspeed and teleportation, etc.).
Apply real-world science. If you try to make your depiction realistic, you’ll want to have an idea of how these abilities might work and how they might not. Of course, you should suspend disbelief for some things if they’re truly essential to your character, but others can be adapted. For Ace there are some powers that only work under the right circumstances, and others that her body rejects or that give her physical pain when she uses them. Most importantly, special strengths come with special weaknesses. Sensitive hearing means loud noises are more jarring or harmful, regeneration means metabolism speeds up and the person needs to eatas much as a body builder. Any superpower you pick out will have a drawback, I guarantee it; if not a physical one then a social one (I’ll get to that).
This scene from The Incredibles is an excellent demonstration of superpower drawbacks.
Consider how the character feels about all this power and why they obtained it in the first place.Ace was not born with abilities, but over time she chose certain powers for the purpose of defending herself or others. Some of her powers fade away when she stops using them, like any skill you fail to practice, and some abilities she just plain old refuses to use for personal reasons.
Some are too difficult or time-consuming for her to master, and some even trigger memories of her traumatic past thus she discards them.
This way she has a choice in the matter and her choice is not to bite off more than she can chew or what she doesn’t want in the first place.
How do other characters feel about all this power? Perhaps some or all of your character’s powers intimidate, frighten, or anger others in the story. One of Ace’s friends dislikes how unstoppable she is, and others are taken aback by some of the things she can do or how she looks when she does them. On the whole, she hides what she can do or picks small things to do instead of big things, downplaying her own power when necessary. How your supporting characters react to the force of nature that is your MC is the most important aspect of her power.
Here’s an example from the X-Men of how other characters might react.
Yes, Ace is a flawed concept and all the advice I just gave is only a patch kit for that flaw. However, overpowered characters continue to excite readers and viewers alike, so I would never suggest we dispense with them altogether. Just, when you’re getting a headache from how overwhelming your character is, it’s good to consider dialling it all back and focusing on the power of their personality instead.
Super apologize for taking so long to respond, and thanks for asking in the first place.
One of my sims is legitimately being stalked by her ex.
in the background is Bob Pancakes. He and Eliza are divorced and they
can’t stand each other. They separated before their child was born, Bob
moved out, and Eliza was going to raise their daughter alone without
letting her so much as ever meet Bob.
So I’m playing as normal,
and suddenly Bob just.. walks in through the back door. He does not live
here. I purposefully moved him to a smaller house across the street and
marked him as unplayed. Sims can’t just enter other people’s houses,
and there’s supposed to be an option to tell visitors either “Goodbye”
or “Ask to Leave”.
Bob has none of those options.
He did have a “Go Away” interaction, which made him wander off and stand on one of the balconies. I didn’t want him to interfere with this family, so I took precautions.
This gave me some time to think about my options.
I’d never intended to play him again, so I could just leave him trapped until he died. After a day had passed, occasionally checking on him, he was extremely stinky and only able to stand there playing games on his phone. I felt bad and instead told Eliza to quick travel to his house, with him in tow.
Entering his household to check on him, he immediately fell asleep on the pavement. Fine. He could take care of himself from there.
Switching straight back to Eliza, she carried on doing her single parent thing, meanwhile I locked the front and back door COMPLETELY to seal them inside the house for the time being. Eliza doesn’t have a career so there was no reason to even leave for the next day or so. I also added a lot trait for ‘Private Dwelling’ to reduce visitors. She and her toddler went to sleep, and when I tried to put the game on fast-forward, I realised it wasn’t doing the high superspeed it usually does when all Sims are asleep. There was nobody else in the house. Then I checked the back garden.
Bob was back. He had not showered. Unable to actually enter the house, he sat on the patio and wandered around all night long. The Pancakes house has a barbeque, so he continually made himself food on it. Since he has a food source he’s not capable of dying out there, even if he never leaves. He might stink and fall asleep on the ground, but with access to burgers, he can do this indefinitely.
The family ignored him. Because he is a Slob, and had nothing else to do, Bob rummaged through their garbage bin and created constant piles of rubbish, which he then stomped on and played in.
Switching back to Bob AGAIN, I made him return home. And this time, when I reloaded the family and watched him in front of his house in the same neighbourhood… he walked off screen and disappeared. He hasn’t been back and their daughter was able to unlock the doors for her birthday party.
But the next time I load the Pancakes house I have no way of knowing whether Bob will be pressed up against the windows looking in.
summary: Y/n mysterious moved back to her home town after staying away from years and she is not happy with it. As she tried to find some motivation to unpack her stuff, a piece of her past walks right int her apartment. Will their love rekindle? Or is it too late?
y/n groaned as she heaved the last box of her stuff in her new apartment. Back to sunny Central City huh? She sighed as the memories filled her lungs. She never thought that she will back to Central City. She thought her job at Star City was a solid platform, she thought that when she went to college away from home she would never have to come back. But here she was, and as she stands in her empty, unpacked apartment she can’t help but feel an ache coil in her chest when she thinks about how she last left things. How long has it been? Y/n doesn’t even know. She tried not to think about it, however, it’s a big city and she was sure that she will never have to bump into her old friends anymore. Instead, she tried to think about how she wants her room to look, in her mind, she rearranged all the furniture in her head. Unfortunate her thoughts were interrupted with a rap at the door. “Who can that be?” Y/n asked herself. She doesn’t remember inviting anyone over, and her parents were supposed to come visit tomorrow. y/n maneuvered around the cluttered of boxes and peeped through the peephole. y/n was too excited to pull open the door and bring her best friend into a big bear hug. “Felicity!” y.n screamed as the smart little blonde flew into her arms. “y/n!” She screamed back as she wrapped her arms around her best friend. “What are you doing here?” She asked as she pulled away from Felicity. “What? Can’t I help my best friend move away from cities away from me? Are you trying to get rid of me?” Felicity joked. Y/n laughed and rolled her eyes. “You know I would never Felicity.” She said. “Good, because you know it’s not that easy to get rid of me,” Felicity said as she pushed her way into y/n’s small apartment. “I love the new place!” Y/n laughed again and shut the door. “I’m sure it’s not all that when you’re used to living with THE Arrow.” Felicity blushed and waved her hands around. “I’m trying to complaint your place just take it.” y/n smiled. “Thank you. I appreciate it.” Felicity took in her surroundings of the small little surroundings. “You still haven’t unpacked.” y/n blushed and stood in the hallway awkwardly. “I’ve been busy looking for a job.” y/n lied. Truth to be told, y/n has been holding it off for a while, it has been a while since her move and it has been really depressed. She has lost everything from this move. Her job, her house, her boyfriend, Even her damn dog since her new landlord won’t allow pets. Wasn’t she allowed to be a little sad? Felicity didn’t believe her, however. “Well, would you like some help unpacking? I was planning a fun tour day with you and a friend that I know, but I can always force him to come over and help.” y/n looked like she was going to refuse, she wasn’t gonna make her best friend and some stranger help her unpacked weeks of stuff that she needs to put away. But then, Felicity pulled out a wild card, the card that she knows will always get y/n to agree with Felicity. “I could get my friend to pick up some pizza along the way.” y/n groaned and threw her head back, she tried to resist, but her stomach wouldn’t allow her too. “Argh fine! But I want to at least pay for the pizza.” Felicity smiled and pulled out her phone. “Deal, let me call my friend.” When Felicity walked into the other room to call whoever was coming over, y.n heard another knock at the door. Now who can that be? There is no way that, that can be who Felicity invited over, she was still on the phone with him. But when y/n opened the door, there was no one there. “Huh. weird.” “What’s weird?” Felicity said as she got off the phone. “It sounds like someone was at the door, but when I opened it, no one was there.” Felicity laughed, a little too weirdly. “That’s weird. It’s not like my friend flashed his was to the apartment only to leave or anything, you probably just imagined it.” y/n’s eyebrow lifted as Felicity started acting weird, we weirder than normal. “Ok then.” She said, brushing off the weirdness, “ Shall we start?” Felicity nodded furiously and looked down at the box next to her feet. “Where do you want these?” She asked as she tried to lift it up, but found it was too heavy for her to pick up, she couldn’t even pick it up with her knees. y/n hurried over to help her, “Um actually these are all my books and I would rather put this away from myself, I have a very complex system with my books and no offense, but I would rather do it myself.” Felicity took her hands off the book and laughed, “Don’t mess with your books. You have never changed.” Y/n smiled sheepishly as she put the books of to the side. “That’s right, no one is allowed to touch my books.” y/n joked, “But you are allowed to help me put the bookshelves together.” she offered as she gestured to the new bookshelves that need to be assembled. Felicity nodded, “If I can hack into any camera in this city, I can certainly figure out how to put together some bookshelves with instructions.” y/n laughed and dragged the boxes off into a nice clear opening on the floor so they can work in a nice clean area. “Alright, let’s do this thing!” y/n hyped as she ripped open the first flap.
20 minutes later, “Where is this shelf suppose to go?” Felicity asked as she tried to read the instructions. y/n held the shelf with her left hand, her right was holding the screwdriver. “I thought it was supposed to go into the slot a.” She said as she tried to figure out the complex Ikea furniture, why did she even choose IKEA? “No, but I thought it goes into slot b with the screws.” “Are you sure Fel? I mean it doesn’t even like the picture if we screw it together like that.” “No, no I’m sure that it was supposed to go like this see right here, it says shelf a needs to connect with slot b with a screw.” “No Fel it was supposed to do this-” “I’m here. And I bring pizza.” y/n froze as she heard the voice behind her door. No, it can’t be. Felicity sighed in relief as she slams the instructions down in on the ground.” Finally, I am starving!” She states as she pushes herself open from the floor. Y/m looked up at her cautiously. “Fel, who’s that?”” Fel looked back to her from the door, her hand just resting on the knob. “The friend that I told you about. He was going to give us a tour of Central City since now you are living here.” She twisted the knob and yanked the door open. “But know he is here with pizza and hopefully he can finally help us with this stupid bookshelf.” Y/n can feel her throat tighten as she saw the brown, tossed hair just behind Felicity. As Felicity was talking to her friend, y/n snuck into the bathroom very quietly. Behind the bathroom door, she can hear Felicity and her friend talking loudly in the empty living.room. “Y/n!” Felicity called out, “Huh, she must’ve gone to the bathroom or something.” “Where do you want this pizza?” “Just put it on the kitchen counter for now. I am going to go through all of the boxes to see if she has any plates to use.” y/n didn’t want to believe it at first but know that she can hear him clearer, there was no doubt that she knew who was out there. She took a deep and looked at the mirror above the sink. “Come on y/n stop being such a wimp and just go out there.” y/n tried to assure herself. As she looked her reflection. It wasn’t helpful, though, y/n took one good look at herself and all she wanted to crawl into a shell and die. She looked tired. Who can blame her really? She hasn’t slept very well in days and she wasn’t expecting company and she didn’t put on any makeup on. But there is no way y/n can quickly fix herself up when everyone is outside waiting for. She took a deep breath, letting the new air fill her lungs, exhaling out any last minute doubts that were residing in her chest. She opened up the door and decided to brave herself out of the bathroom. You can do this. You have to do this. “Y/n there you are!” Felicity cheered from the other end of the living room, she was on her third box for the search of the dishes. Y/n smiled and bent down to the box next to her feet. She opened up the flaps and held up a plate. “Looking for these?” y/n asked, wiggling the plate mockingly. Felicity sighed and closed the box. “Your stuff is like a maze.” She teased. “Honestly, you couldn’t even unpack the blankets?” y/n blushed a little. “I have a blanket. it ‘s on my bed.I just haven’t had a chance to unpack anything.” “Alright, so we have the choices of a meat lovers pizza and a pineapple with the mushroom pizza.” The friend said from the kitchen counter. Y/n’s heart stopped as she saw him through the cutaway wall that connected the living room from the kitchen. “Honestly, who ever order pineapple with mushroom is a little weird-” the figure stopped in his place as he noticed the familiar girl standing in the living room. “y/n,” Barry whispered. She gave Barry a small smile. “Nice to see you again Barry.” She greeted. Felicity got up from the floor and grabbed a plate to pile it with some pizza. “Barry, this is my friend y/n, she’s my best friend that I was talking about.” Felicity turned back to y/n, unaware with the sudden change of atmosphere between her two friends. “Y/n, this is my good friend Barry. I occasionally work with Barry with Oliver sometimes.” Barry and y/n didn’t move for a while. Felicity looked back at both of her friends.” I take it that you both know each other?” Felicity joked as she took a bite of her pizza.Barry was the first to react. “Yeah, y/n and I go way back,” he stated, smiling knowingly. y/n smiled back at him, kind of relieved that he didn’t seem to be bitter about how things were last left off. “Since high school.” y/n finished. That’s when Felicity’s analytical mind finally put the puzzle together. Honestly, Felicity wanted to kick herself that she couldn’t figure it out earlier. If she did figure it out before all of this, they can probably avoid all of the awkwardness in the air. “Oh my god,” she said, suddenly reacting to what is going on. “Oh my god you-” She pointed to Barry- “and you.” She pointed at her friend. She pointed at Barry again, “You are the boy that y/n was dating in high school.” She stated bluntly, she then pointed at her friend again. “And you’re the girl that left Barry at prom!” Y/n whipped her head back to Barry, anger and confuses filling her vision. “Is that what you told her?” Y/n asked, Barry looked like he was going to defend himself, but y/n wouldn’t let him. “You told her I left you at prom?” She asked. Barry was stammering for a response.” Did you forget to mention that it wasn’t even my choice?” Y/n stated. “Did you not forget that I had a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a free ride to the college that I have been pining over since I was 7 and I had to leave in order to meet with the dean for the first life-saving interview I have ever had?” y/n mentioned, obviously raised up from the that small comment. “I didn’t want to leave you Barry you know that. I came back to visit you whenever I could and yet you wouldn’t see me!” Barry looked at her, his face red from embarrassment. Y/n looked like she wanted to go on and lecture the pants off of Barry, but her stomach protested. Her stomach rumbling and growling through the awkward air, breaking everyone’s attention. “Why don’t y/n and I take a break from the stressful bookshelf while we have some a pizza snack while Barry takes a shot at the bookshelf.” Barry nodded, too eager to get away from y/n’s deadly eyes. He hurried to the spot where y/n and Felicity left the loose board and picked up the instructions on the floor. Felicity guided y/n away from the living room hallway and into the kitchen. y/n can still Barry look through the papers from the cutaway wall, but at least they were in different rooms. y/n sat at the small dining table that she had set up in the small area of the kitchen. “I am so sorry y/n if I knew I would have never have invited him over.” y/n shook her head. “It is not your fault Fel, you wouldn’t have known.” y/n just sighed. “I’ll just have to man up. Despite everything we have gone through, I just can’t give him the cold shoulder all the time. Like he did with me.” Fel nodded. “Well, I got the pineapple and mushrooms for you.” She said, handing her a plate of pizza. “You’re favorite.” She mused as she wiggled the pizza in front of y/n. Yn couldn’t help but smile and snatched the pizza out of her hand. “Give me that.” y/n said as she took a bite of her pizza. It took about 10 minutes for them to chat and eat pizza. They talked about her old job and the people back at Star City. When they finished their pizzas they discarded the plates in the sink and went back to the living room to see what was going on with Barry and the bookshelf. It took 10 minutes for them to finish eating, and apparently, it took 10 minutes for Barry to assemble not one, but all of the bookshelves and putting them against the wall. Barry smiled at the two girls astonished looks as he was picking up the trash that he left behind. “Took you guys long enough.” Y/n didn’t notice, but Felicity was giving Barry eyes that look like what the actual fuck man. Barry just shrugged as he looked at y/n’s astonished look. She brushed the bookshelves wood with the tips of her fingertips. “How did you-” “You guys must not be good at assembling furniture because that was a piece of cake.” He mocked. y/n looked back up at the top shelf. It was a little high, but thankful she was just tall enough to reach the top shelf if she tipped toed. “How did you remember my book order?” y/n asked. Barry smiled, “You basically implanted it in my brain when you had cleaning days in your small library in your old room. How can I forget?” Y/n lightly laughed and nodded her head. She remembers those days. Felicity smiled as she the two slowly get rid of the bitter feelings that they used to have. “Well, I am going to connect y/n’s computer and tv in her room. Maybe Barry can help you stack up all of your books. It might go a lot faster.” Barry looked back at Felicity. “Yeah, maybe we can get it down in a flash.” Felicity gave Barry a warning eye, as he just looked at her with a twinkling of playfulness, giving her a playful wink. Y/n, not knowing what is inside joke was being sided between Barry and Felicity, just agreed to the arrangement. Barry and y/n stacked the books together quietly, no one saying anything for a long time. Only the rustle of books scraping against the shelves was the only sound that filled the room. “So.” Barry was the first to speak. “What brings you back to Central City?” He asks. y/n shook her head. “ I lost my job.” She stated simply. “Where did you work at?” “I worked with Felicity at Kord Industries. And then I moved to Computer sciences and IT support for Oliver Queen about the same time Felicity started working with him, so Felicity and I have been working together since, forever.” Barry smiled “So that school did do wonders for you hasn’t it?” Y/n smiled, “I always knew it would.” Barry bit his lip, “So how’d you lose the job?” Y/n shrugged, “Honestly, it was for some bullshit reason Oliver gave me. He said there was something in Central City that needed me more then I needed him, but he didn’t tell me who or where and just fired me, giving me an apartment in Central City and left me to die out with the rats.” Y/n tried to say without sounding like she was angry, which was hard since she was indeed angry. Barry looked at her and couldn’t help but feel sorry for her. He can tell by just looking at her that she loved that job and that she was so pissed that she lost it. He can see it in her eyes, the fire of anger burning through her irises, and she can see it in her tense jaws as she clenched her teeth together. He can see it on her shoulders as it slumped sadly, drooping as she talked about her old job. She looked down at the book in her hands. “I lost everything, and left everything I loved back at Star City.” She stated, to no one in particular, she couldn’t even tell if she was just talking to herself. It took them a while, but barry and y/n were finally able to finish putting the books away, and thankfully they finished during the same time Felicity finished with the computer and TV. Felicity came out of Y/n’s room and nodded in approval as she looked at the living. “This place is starting to like a home now. Look at this place!” y/n smiled ass she looked at Barry. “I would have never had even started if you guys didn’t come over.” She said, “Thank you.” Felicity smiled. Barry looked down at his watch. “Oh crap, I need to go.” Y/n’s eyebrows scrunched together as she noticed his watch flash sporadically in urgency. Y/n wanted to question it, but Felicity interrupted and let him go, saying that she understood. It wasn’t until then that Y/n noticed the time. “Oh man, it is late. Yeah, Barry, you should be going if you need to.” Felicity smiled at both of them knowingly. “I’ll clean up over here, y/n, why don’t you show Barry out.” Felicity snuck in a wink at y/n, letting her know what Felicity’s true intentions were. Y/n knew that she wasn’t going to forget that. y/n glared at her but guided Barry to the door. “Thank you again for helping me today.” Y/n said as she opened her front door. “I would have never had the mental ability to do it myself.” Barry looked at her cautiously., he stood out in the hallway with his hands in his pocket. “This move is really taking a toll on you huh?” Y/n shrugged as she leaned against the door. “I was really liking Star City, and unboxing all of my stuff just feels final. Like there’s no going back.” Barry smiled at her. “Star City must have really dug its way in your heart.” Y/n laughed as she remembered all off of her adventures in the night as a vigilante, of course, she did not mention that to him. “It will always have a special place in my heart.” Just like you. Again, she obviously didn’t say that out loud. Barry looked at her. “Well, I hope that there still a little love for Central City in that heart of yours.’ Y/n smiled at him and pursed her lips. “Always.” She stated. Barry couldn’t help but look at her with a little longingly in his eyes. “It was really great to see you after all these years y/n. We should catch up again sometimes. Maybe some coffee at Jitters and a walk down memory lane.” Y/n nodded, “Now you finally want to catch up, after all, these years.” She asked, remembering all the failed attempts of trying to catch up with Barry and every time she was been rejected. Barry shook his head, “ I was young and stupid. But now I can see that there is an opportunity to right a wrong. Please y/n, would you accompany me at Jitters tomorrow for lunch?” Y/n contemplated it, but she finally agreed. Before they can continue on with their conversation, Barry’s watch started to flash again. Barry mentally groaned at Cisco’s bad timing. “Really have to go.” Y/n nodded before she let Barry run off she stood on her tiptoes and made a bold move. She didn’t know why she did it, but she lifted herself up to his face and kissed her cheek. “Goodbye, Barry.” She whispered before slipping back into her apartment. She breathed out as she closed to door behind her. Her head hitting the back of the door as she asked herself what the fuck is happening. Felicity was still in the living room and smirked at her best friend. y/n glared at her and jabbed a finger towards her. “Shut up Smoak.” Y/n threatened. Felicity held up her hands in surrender. “I didn’t have to say anything.” Y/n rolled her eyes and pushed off the door. “You didn’t have to.” She said. She sighed and grabbed a bottle out of the fridge. “I’m guessing you’re staying here for the night.” Felicity smiled at her. “ I already have my PJs on.” Y/n examined her best friend, and she did indeed have her pj’s on. Y/n mentally laughed. “Alright, I guess it’s a Netflix marathon night tonight.” y/n stated as she walked toward her room, Felicity following her. “What show is it tonight?” “I was thinking of maybe Sherlock.” “Again?” “What Sherlock is hot!”
ive been thinking abt things so heres a list of 100% Canon Bart Allen things that are Relatable and also we should talk abt more bc listen. Bart Allen is Autistic (and has adhd !! thats practically canon at this point i mean his name is impulse for fucks sake)
(Impulse, issue #7)
[caption: text bubble that says “And Inspiration to the empathically-challenged everywhere”]
this may not seem like the hugest deal but i think its super cool that one of the most fun and Cheerful and friendly characters in the DC universe who like, everyone calls super sweet all the time is “empathically challenged” (kind of crude wording imo but the point is !! bart allen has low empathy !!)
Difficulty Understanding Social Cues:
(also from Impulse #7)
[caption: a comic panel of a very pissed off carol bucken saying “don’t tell me, let me guess– you’re late because of something max forced you to do and he won’t let you tell me what it is or why.” to which bart responds with “you really do get it. cool”]
carol is pretty obviously pissed here, and bart takes it super literally and assumes she’s cool and understanding, it doesn’t seem like he can read her tone all that well !!!
Sensory Related Meltdown:
(Young Justice, issue #12)
[caption: comic panel of bart allen vibrating uncontrollably and looking very stressed out. he’s saying in an extremely panicked voice “cant.. had to go.. so fast.. having trouble… cant focus… cant… need max… wally… somebody.. help me bring it down… cant…”]
(context: Bart thought he could vibrate fast enough to get the whole team through a wall. and while he succeeded, it was super overwhelming and This Happened)
this ones not as blatant but honestly from my own experiences with sensory meltdowns/shutdowns this seems like a good representation of one ? (plus with added superspeed …)
(Young Justice, Season 2 Episode 12)
[caption: two gifs of bart allen tapping his hands and bouncing his leg]
i dont think this needs much of an explanation but just look at him go !!!
this got long bc of captions ! so TL:DR Bart Allen is autistic and has adhd and is fantastic
The first few times Lena makes Kara try terribly healthy food, Kara shoves it down, pretending to like it.
The next few times, Kara superspeed-slam-dunks the food into the trash when Lena isn’t looking. Or, alternatively, she burns it with heat vision and sends it back to the waiter. (Once, she froze it with freeze breath on the way to her mouth in a fit of panic about how gross it looked, but the confused and exasperated look on the waiter’s face made Kara vow to never do that again.)
Finally, after Lena confesses that she’s happy she gets to share so much of herself with someone who has so much in common with her, Kara feels so guilty about lying that she likes the same things as her that she tells Lena she’s been keeping a secret.
“Kara, dear… I know.”
“I mean. It’s kind of obvious. Well, not at first. But after a while, with a secret that big, you start to slip up.”
“Uh- Well, I never though it was that big of a secret.”
“It’s… kind of big, Kara. I mean, it’s a part of who you are.”
“I wouldn’t consider disliking healthy food to be that big a part of who I am…?”
“Disliking- Oh. No, Kara, I was talking about the real secret between us.”
“It’s okay. You can say it.”
“This is about… me being Supergirl?”
“What? You’re Supergirl? I thought you were telling me you’re bisexual!”

“So are you going to go to coffee with Barry?” Felicity asked as she spun around the chair that was finally put in its place. It took a while, but y/n and Felicity finally unpacked and settled in into y/n’s new place. And it’s been exactly a week since y/n has seen Barry, a week since Barry has invited her over for coffee, and exactly a week since y/n kissed Barry on the week.
y/n groaned as she put down the plate that she was cleaning. “I told you for the last time, Felicity, I don’t know if I want to do that. It’s like digging up the past that I do not want to touch.“ Felicity tilted her head, a twitch in her mouth made y/n think that she didn’t have much of a choice.
"You know generally I would give you a choice on the matter, but this time, I think you are just being silly.” Y/n threw her hands in the air in defense. “I’m not being silly Felicity, I just, I haven’t exactly forgiven him from the way we left things you know.” Y/n said, continuing on with the dishes.
“I mean can you blame me? I tried! I tried so hard to work with him, I tried to make amends by leaving him at prom.” Y/n sighed and started at the soapy water in the sink. “I didn’t want to leave things the way I did, I wanted to fix it, Felicity, I did, but, he wouldn’t let me.” Y/n slammed the cup she was washing on the drying tray.
“And no, all of a sudden, when I finally was close from moving on from that once mistake in my life that I regret the most, and he just waltz in my apartment like it was no big deal?” Y/n ranted, “I mean who does that!”
Felicity nodded her head again, “Barry’s changed, you have no idea. He is really trying to be the good guy.” Y/n scoffed. “Barry has always been the good guy Felicity, it’s just he made a lot of mistakes.” Y/n bit her lip. “ Some that I was not willing to forgive at the moment.” But just in that moment, there was a knock at y/n’s front door. She turned her head to the door, then back at Felicity, giving her the most venomous glare she has ever given her best friend. Felicity smiled.
“Well, now you have no choice.” She mused. Y/n looked at Felicity, “Please do not tell me you invited him over here!” Felicity gave her a mischievous look, “Fine, I did not invite him over.” Y/n let out a sigh of relief, a sigh that was a little too soon.
“I told him to pick you up here so you can have a coffee at Jitters.” Y/n groaned and ran her fingers through her messy hair. There is no way that she was anywhere close to ready to even leave the house, let alone go out for coffee. Felicity got up from the spinning chair.
“Don’t you dare over think this, I already planned ahead, so just march your little booty into that room of yours, slap on that pretty face of yours and shimmy into that outfit that I set up the outfit on the bed of yours.”
y/n’s eyebrow quirked up, “Shimmy?” Felicity shook her head and waved her hands around, “Don’t worry about my choice of words and get worried. I will distract Barry while you get ready.” Y/n continued to glare at Felicity but stomped her way over to her room anyways. She was for sure going to kill Felicity for the choice of clothes she picked out.
It took about 20 minutes for y/n to get ready, and she was hoping by the time that she finished, Barry would’ve gotten impatient and go away anyways, but y/n wasn’t that lucky.
“Felicity, I am going to kill you for the choice of top, I am seeing Barry not going to a strip-” She stopped when saw Barry in the living room. Barry was sitting comfortable on the couch, but when he took when the glance at Y/n walking down the hallway, he was compiled to get up, he shot up from the couch, almost floored from y/n’s appearance.
It was stunning, she was stunning. Barry always that y/n was beautiful, gorgeous even, but somehow after all these years, it’s like it amplified. He knew that everyone changes over the years, but it was at that moment when he realized that y/n really did change over the years. It rendered him speechless, his throat was actually dry from her beauty.
She looked at him shyly, she pursed her lips, biting her bottom lip as she stands uncomfortably underneath his stares. “Wow, y/n.” Was all that Barry was able to muster out. Y/n tried to hold in her blush, no one has looked at her like that in, well, Barry was the only one that looked at her like that. “Hi, Barry.” They stayed silent for a while, not sure who should make the next move, it was Felicity that broke the silence.
“Alright, you two crazy kids should be heading off to your date now.” Barry and y/n looked at each other, stuttering as they tried to protest. “It’s not a date.” Y/n said. “We’re just catching up.” Barry finished. Felicity gave both of them a knowing eye as she opens the door wide open.
“Whatever you say, all I know is that there are two cups of coffee calling your name down at Jitters, so you should hurry up before they get cold.” Y/n just laughed at her friend as she exited out of the apartment, Barry not falling too far behind her. The door was promptly shut behind them, startling the both of them. They both looked at each other and laughed on how odd this date was going, and it hasn’t even started.
“Well, I guess, after you.” Barry offered, gesturing his hand in front of him. y/n gave him a closed mouth smile, “Well what a gentleman.” Barry grinned at her, his dimples showing off the happiness that was seeded in his stomach. “Of course my lady.”
“Cookies are still your go-to food item huh Allen.” Y/n teased as she heard Barry’s order, “I will never change my mind about cookies y/l/n.” He shot back, handing the cashier the money for his order. “Do you still stand by your unhealthy diet of hamburger helpers?” He joked, “The disguising ones with the fake hot dogs in them? Congrats on not dying after high school, by the way, it’s still a mystery on how you survived off of that diet.” Y/n laughed, “No Barry, thankful for me that habit stayed in high school.”
Barry playfully clapped his hands, congrats her on her healthy life choice. “I am so very proud of you.” Y/n laughed and smiled. She was about to shoot back a playful banter, but the cashier caught her eye first.
“And what would you like Miss?” The cashier asked. Y/n was too busy talking to Barry that she didn’t take the time to even think about her order. She quickly scanned the menu board and blurted out the first drink that popped out to her.
“I’ll just have the Flash please.” Barry tried so hard to cover up his surprise, it caught him off guard and for a second he even forgot that there was a drink named after his superhero counterpart. The cashier grinned and rang up her order. Before y/n even got a chance to pull out her wallet to pay the employee, Barry slapped down a twenty dollar bill on the counter. “Keep the change,” Barry said. The cashier took the bill without a second thought and ran off to get their orders.
“You didn’t have to do that.” Y/n stated as she adjusted the purse hanging on her shoulder. Barry shrugged, “What kind of gentleman would I have been if I let you pay for it yourself?” Y/n just rolled her eyes. It didn’t take long for the employee to come back with two freshly prepared cups of coffee and a nice warm chocolate chip cookie.
“Here you go.” She announced, playing their order on the counter. “Have a nice day!” They both grabbed their drinks and headed outside. “Where to know Allen?” Y/n asked, taking a sip of the flash. Surprisingly, it was delicious, this might be her go-to drink for now on.
“I thought we can take a walk in the park for a couple of minutes.” He suggested, “You know, so we can catch up.” y/n nodded in agreement. “If you’re talking about the park that we used to go to as kids, I would love it. Lead the way.” Barry held out his arm for her to grab, and she gladly accepted it.
“Wow, the park has really changed huh?” Y/n noticed. Long gone was the wooden play set that made it feel like you were managing a pirate ship. It was now replaced with a carefully designed play set that looked like there was no way on getting hurt on it. It also looked like there was no way any kid could have fun on it.
“Yeah, they really child proofed it every since you left. It’s particularly a padded cell. God forbid anyone to get hurt on it.” Barry commented. y/n’s eyes lit up when she remember the time someone did indeed break something on this very spot. “Unlike the great Barry Allen who broke his leg. Guess they should have child proofed it then too.” She joked, lightly teasing him. Barry laughed and looked down at his feet in embarrassment. “And I was starting to hope you had forgotten about that.”
“There was no way I would forget something like that,” Y/n claimed, “ It was certainly a sight to see.”
“Hey, I’m sure I wasn’t the only seventeen-year-old who has broken their leg on a swing set.” Barry defended. Y/n hissed through her teeth, “Aren’t you, though?” Barry laughed again. “Well, you weren’t very helpful either! You couldn’t help but laugh it up when you were trying to quote on quote help me.”
Y/n tried not to spill her coffee through her fits of laughter, “I was trying to make you feel better and not think about the pain in your leg.” Barry rolled his eyes and bit his tongue on the corner of his mouth. “Oh, my hero.” Y/n slightly pushed him playfully. “But really. You were pretty great that day.” He commented, “You even managed to keep Joe and Iris calm, which is a miracle, to say the least.” Barry’s eyes trailed off as he thought about that moment. “You were always their favorite.” He stated his voice quieter that time.
They trailed off into silence after that, y/n can feel that the past was affecting them and she wasn’t sure how to handle it. She loved that she can still talk to Barry so comfortable after all these years, and thinking about the past was nostalgic, to say the least, but she couldn’t deny that it felt different.
Y/n almost forgot about the strange feeling that was growing in her stomach when she noticed they were walking down an all too familiar trail down into the forest. She grabbed Barry’s arm suddenly when she noticed the tree that they used to hang out around right in front of her. “Oh my god Barry.” She said, “Can that really be our dream?” She asked. Barry looked at what she was talked about, his grin almost wanting to jump out of his face when he notices that it was, in fact, their tree. “No way.” he breathed out, “I thought for sure that it would’ve been cut down by now.” Y/n smiled at it, she looked up at Barry, curiosity swimming in her eyes.
“Do you think it’s still there?” She asked. Barry shrugged, “There’s only one way to find out.” He suggested. He walked towards the tree, following off the trailing as he walked around it. There it was. Like a glowing symbol. Carved into the bark of the tree was their initials, encased in a heart. Barry laughed at how cheese they used to be.
“Wow.” Barry breathed out, “It’s still there.” Y/n looked at it and laughed, “What a cliche that is.” She joked. But it wasn’t a cliche, not to her at least. Not at the time, and certainly not know. She bit her lip as she was trying to form something to say, but she couldn’t. Looking at it now made her remember just how special that time in her life was. All the familiar feelings and the sting of rejecting came flooding back into her. She shook her head and looked away from it as if looking at it any longer will make her have an overflow of feelings.
Barry was feeling the exact same thing y/n was feeling, he knew he was stupid on pushing her away from the way he did back then. But looking at the carving on the wood now, just reminded him on how much he vowed to change what he had done. He just didn’t have a chance until now.
Y/n cleared her throat. “Well it was really nice catching up with you again Barry but-” But she was interrupted but a pair of soft, familiar, lips that pressed against hers. Her heart almost wanted to burst out as Barry kissed her suddenly, his large hands cradling her head.
He kissed her and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. His hand rested below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled. She carded her fingers in his hair, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest.
And then, they pulled away. The kiss ending almost as fast as it started. y/n stammered as she tried to think about what she was going to say, but it was like his kissed as numbed her mind.
“I should probably get going.I should- I should probably get going.” she finished, her tone was breathless, almost like she forgot how to speak. She looked up at Barry’s welcoming, warm, ocean blue eyes. She smiled as his eyes captured hers. “But here is good.” Barry smiled as he leaned down to give her another kiss, but Cisco yet again has really bad timing. He mentally groaned his phone went crazy in his pant pocket.
“I am so sorry y/n.” He apologized, leaning away, even though every atom in his body wants nothing more but to get closer to her. “But I have to go. Work needs me.” And never until now has work been an inconvenience to him. Y/n’s eyes flicker down to the ground. She tried to hide her disappointment. “No, no I totally get it. Go, do your thing.” She said. Barry pursed his lips together until a brilliant plan popped into his brain. “Hey, Iris is having a dinner on Friday with a couple of friends of mind. You should come.” Y/n looked back at Barry.
“Really?” She asked, “Are you sure?” Barry nodded, he was more than sure. “Yeah, I would love for you to met my new friends and Iris and Joe have been dying to see you again after I mentioned you were back in town.” Y/n smiled wide as she nodded eagerly. She would want nothing more to see Iris again for sure.
He smiled as she agreed. “Alright, great, I will see you then I guess.” Y/n nodded again. She turned around to the direction of her home, only to realize she didn’t get any details. She turned back around to ask Barry where should she met him, but he was already gone. Her eyebrows knitted together.
That was weird. She thought to herself but thought nothing of it. It must’ve been important that he had to hurry. She shrugged and walked her merry little way back home. A new little hop in her step as she felt the happiness warm through her body.
This Virtual Season begins where season 2 episode 2 left off. Above is a refresher on what had just happened…
Are you sitting comfortably? Then we shall begin.
His hand clamped around her throat. Kara barely got a gasp out before her airway was closed off and she was airborne, the man she’d been consoling turning on her with a speed to nearly rival her own. The medical bay whipped by as he flung her over him and through a pane of glass, shattering it into a million pieces.
Stunned, Kara picked herself up as the alarms began to shriek, shards of glass sliding off her suit and cape as she got her feet under her. Their newest guest at Hotel DEO was proving an ungrateful one, and worse, had already made a break for it before they knew who he was or what he could do.
“So much for being nice,” Kara grumbled, using a burst of superspeed to propel herself out of the medical bay.
Their patient was bare-chested and sweating, tossing agents left and right. His movements were jerky but dangerous as he awakened to a new reality of having superpowers. Kara took a step toward him only to see Alex chasing him with a huge gun. Her sister drew up, shouting out a warning as he ran toward the launch pad doors. They parted welcomingly as he tripped the proximity sensors.
Alex fired, a wide streak of red light fanning out from the muzzle of the gun, striking him as he began his leap to freedom. He faltered, tumbling back to the ground, and Kara shook off the last of her shock to stop him.
Alex knows that a cupcake isn’t enough, not for Kara’s appetite or for the level of damage to her feelings. It had been tough to choke back revulsion long enough to pretend that the alien frat boy might be a viable option, but thankfully Kara had been talked off that ‘complicated’ subject pretty quickly. She’d all but chased Alex out of the door before midnight, unheard of for their late night gossip sessions.
You’re reading a book when the red blur just appears in your room. You close your book, lean back, and grin. Barry pulls the hood down and smiles at you. The goofy grin makes you laugh, “So how’s it feel to be back in the leather?”
He laughs, “Sweaty.”
You wiggle your eyebrows, “Well, now I’m hot.”
He removes his gloves, “Yeah?”
You put your book down and crawl down the bed before launching yourself off it, and into his arms. He catches you with ease. You kiss him, and take comfort in the way his arms wrap around you. With a giggle, you fall back onto the bed with him.
Hours later, in the dark of your room, you’re snuggled against Barry’s chest, while his hand strokes lazily against your back. You’re more than a bit drowsy, but still curious, “So, did you see everyone?”
“Oh yeah, the whole team was there.”
Barry places a kiss on the top of your head, “Yeah. I couldn’t even look him in the eye, much less talk to him. In fact I made it a point to only talk to Oliver. I’m such a…”
He chuckles a bit, “That’s a nice way of putting it.”
You place a kiss on his chest, “Well lucky for you, I’m a cat person.”
“It was nice to get some closure.”
He nods, “Yeah, now that Wally has superspeed, Central City is safe, and I can give up the superhero thing for good.”
You don’t quite believe that, but as he pulls you a bit closer, the two of you drift off to sleep. You wake up to the sound of the doorbell being repeatedly rung. Without opening your eyes, your feel around for a pillow, and pull it over your head.
When the noise continues, you pull your head out from under the pillow and glance at Barry. Your husband is fast asleep. Rolling your eyes, you toss the covers to the side. You pull on your nightgown, and then a robe. You trudge to the door, but not before you catch sight of the clock. Your eye twitches when you see 5 am staring back at you.
You glance out the window to see a group of people waiting outside, and right as one of them reaches for the doorbell again, you unlock the door and yank it open. “Yes?”
A taller man in the back, that you recognize as Oliver Queen, smiles at you and says, “Mrs. Allen.” You watch the shock wash over several faces.
You wipe a hand over your face, “You couldn’t have waited a few more hours?”
Another man steps forward and offers his hand, “Sorry about the early hour, I’m Joe West, Barry’s… ”
“Dad,” You smile and take his hand, shaking it before stepping to the side, “I’m sorry, I’m not a morning person. Please come in, all of you. Barry’s still asleep. Make yourselves at home while I go wake him.”
You leave them, and go back to the bedroom. Crawling back onto the bed, you take the pillow and hit your husband. He startles awake and just stares at you. He cracks a smile at you a moment later, “What did I do now?”
“You have company.”
His brow furrows, “Company?” and leans over to glance at the clock, “It’s 5:15 in the morning, who would … Oh no.”
“Oh yes. They’re waiting for you in the den.”
“They’re in the den!?”
You blink a few times, “And that’s a problem, why?”
“Our wedding photos are out there.”
“I’m trying to be panicked for you hun, but you’re making it a bit hard.”
He takes a deep breath, “I didn’t tell them I was married. I didn’t want to get caught up in a conversation, and so …”
“You ran away.”
He sits up, “Pretty much.”
You snuggle in beside him, “Why do you always have to run Barry, why can’t you ever just walk?”
He smiles and kisses the top of your head, “The whole meta human thing makes it a bit difficult.”
You yawn, and then pat his chest, “Well time to run towards the problem now, Speedy.”
“That’s Thea, hun.”
“Whatever, just go.” With a sigh he leaves the bed. You’re almost back to sleep, when a weight lands on top of you, “Come with me?”
You turn to face your husband, “Seriously? It’s five thirty in the morning on a Saturday. I shouldn’t be aware of anything other than my pillow.”
He smiles at you, “For better or for worse.”
You scowl, “Fine.”
Five minutes later, you’re somewhat presentable, as you walk into the den with your husband. You pass by the crowd and head straight for the coffee maker.
You stare at the coffee maker and wait for it to brew. You listen to Barry talk to Joe, and the others. But you’re honestly not awake enough to really catch anything. When it’s done you pour yourself a cup, and walk back into the den. All eyes go to you.You give a small akward smile and say, “Coffee’s ready. Mugs are in the cabinet above the maker, help yourselves.”
There’s a bit of a migration to the kitchen, as you take a seat in the oversized arm chair. Barry shuffles nervously near you.
You smile at him, “Things a bit awkward?”
He nods, “More than a bit. It’s just really weird.”
“Like you’re getting to know each other again?”
He runs a hand through his hair, “Yeah, They know nothing about the past several years. Or you for that matter.”
You take a sip of coffee, “Fill them in.”
“You think it’s that simple?”
You reach out and take his hand, “I think it can be.”

IN case you have missed it. There are the other parts.
Authors note: Here it is! I know it has been a while but it is here, thank ou for reading I know part 3 didn’t do so well, but part 4 should bring back hope that Barry and you, the reader have a chance. ;)
If you can travel at superspeed, you’re brain and senses have to be able to process information faster, otherwise by the time you realise there’s wall in front of you, you’ve already crashed into it.
As the brain processes faster, you must be able to think faster. If you can think faster than everyone else, assumedly you can learn and work through problems faster than everyone else as well. So does that mean all people with superspeed can be classified as super smart?
small authors note: i gave you and pietro three kids. gender/names are not specified so that is all how your mind picks it up; for the kids i used their ages to specify which one i was talking about and use “they/them” pronouns
Pietro would be so happy his kids like sports
It’s even better if they like to run track/cross country
let’s say you and pietro have three kids
And, obviously, he is all about the running and making sure to work out because running!is!fun!!!!
even if you don’t like it, somehow it get’s passed down to your kids
but you don’t argue
at least they’re outside being active
and not staying inside watching tv shows excessively and on the computer for hours at a time
(HAHA who am i kidding my kids will have a tumblr from day one)
but they’re making friends from it
and they enjoy it
and they’re very hyperactive i mean look at pietro he’s hyper in itself of course your kids are like him, too.
so it’s getting all that energy out
FORGET “SOCCER MOM” he is the ultimate soccer dad
because nearly every kid starts out playing soccer (even i did…and now look at me)
he will volunteer to bring all the snacks and water for the kids
then after the season ends he will throw a huge party
sometimes he gets to have it at stark tower if tony is out of town
dont tell tony
he cant know
BUT THE KIDS LOVE HIM EVEN IF PIET IS A LIL CRAZY
he wishes he were the coach but with this superspeed thing it would be hard for the children to understand and he kinda has this whole “saving the world” thing on his shoulders so its probably not the best idea for him to do that
he is standing on the sidelines at every game
he is screaming for your kids team to get the ball
“RUN JUST A LITTLE FASTER, SON, YOU GOT THIS, DO IT LIKE I TAUGHT YOU! YES! YES! KICK IT IN THE GOAL! YOU ARE THE MAN! HELL YEAH!”
“pietro please don’t swear in front of the kids.”
pietro has gotten so into he’s sworn so much that he’s been asked to leave
pietro would be so hype to go to every. single. game.
Stark needed him for something? It can wait until after the game.
Cap needs him on a mission? He’ll be there once the game is over.
“Pietro, your kids will have a million games. You can miss this one.”
“They aren’t going to be this small ever again, I’m not missing the game. You are not my top priority, my kids are.’
fast forward a few years so we can talk about other sports than soccer
all throughout elementary school the eldest kid decides to stick with soccer and is really good at it
the middle kid ends up deciding soccer is not for them and picks up a bat ready to frickin hit that ball out of the park even if they are super small they still get home runs, and the youngest decides they like basketball.
and just because pietro is getting older does not mean he is getting any less hype. he will be hype all his life. he is pietro maximoff.
more years pass because there are more sports options as you get older so:
lets say now you and pietro have a sophomore (15-16 y/o), a eighth grader (13/14 y/o), and a seventh grader (like 12?)
in highschool the eldest is still sticking with soccer because they’re a fast runner and are really good, plus a bunch of their friends are still on the team and its really fun
BUT THEY ALSO DECIDE THEY WANT TO RUN CROSS COUNTRY
pietro almost cries when they come home saying they want to join the team
“I’ve been waiting for this day to come”
“dad, are you crying?”
“He’s just happy, dear, you know he loves to run.”
“but it’s…it’s just cross country…I’m not even on the team yet.”
“Let him have this…it’s better that way”
AND YOU THOUGHT PIETRO WAS INSANE WITH SOCCER? YOU HAVEN’T EVEN SEEN HIM AT A CROSS COUNTRY MEET. HE IS THE ONE YELLING THE LOUDEST FOR HIS KID, CHEERING THEM ON, SCREAMING WHEN HE CROSSES THE LINE
“yn i am so fucking happy they like running wE CAN ENTER MARATHONS TOGETHER BABE”
“im happy for you pietro”
and when the middle child is in 8th grade (13/14 y/o) they make the baseball/softball team
so now they’re not in a random team outside of school this one is with the school
pietro loves to help throw the ball for them to hit back and run around the backyard
yes, the child and pietro have broken so many windows you have found non shattering glass
they still break it
but hey thats how the kid hits the home runs
the amount of balls on your roof though
there are so many.
one day it gets to window out and everyone is at the table eating dinner and all the sudden like fifteen balls go past the window
“DAD THEY’RE BACK! WE CAN HIT EVEN MORE NOW!”
“please stop hitting them on the roof”
“THATS HOW WE KNOW THEY’RE GONNA ROCK AT THE GAME, YN, LET US HAVE THIS!”
there is no stopping pietro
okay and your youngest child is not as into sports as the other two, but really likes basketball
they don’t want to be on the school team, they like the community team better and have more friends there
the youngest is more introverted and quiet and at school, very shy, so they like to do a lot of reading and writing and you best bet they have a wattpad and a tumblr and an ao3
so when people from school hear that the youngest maximoff will literally scream on the court, no one believes it because no one from the school is on the community team and doesn’t think young maximoff is capable of screaming
one day they’re invited to play at recess
and damn, young maximoff makes everyone’s eyes go wide when they get on the court
because they have skills
young maximoff knows what they’re doing
young maximoff will call someone out if something is wrong
young maximoff is not afraid to yell
young maximoff is a really good shot
but dang when recess is over and they go back to being their shy selves, people still want to talk to them and get to know them
and before they know it, young maximoff is asked to play basketball everyday
PIETRO IS SO EXCITED
BECAUSE HIS BABY IS FINALLY GETTING OUT THERE AT SCHOOL
EVEN IF THEY AREN’T ON THE SCHOOL TEAM, WHO CARES
THEYRE STILL PLAYING AT LUNCH
AND PIETRO IS SO EXCITED TO HEAR ALL THE STORIES FROM YOUNG MAXIMOFF AND THE SPORT
to wrap this up pietro loves his kids and is so so so so so so supportive and loves to watch them run around the field (or on a track) and is very pleased.
now he’s just waiting for the day one of them comes home saying “uh, mom, dad, i can run…really fast…like dad…”
because bruce told them since the power is in pietro’s dna it’s a possibility that the kids could have the power, too
but until then, you and pietro will watch from the sidelines with big smiles on your faces
