Batman: *walks into the Watchtower’s Hall of Justice*

Batman: *narrows his eyes* Hn.

Batman: *slowly turns on the light*

Everyone: SURPRISE, BRUCE!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! *confetti explosions, colorful bat-shaped balloons, tooting horns*

Batman: *wide-eyed, open-mouthed, and motionless*

Wonder Woman: *checks him for a pulse*

Superman: *whispers in his ear* I know it’s your specialty, but let’s try not to overthink this one, okay?

Aww, you guys! Don’t scare him like that.

Mon- el is a dick.

Okay so, I’m watching Supergirl because I’ve only seen three episodes where Barry Allen and Superman show up, and I wanted to catch up on Netflix because I want to watch season 3 as it comes out.

While I’m still watching season 2, I just need to talk about some things I like and don’t like about the show.

1. Melissa Benoist as Supergirl - I love Melissa Benoist as Kara/Supergirl. (But I am basis toward Melissa because she’s from the same town and state that I’m from. #Coloradopride.) She is happy and has bubbly, fun loving personality, but she is also strong and authoritative when she needs to be. She and Superman personify that symbol of hope on their chests, and I think we all need a little hope these days. Which brings me to my next point.

2. Tyler Hoechlin as Superman - I’m 100% percent convinced that this dude was born to play Superman. I was grinning ear to ear whenever he was on screen. He embodies the charm and the boy scout nature of Superman and the fumbly behavior of Clark Kent better than any actor since Christopher Reeve in the 70’s.

3. The family relationships - I love the sisterhood between Kara and Alex along the protective parental bond between J'onn, Alex and Kara because they all support one another. (Which is more than I can say for someone, but I’ll get to him later.) I’m surprised that J'onn didn’t go down to courthouse and adopt the Danvers sisters as his own.

4. The ships: supercorp and sanvers - I was supercorp trash long before I ever watched the show and I still am, they bring out the best in each other. I’m glad Alex came to terms with herself and found Maggie, Alex needed someone to confide in and care for beside her sister. They make each other happy and that’s all that matters.

5. Drunk Kara in season 2 episode 6.

6. MON FUCKING EL - to be fair, I don’t hate the actor playing mon-el, he plays a good dick. But that’s all mon-el is. Mon-el is a walking dumpster fire of a disaster and Kara is too good of a person to be with him. She deserves better, like Lena Luthor. (I am prepared to go down with the ship.)

Okay, it’s like 5:30 in the morning and I need some sleep.

Jazz scares the shit out of the League. She puts on a pretty nice front when Danny's around, but the second he's gone, she grabs Superman's ear and tells him that if Danny gets hurt, she'll do anything it takes to kill him and anyone else who was supposed to protect him. Later, the League's fear of Jazz is compounded when they learn she got the highest score in the history of the C.A.T., locked her mom in a closet to protect Danny's secret, and almost got away with infiltrating Vlad's lair.

Nice. I would love to see that.

Okay, so I’m, like, really suuuuuuper late to the party but I finally got to see “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” (Ultimate Edition) tonight and something that honestly surprised me was how well I thought Ben Affleck handled playing Bruce/Batman.

He definitely had the bulk and size the part called for…

And, yeah, then there was this, too. I’m shallow, what can I say? ;)

I knew I’d love Henry Cavill because, well, I already love his Clark/Superman…

…but Ben surprised me by holding his own. Which was a hard sell because, like, 97% of the movie is him trying to KILL my beloved Clark/Supes, so I was fully prepared to curl my lip at him through most of the movie. ;) The fact that I could still feel for him, even at the times when I was thinking, “Bruce, c’mon, man! Don’t be a jerk!” definitely says a lot!

So, yay! Well done! \o/

Binkyful bunnies are the best bunnies!

(a bunny will binky when they are really really happy- they will jump off with their hind feet and twist and wriggle their bodies at high speeds, sometimes without even meaning to. If you see a bunny doing this, it just means they’re telling you they are so very happy! If you have a spare few minutes, watch some binky bunny videos on youtube; they are sure to put a smile on your face!)
