So Actual Real Life Haruka Tenoh and I went to Düsseldorf over the weekend for Japantag! And we wear mostly focused on the Japanese food, haha. After flying on Friday we had excellent ramen at My Noodlehouse.

On Saturday, we had breakfast at Bakery My Heart, which was super yummy.

We did see Venus, Jupiter, Serenity, Pluto (with her boyfriend and I was like “not authentic”) and some attempts on Moon – I say attempts because I saw one with actual yellow wool in her brown hair (I was freaked out but ARLHT told me at most cons there’s like one girl with a wool-cosplay). (Yes, treat cosplay like canon but. Just do a brown-haired Moon, no one would mind. Just saying.) We did see exquisite cosplays of Luna and Kakyuu tho, I very much liked those.

And no, I wasn’t cosplaying because we not only faced hot hot heat, but also terrible rain, stormy winds and even hail. After sushi lunch at Maruyasu we escaped to our hotel room at the Japanese hotel Nikko to cuddle. We went back for frozen yoghurt at Sugarbird Cupcakes and shaved ice (just like Anthy’s <33), also to buy ARLHT a perfect new shirt and look at the shoes at Office London.

On Sunday it was even more rainy and stormy and we went out to walk along the Rhein towards the Japanese Garden, which was set up in 1975 and looks super beautiful.

We were happy to have nice, nice sun when we got back on Sunday eve. We even saw two B-list celebrities at the airport (Panagiota Petridou and Rach der Restauranttester), haha!

Birthday Breakfast! 🎈💝🎁
My birthday started with breakfast at Bib & Tucker with clubathletica, My Boy and Mel - three of my best people! We were all a bit slow to get going - cappuccino get in me!

Breakfast was super-yummy. I had ‘Middle-Eastern Eggs’ - there are eggs, peppers, hommus, and tomato under those mint and coriander leaves - and the flat bread was flavoured with fennel.

A windblown group selfie in the salty fresh air wound up the morning. Feeling a bit more lively!

This is what I made this evening. It is super delicious!  Almond Pound Cake

A refugee of an interstellar war!
But now he’s at, your local grocery store!

so I just got home from the gym, and it started raining on my way home so I walked like 20 minutes in the rain 😭😭 but I just had a super yummy lunch! So it’s all good :-) planning on spending the rest of the day chilling out, maybe doing a spot of yoga before dinner, too!!

Send me questions for my Q&A with my boyfriend! Veganism/travelling/Christianity/future plans/yoga/weightlifting/food/anything at all!!

Another heart headpiece is finished, this time in violet with a spider that sits slightly elevated on its’ cosy beaded net. The colour proved very difficult to photograph, so what you see now is not the exact right shade. (In reality it is closer to dark lilac/dark amethyst.)
I found it very amusing how many people thought this was a cookie or a cake when I posted WIP photos, so I’d like to point out that this is indeed a felt hat. (Though it does look super yummy.)

(I also just noticed my photo editing program had decided to glitch again while editing this photo so there are spots were the colours are all off. Didn’t notice that until I switched devices. Sorry about that. I’ll get them all fixed and proper next time.)
