I’m a photographer, and was working with a super sweet couple. Everything was normal up until the cocktail hour. My partner and I were setting stuff up for the reception, and the groom comes up to us and asks the DJ if he can play a video for his wife. We assume it’s some cute slideshow or something.
Toasts happen, then the video starts to play. Turns out the bride was sleeping with the best man, and the video was from a PI. The whole room went silent. Bride runs out, best man goes to follow her, groom’s father punches best man out.
Everyone else ended up staying and having a great party. Super nice people, I ended up shooting the groom’s second wedding.
I asked him why we went though with it, apparently they had a prenup. At the time of divorce, if adultery could be proven, the offending party owed the other 15k.
Sometimes, a person just needs to vent. They don’t need advice. They don’t need to be told what to do or how to handle it. There’s a massive chance that they already know. They just need someone to listen and say “I understand” or “it’s gonna be okay” without judging them. It’s really pretty simple and I wish people understood this more. I’m glad I did.
I'm sad you finished the Bokuroo week, you draw them so rarely now and I just miss my boys so much
anon please don’t try to guilt trip me into drawing more bokuro that’s kinda very rude I realize no one really reads tags so I’m gonna just say it here again - as I mentioned before, this period is really damn busy for me because for whatever reason all my fandoms and ships have decided to hold their ship weeks all together in the span of 20 days and I’m a sucker for this kind of events which means I wanna participate in everything and end up being unable to put actual effort in everything else for a while
THAT SAID how productive I am with a specific ship depends a lot on how much they’re appearing in the main story (currently in the bokuros’ case it’s a very pretty round zero), how responsive/respectful the fandom is when I do post about them (the bokuro fandom is amazing!!! Everyone around it that still keeps on trying to make it about other ships and turn my art into something it’s not supposed to be, not so much) and how much content for said ship I can consume through the fandom/how easily accessible it is (there’s very little content for bokuro in general and try and look for stuff in the tags it’s all about other ships/ot3s or ot4s/unrequited or past-relationship/tagged-but-only-as-brotp)
I really, really, really love that ship a whole damn lot still, trust me, but when I have so little inspiration coming from anything that could give it to me and at the same time I got other ships making me super creative, I’m naturally bound to produce less for it. I’m not abandoning it, I’m just asking you to be patient when my creativity doesn’t happen to be focused on them for a while
With just two days left to register to vote in the UK election (and no sign of even the mildest pro-registering message from any member of One Direction), I want to draw attention to Gemma’s political awareness and commitment, because she’s changed just while I’ve been a fan. She’s been doing a lot of work encouraging young people to register to vote and tweeted this:
She was also part of the best One Direction related political conversation this election (or indeed ever). From Antonio Pignone’s (Harry Lambert’s boyfriend) instagram:
(Antonio Pignone’s instagram is like the second most reliable source of joy in the 1D fandom - after snapchats of Doris and Ernest. I can’t recommend it enough).
A little bit more peripheral, but Danny DeVito has also been commenting (it’s the hashtag that makes this one:
Have I missed any political comments from those associated with 1D? Good or bad. It’s going to be hard to top Antonio Pignone and Gemma, but nobody else even seems to be trying.
i feel like this is the only one that would cooperate with tumblr since the others are full length videos but the concert was so fucking amazing and afterwards we met all of them, i repeat, all. of. them. it was totally worth the wait to stand out in the cold for ages to meet them and i really hope we can do it again soon. ps- i’ll post my pics with them later!
Sleepover Saturday I've got like no friends tbh no exaggeration, just people i talk to sometimes and it kinda sucks a lot but being in the BMC fandom kinda makes me feel like i've got a lot of friends??? At least sometimes it feels like that. But yeah!! this show means a lot to me
aaa!! yea same, i get that from some shows sometimes and it’s rlly nice, i’m super glad bmc can do that for you
So I’m not super great at coming to people to ask for help
In fact I’m really bad at it
But at this point I’m kinda desperate so
I don’t have a pretty commissions post yet and won’t be have one for a few weeks
But I need to make some money before my parents decide to kick me out in my ass
I have no where to go if that happens y'know?
My IM is open and so are my asks if anyone is interested in commissioning me
I do talk sprites, paintings, chibis, ship art
I’m good at mecha and gore and I do more than just fantrolls I’m still learning how to do anthro stuff but I’ll try my best
I’m open to do Sin art for people who can prove they’re 18+
Me watching latest My Hero Academia:
Man I love this series so much! The positive messages, inspiration, and lessons are uplifting and help me want to be a better person and keep trying. The animation, music, and action are all great. Have I mentioned the dub? I think My Hero Academia should be required reading or viewing by everyone and would help inspire people and help everyone.
Me after seeing Todoroki's abs after his match:
...O hai thar....*drool*
A PSA for people commenting on the Alamo’s women-only showings:
Getting real tired of people sneering that the women-only showings are a marketing ploy. Who cares? Businesses make money. That’s kind of their thing. If they can make extra money by doing a particular thing, it’s in their best interest to do it. Great! Here’s the thing:
WE ALL KNOW THAT. You’re not special or intellectually superior for going “ugh, don’t you people realize they’re a BUSINESS and they’re doing this FOR MONEY?”
1. Yes. Allow me to present a new idea to you: people can do things for more than one reason! A business owner can, for example, support a charity AND benefit from the positive press that comes from doing so. 2. Perhaps it is worth celebrating that something like celebrating women and donating to Planned Parenthood is a good business move? Hey, things that are good to do are popular to do! Progress! 3. Sneering at everyone doesn’t make you cool, thinking you’re smarter than everyone just makes you an asshole.
