Dear Journal,

Hey, it’s Teddy here once again. I couldn’t not write in here after what happened last night. It was all I imagined it to be like with James Sirius. Well.. I haven’t “imagined it” but you know.. The thought of doing it with him crossed my mind a few times. He was a bit nervous but he was ready. Merlin he couldn’t stop blushing! When it was getting to cold, we climbed on my balcony and went inside in the house. I didn’t want my dads to worry about me not being in my bed the next morning. The moon was glowing. James was cuddled against me and my arms were wrapped around him. He couldn’t hide the smile on his face. Our legs were tangled together and I could feel his cold hands under the covers.

“Your hands are cold.” I whispered.

He nodded and I took hold of his delicate hands, placing them on my warm thorso. I shivered at the touch but the thought of James getting warmer made me forget the freezing sensation sticking to my skin.

“Goodnight Ted.” He whispered, cuddling a bit closer.

“Goodnight James.” I whispered back, feeling my lids become heavier.

I woke up to the sound of birds and wind. My window was still open, letting the morning light enter the dark room. I sat up and sent a look over my shoulder at the sleeping James. His hair were messy and his cheeks were flushed. I stood up and tried to find some pyjama pants. I was only in my underwear and I didn’t want Sirius to tease me about being half naked with my boyfriend, you see. I silently walked to the kitchen, hoping to find some fresh eggs to cook for my boyfriend. The house was silent… weird. Thunder was sleeping on the living room’s rug and a note was sitting on the counter.

« My dear Teddy! Remus, Regulus and I went to the market to buy stuff for your birthday next week. We’ll be back for dinner. Love you xo

Ps: hope you had fun last night ;) »

I rolled my eyes with a smile while reading the note. I opened the fridge and prepared breakfast for James and I. I wasn’t the best cook but I could cook eggs and bacon pretty well. I was concentrating on the eggs when I heared the door crack. I turned around and saw James. He was barefoot and wearing his boxers with one of my oversized Hufflepuff t-shirt, making him look so small.

“Hey baby.. slept well?” I smiled as he approached me silently.

“Yes, I did. You?” He blushed.

“I always sleep well when i’m with you..” i smiled. “Why are blushing like that?” I chuckled, pocking his cheeks.

He giggled and sat on the counter.

“I was thinking about last night.” He smiled, biting his bottom lip. “I’m happy I got to have my first time with you. It was great.”

“Merlin you’re so freaking adorable!” I laughed, picking him up and twirling him around.

“HAHAHA STOP!! HHAHA!” He laughed.

I set him down and he kissed me.

“Where are your parents?” He asked, looking around.

“Birthday gift shopping.” I said, my hands on his waist.

He set his forehead on mine and kissed me again.

“You should check your eggs before they burn..” he said, jockingly.

“Oh shit!” I said, running to my eggs.

They weren’t burned thank Merlin. I put them in plates with the bacon and toasts and we ate on my balcony. It was a sunny and warm morning. I was happy to spend it with my boyfriend. My best friend. My love.

I just attended my first pride! It was small and I didn't see any visible aces (nor was i visible besides my ace ring), but i saw a bi flag, a trans flag and two pan flags and so many rainbows. Such a warm, sunny and happy day. I'm really glad I went and I felt a surge of confidence. It definitely won't be my last pride :)

Could we get Sousuke, Rin, Rei, Nagisa, Makoto, & Haru with s/o has a fear of water because they nearly drowned. They didn't tell the boys because they were ashamed that the very thing they fear is the same thing the boys love. The boys always tried to get them to swim but they always refuse with some excuse. One day, s/o was walking to the bench until somebody accidentally bumped into them and fell into the pool. The boys came to their rescue and they finally told them. How do they react? Tqvm

Hi Nonnie! I hope you don’t mind, but I made scenario-thingies instead of headcanons! Enjoy!

Trigger Warnings: Drowning, Hydrophobia, Anxiety, NDE (Near Death Experience)

It was a warm sunny day that promised happiness, which is exactly what (Name) felt as she walked closer to the doors of the Aquatic Training Facility that her boyfriend was practicing at. (Name) wasn’t entirely fond of water, so mustering up the courage to go and surprise her man was a huge milestone for her. She could never bring herself to tell her boyfriend about her fear, because she was too ashamed of being so vulnerable and scared in the face of something that he loved so dearly. Taking a deep breath, she pushed open the doors and was hit with a strong wave of chlorine. There were other people in the facility training as well, so she stood at the entrance, eyes scanning for her target. Once (Eye Color) orbs had locked on to him, she smiled and made her way over, proceeding with caution. As she neared, the area grew louder with a chorus of, “Hey! It’s (Name)!” and “Whoa, she never comes to practice!” as her boyfriend’s teammates acknowledged her presence.

He turned around in the water, before making eye contact and smiling, “(Name)?” With that, he got out of the pool and started to make his way towards her, his loving gaze holding hers. She smiled, and just as she was about to answer him, someone walking past her caught her ankle with their foot, and instead of falling to the hard concrete, she fell towards the pool. Her body collided with the water’s surface with a splash, and everyone gasped in shock.

Her boyfriend’s heart stopped when she didn’t resurface.

Sosuke: As soon as a few seconds went by, he dove in where she had fallen, and fished her out. He was so concerned, and even more so at the fact that she didn’t even try to swim to get herself out. His heart hurt it was racing so fast.
“Babe, are you okay?” Worry laced his baritone voice and he proceeded to carry his shivering girlfriend out of the water bridal-style, even though it put a strain on his shoulder.

He carried her to the back and tried to set her down on the bench, but she had a vice grip on his neck, her nails digging into his shoulders. “Hey, are you cold? Here,” He sat down on the bench with her in his lap, and rubbed her soaked frame, trying to accumulate warmth. He looked down at her, and asked “How come you didn’t try to swim out?” He lowered his voice, “Baby…Do you know how to swim?”

After a few seconds, she lifted her head to reveal red, puffy eyes and tear stained cheeks. He widened his eyes as he realized that she was shivering because she was scared, not because she was cold. His eyes softened as he realized another thing.

(Name) was afraid of water.

“Oh, (Name)…Why didn’t you tell me you feared water?” He kissed the top of her head and held her tight.

“I-I’m so s-sorry, Sosuke. I j-just wanted to c-come and support you, I never m-meant for you to find out. I’m s-sorry,” She sobbed into her hands, body still incredibly frigid. His brows furrowed and he tilted her chin up to look at him.

“Why didn’t you want to tell me? There’s absolutely no need to feel sorry.” Sea-green eyes softened and he buried his nose in her wet hair.

“I-I didn’t want to tell you be-because you love swimming so much…I was sc-scared it would have bothered you,” She sniffed and leaned in towards his chest, her right cheek resting on his chest.

“Oh, (Name)…I love you so much,” He held her tight and let out a small chuckle,

“Yes, it is true, swimming used to be the most important thing in my life, but now you’re the most important thing. Swimming could never compare to you,” He tilted her head up once more and planted a sweet kiss on her mouth.

Rin: Rin broke out into a fucking sprint, nearly tripping, as he tried to get to (Name) as fast as possible; he dove in without hesitating, and pulled her out, setting her on the ground near the edge of the pool.

What the hell, (Name)?! You could have drowned!” He cupped her cheeks and turned her head to the side, checking for any signs of trauma. (Name) flinched out of his grasp and scurried back, distancing herself from the pool, and was taking fast, shallow breaths. Rin, deciding that she needed some safe environment away from other people, scooped her up and took her to the medical room. There he placed her on the table and got her a towel, throwing it on her head gently and began to dry her locks.

“Babe? What’s up?” the redhead tilted his head down so that he could try and get a better look of her facial expression. He pushed apart her knees and pressed against the table, leaning into her. He cupped her face once more.

“Hey, talk to me…” She looked up with teary eyes, her breathing still fairly ragged.

“I-I’m sorry Rin, I-I didn’t mean to pull you away from practice.” She sniffed, her teeth chattering from the situation and from being wet. Rin rubbed a thumb over her cheek and studied her eyes.

“Babe…Why didn’t you swim? You could have drowned! You just froze up!…You…Froze…(Name), are-…” he leaned in close and whispered, “…Are you afraid of water?” (Name)’s eyes filled to the brim with hot tears, and she bit her lip, looked down, and nodded.

“I’m so sorry, Rin. I didn’t want to tell you because I know swimming is a very important part of your life; it’s what’s made you the way you are. I-I couldn’t bring myself to tell the one I love that I’m terrified of the one thing that makes him happy,” her voice came out as a weak whimper, sniffles peppering her sentences. When no response came from Rin, she looked up anxiously.

He had a weak look on his face, and he leaned his forehead onto hers. “(Name), why didn’t you tell me? It’s okay to have fears; but, you can’t seriously think that swimming is the highlight of my life, babe…You make me the happiest. I can’t even tell you how important you are to me. Just-” He let out a shaky breath and pressed a kiss to her nose, “Just tell me next time…I want to avoid putting you in these types of situations…Now look what you’ve done, you’re making me feel like a bad boyfriend.” He huffed and closed his eyes as his ears turned red.

You let out a small giggle, finally calming down. “I love you, Rin.”

“I love you too, Sharkbait.”

Rei: Ho-ly shit. Panic, sheer panic, shook his entire being, as he watched (Name) thrash around in the water, and after a few seconds of shock, he sprang into action.

He leapt in the pool and fished her out, semi-awkwardly, as she flailed and struggled to get away from Rei. Once he got her to the edge of the pool she scrambled out and flung herself into the nearest set of doors, which happened to lead to the locker room. Jumping out, Rei followed her, and grabbed a few towels on his way in.

“(Name)?! What on earth?!” He cut himself off as he saw her rocking back and forth, her knees clamped around her head, and gasping for air. Rei, knowing exactly how to deal with panic attacks, knelt in front of her and grabbed her hand.

“Deep breaths for me, (Name), match my breathing,” he placed her trembling hand onto his chest and deeply inhaled and exhaled, eerily calm throughout this entire ordeal. “Deep breaths, that’s it babe…You’re doing so well…Do you feel my heart? Try to make your heart beat in sync with mine.”

Once his s/o had calmed down enough to speak, she sat up and set her feet on the floor, slumping against the lockers.

“R-Rei,” she squeaked. He shushed her and smoothed her hair, tucking a strand of it behind her ear before giving her temple a quick kiss.

“I know, babe. I know an anxiety attack when I see one,” He looked into her eyes, and rubbed soothing circles on her thigh, “What brought it on?”

She averted her gaze and in the smallest voice possible, whispered “I-I…I suffer from hydrophobia…I’m so sorry.”

Rei automatically looked taken aback and he dropped his head. “I’m so sorry, (Name). I was a careless boyfriend, and I didn’t pay attention to the little things, like how you always seemed to decline my offers on swimming, and how you never like to go to the beach…I should have paid more attention, if someone’s sorry here, it’s me…”

“N-No! This is in no way your fault! I-I was afraid to tell you because y-you’re so devoted to swimming and I didn’t want that to put a strain on our relationship!” She scrambled for words, blushing and stuttering.

Rei smiled and pushed up his glasses. “Although I appreciate your interest in making sure that our relationship is healthy, I will have to remind you that communication is the key to all successful relationships. I love you, and nothing will change that.” He gently grabbed her chin and planted a wet kiss on her lips. She smiled and leaned forward to rest her head on his shoulder.

“I love you more, Rei.”

Nagisa: “(NAME)!” Nagisa frantically swam over to where his s/o were submerged and hoisted her up and out of the water. She coughed and hacked, and gasped for air. “Are you alright?!” He engulfed her in a bear-hug and pushed the back of her wet head onto his shoulder. “Why didn’t you swim to the surface?” He pulled back and tilted his head, his hands resting on her hunched shoulders.

She took in shallow breaths, and before she could even say anything, Gou chimed, “Oh my god! Is she okay?! She can’t be around water!”

Nagisa furrowed his brows at the redhead, “What? Why not?”

“She’s terrified of water! What is she even doing here?! It’s so dangerous!” Gou ran to the corner of the room to grab a towel for his shaking girlfriend.
He slowly turned back to (Name), who was hanging her head low.

“I’m real sorry, Naggie… I-I didn’t mean for you to find out this way,”
Nagisa hooked one arm under her knees, and the other around her back, bringing her close to him as he sat her on his lap.

“Why didn’t you tell me? And why did you come here knowing that water scares you?!” He softly asked, pressing his cheek against her head.

“Well, I wanted to come out and support you, and I was tripped and I just f-fell in! I didn’t mean to frighten you, I’m sorry…” She clutched onto him.

“Whoa whoa whoa, (Name), there’s no need to apologize! You could have been seriously hurt! You should have told me!…” He looked a little hurt that she didn’t tell him. Realizing this, she began to frantically wave her hands.

“I-I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner! Please don’t be upset! See, I’m alright! But…” She sighed and slumped over, “I-I didn’t want to tell you because I figured you’d not want to be with someone who doesn’t like water, since swimming is a huge part of your life…”

“(Name)! Don’t say stuff like that, of course I would still have you by my side! I don’t ever want you to leave! Please just tell me next time, I’m your boyfriend, and I should know everything about you! I wanna keep you safe.” He kissed her head, and she kissed his shoulder.

“I really do love you heaps, Nagisa,”

“Oh, doll, I love you too.”

Makoto: He audibly screeched and broke out into a sprint, diving perfectly into where (Name) had sunken. He fished her out with strong arms, and leapt out of the pool, sprinting to the medical room. Setting her down on the bench, he went over to the cabinet to get something to dry her off with, but turned around to see her spring over to the sink to throw up gulps of water. He went over and rubbed her back, holding her hair away from her face. Once she was done coughing and sputtering, he set her on the counter, and began to dry her off.

“Did you bang your head on the bottom?” She shook her head no, and tried to level her breathing. Makoto tried again, “Are you injured?”
Again, she shook her head. “Then why didn’t you try to swim out?” He asked softly. “You inhaled so much water, you could have drowned if I hadn’t fished you out! Is there something I’m missing-”

(Name) sobbed and covered her eyes, “Makoto, I’m terrified of water!”
He just silently sat there, mouth agape and eyebrows strung high on his forehead, while she silently shook.

She sniffled as he brushed her stained cheeks softly, “Why are you crying then? We’re far away from the pool,” his little smile was reassuring.
“B-Because I’m ashamed! My boyfriend loves water, and I love him, but I hate water! I-It’s horrifying to me! I-I can’t be around it, I-I clam up and I fr-freeze, and-”

The tall swimmer leaned in and cut her off with a deep kiss, both hands cupping her face. “Oh, (Name), you have no reason to fear the water. I’ll let you in on two little secrets,” He then softly whispered, “I’m scared to death of the ocean.”

“R-Really?” She looked up and was wide-eyed. “I-I had no idea. That doesn’t make any sense, you’re a swimmer!”

“I know, but the ocean and a relay pool are two totally different monsters. I lost my dad to the ocean when I was a kid, and I’ve just always been so afraid. I don’t think you disliking water is a big deal at all,” he gave her a closed-eye grin.

“Thank you, Makoto.” She smiled, all traces of anxiety from the previous incident wiped out of her system. “Oh! Wait, what’s the other secret? You only told me one,” She tucked a wet strand of hair behind her ear.

He gave her a small lop-sided grin and leaned in towards her ear, and softly whispered: “I love you too.”

Haru: As soon as he saw her lose her balance, he was already lunging towards her direction, being the super over protective boyfriend that he is. But, once she hit the water, he picked up the pace of his movements and made a beeline for her. The lanky teen dove in and fished her out, locking his arms protectively around her midsection, and in turn, she clutched onto him for dear life. He sprung out of the water and went directly into the locker room where he kept his dry clothes. Noticing she was still shaking, he patted her back softly and in a low voice, asked “Hey? Are you okay? Did you get hurt?”

Getting no response, he tried to pry her arms from his neck and her legs from his waist, but she had him in a vice grip.

“Babe, if you don’t tell me what’s wrong I can’t help,”

She just quivered and shook his grasp, and Haru noticed the sniffles she began producing. Thinking fast, he sat down on the nearest bench, settled her comfortably in his lap, and wrapped a nearby towel around her shoulders, gently patting her body in effort to dry her.

“(Name), you’ll get sick if you stay wet in this room, the AC is going.” In a softer voice, he tried again, “Honey? Please tell me what’s wrong?”

She shook in his grasp, and muttered out “I-I’m terrified of water, Haruka…I-I’m so sorry…”

He nudged her cheek with his nose, and drew his arms tighter around her. “Okay…? Is that all, (Name)?”

She slowly pulled back from his neck, “W-Wait, you’re not upset?”

He stared at her blankly and blinked, “Why would I be upset? I was just worried about you…Is that why you didn’t swim to the surface?”

She nodded, but pressed on. “I thought you would be upset because you love water so much, and I didn’t want to tell you because I was so scared that you would want to break things off because you could never be with someone who-”

Alright, (Name), I’m going to stop you right there,” His sharp blue eyes gleamed, “How could you even possibly entertain the idea of us being apart? Yes, I love swimming, and yes, I love water, but I also love you. I will allow nothing, not even water, to come between us.” He huffed, his face the perfect definition of serious.

“I’m sorry, Haruka, I thought that you would have been upset…I should have just told you.”

He took a deep breath, and relaxed his shoulders. “No, I’m sorry that I never asked. How long have we been together now? And not once had I given much thought to why you never liked the idea of swimming…” He nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck, “I thought it was maybe because you couldn’t swim.”

She laughed and ran her fingers over the muscles of his back. “I think you got more upset about my reason to not tell you rather than the actual fact that I can’t stand water.”

He frowned and mumbled, “Whatever…I just don’t like the thought of us being apart.”

She pulled back and smiled, kissing him tenderly. He responded, cupping her lower back and rubbing small circles into her hip with the other hand.

“I love you, (Name).”

“I love you more, Haruka.”

11/12.5.17 // sunny warm days have come! So happy I can study outside the Student Cafeteria, at Humbolt University. I finished Bakhtin´s Essay Epic and Novel and read also Aleida Assmann´s Essay on Fiction as Difference. Both were extremely interesting and tomorrow I´m starting to write my essay for the seminar due in two Mondays. I also have to get on with my readings for my Paper on Feminism, which I´m really neglecting.

June 3, 1937- Wedding of Edward, Duke of Windsor and Wallis Warfield at Chateau de Cande, France.

Eighty years ago today, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor were married. The royal family boycotted their wedding, and Wallis’s Aunt Bessie was the only relative of either who attended. Only twelve guests in total attended, while hundreds of paparazzi waited outside the gates to get photos of the couple for newspapers all over the world. Wallis’s dress was designed by Mainbocher and was widely copied in the weeks and months following the wedding.

“Our Wedding day, the third of June, was beautifully warm and sunny. I shall say only that it was a supremely happy moment. All I had been through, the hurts I had suffered, were forgotten.”

-Wallis, Duchess of Windsor, The Heart Has Its Reasons
