Sunflower Seed Spread

I used to work in my highschool’s deli and we made a sunflower seed dip that was super easy and actually really low fodmap, which is cool bc now I am that!

it’s similar to hummus but a little lighter. basically you take:

  • about a cup [240 mL] of raw sunflower seeds (you could probably use roasted and just rinse off the salt and add more oil, but I haven’t tested it),
  • two tablespoons [30 mL] of olive oil,
  • two tablespoons [30 mL] of water,
  • and salt, pepper, and any other seasonings to taste,

and spin them in a food processor or blender until they’re fluffy and creamy.
