sun streaming over bridge

Confession: I became extremely emotional when I first walked into Yanxia. The rice paddies, the winding paths among the hills, fruit drying in the sun, bamboo bridges over little streams, the architecture, the simplicity of life in the village, the sharp string music soaring into the background, and even the the massive pots outside a home - I felt as if I had come to visit a version of my family’s hometown that only existed in vague childhood memories.

Traveling to Othard has been one familiar thing after the other, but nothing has touched me quite like Yanxia, and specifically the village of Namai. It very much feels like a place I (and my character) could call home.
