Niall: My parents hadn’t met Niall yet, and they’d decided to meet him on Christmas day. “You remembered to put the presents in the car, right?” Niall asked me, keeping one hand on the steering wheel and one entwined with mine. I nodded at him, turning to the back just to make sure. True to my word, there were six boxes all wrapped up.

When we were at the door, my mom was the one to open it. “Y/N!” she yelled, pouncing on me, wrapping her arms tight around my shoulders. “This must be Niall, the guy you’re always fangirling about!” she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around his waist since she couldn’t reach his shoulders.

Niall grinned, wrapping his own arms around her as well. “It’s lovely to meet you Mrs Y/L/N! Y/N always talks about you. I see where her beauty comes from,” he told her.

She blushed, and took our hands, dragging us to the living room. Inside it, sat my dad, my older brothers, my cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents. “LISTEN UP EVERYONE!” my mom yelled, getting the attention from everyone. “MY DAUGHTER AND HER BOYFRIEND ARE HERE AND HE DOES NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW WEIRD WE ARE SO JUST PRETEND TO BE NORMAL!” my mother continued, until she ran out of breath.

Niall giggled, as I lead him to my dad, who was sitting with my grandpa. “Hello sir, I’m Niall.” my adorable boyfriend said, holding his hand out to be shook. Both the men grinned, and clapped his shoulder, ignoring the hand.

“Nice to meet you, laddy. Y/N never shuts up about you. Oh, daddy, he has the pretties eyes. Oh daddy, he got me an ice cream. Oh daddy this and that. Feel special all our conversations have been about you,”

With my face burning red, I stalked away from them, dragging Niall along. I plopped down onto the couch, pulling him down as well. My brothers took the space next to us, glaring at Niall. Just as my mom turned the stereo up, my aunts and uncles, and some cousins jumped up and began to dance to The Beatles’ Hey Jude, which was blasting.

I laughed, as the oldies danced. “Come on, princess!” Niall urged, standing up, pulling me beside him. He grinned, wrapping his arms around my waist, touching his forehead to mine, leading my hands to his neck. He stuck his tongue out, mimicking a funny face, as we moved around with the rest of the family

“AWWWWWW!” my mom yelled, jumping up and down. She had the camera around her neck, snapping pictures of Niall and I. Niall chuckled, rolling away and moving to dance with my mom instead. My dad found me and moved around like Niall had previously, but with less touchy touchy-ness.

All in all, before we left, my parents begged Niall to come over again.

a/n: short. I know, but it’s the only thing you’re getting for a while. I’m sorry, but – truth. Okay, bye now!

Lou, you saved so many people and don’t even get enough credit. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being there. I know you weren’t ever, really, _there_, but you were always somewhere. Whether it be just watching you tweet on twitter, or watching interviews or xfactor diaries, or music videos. You were always there to show me that miracles happen. So Louis, I am thanking you for being there. I love you so much, but you’ll never now I exist, which I’m okay with. Okay? Okay.
