Taurus: heaviness and the feeling of carry extra body weight. appetite changes and an increased reliance on personal pleasure to the extent it becomes routine but there isn’t real satisfaction in anything. the voice is shaky, caffeine intake can increase

Gemini: quietened into silence by the consistent loud banging of thoughts. less focused and animated during conversation and socialisation, they can become more argumentative and defensive. quickly diverts the subject off themselves. if they smoke it increases. it may be hard to maintain dietary intake, they can become easily panicked and impossible to follow

Cancer: reacts overtly and excessively to emotional provocation. everybody in the house knows they are ‘in a mood’. the appetite can change, increase in sugar cravings, its easy to gain weight, regressive patterns can re-emerge

Leo: physical symptoms of exhaustion including heart palpitations, hot flashes, and sore muscles in the chest and lower back. stress can increase energy to untameable levels so they can become more frantic, more sacrificial, more of a people pleaser, more in need of recognition

Virgo: a person running around in a frantic pace doing 20 different things at the same time, feeling unrealistic time constraints, looking ultra productive and constructive but is running around in directionless circles. the rituals can get out of hand, digestive discomfort, appetite changes

Libra: they can care too much about the image people have of them to expose their concerns and worries. they can wait for close friends to pick up on this by some form of telepathy and feel disheartened and betrayed when they don’t. they can get a nervous or sensitive bladder and feel like everybody is personally agitated or ignoring them

Scorpio: Becomes self-reclusive and shuts off from everybody. They can become very hostile or reactive to attempted intrusions into their inner space and get ‘those eyes’ everyone close to them knows well. Sexual desire can fluctuate

Sagittarius: The pace of everything increases to uncontrollable rapid speed in the mind and body there can be unusual headaches, nerves, the feeling of breathing stale air, back pain, and restless legs. They can feel happy, but they overthink, doubt, and wonder how long it will last.

Capricorn: Can become itchy and suffer jaw tension. Everything needs to remain the same and completely normal so they keep everything inside so that nobody changes their behaviour around them. they self seclude and spend a lot of time thinking, cataloguing stressors and working through them one at a time, purposefully and painfully on their own

Aquarius: the will to make a difference flatlines, there is little inspiration and a lot of frustration in a world they can’t seem to fit into. their thoughts become very sharp and cut them deeply, they can detach from everyone and everything

Pisces: They can become their own worst enemy, worries can inflate into disproportioned fears and they can actively live these out, like if they have an early alarm and frantically try to get sleep and agonise about tomorrow’s tiredness and keep themselves awake all night by playing out imaginative scenarios until the morning

The Lazy Girl's Guide to Losing Weight
  1. Always start a meal with a glass of water: You’ll stay hydrated and feel fuller instantly, which can help you from overeating.
  2. Make a few simple swaps at every meal: Going for a vinaigrette dressing instead of a Green Goddess dressing at lunch can save you 80 calories, while opting for fresh fruit instead of dried can save you dozens as well. Get a list of simple swaps to save calories here.
  3. Have a piece of dark chocolate for dessert: Instead of opting for the cookies in the break room, quiet your sugar cravings with a piece of dark chocolate. It may not feel quite as satisfying the first few times, but as you wean yourself off your sugar addiction, you’ll be glad you’re saving calories while having a healthy yet decadent treat.
  4. Be diligent with portion control: If you want to lose weight, sticking to the right portions at every meal is important. Measure out snacks beforehand instead of eating from the bag, use smaller plates to visually signal that your meal will satisfy, and put away leftovers, so you’re not tempted to go back for seconds.
  5. Move more: Even if you’re not dedicating an entire chunk of time to a workout, you can burn a few extra calories by making an effort to move a little more during the day. Taking breaks to walk around the office, opting for the stairs instead of the escalator, and parking a little farther from the office entrance are all simple ways to up your calorie burn.
  6. Don’t drink your calories: It’s a common reason why you’re not seeing results — those empty calories from a daily soda, morning juice, or large glass of wine at dinner can really add up. Stick to water flavored with a fresh ingredients likecucumber, lemon, or mint in order to save on important calories.
  7. Don’t go hungry too long: A little hunger can be good for you, but starving yourself all day in order to “splurge” on dessert at night is both unhealthy and diet sabotage. Eat well-timed meals and snacks in order to avoid low blood sugar levels that cause you to crash.
  8. Snack on high-protein, high-fiber foods: When it’s time to snack, make your food work for you. Steer clear of the empty, high-calorie options like chips and crackers, and go for protein- and fiber-rich foods that taste good and fill you up too. You’ll be able to eat fewer calories while still feeling satisfied. One of these150-calorie snacks will surely hit the spot.
  9. Eat a light, early dinner. Try to keep your dinner to about 25 percent of your daily calories, and have it at least two to three hours before going to bed. Eating too much too late can cause digestion and sleep issues that make it hard to stick to a healthy routine.
  10. Get more sleep. Lack of sleep can cause you to eat more throughout the day and not have enough energy for your workouts, so aim for seven to nine hours of sleep every night. It’s an easy and effective way to keep your weight-loss goals on the right track.

Ingredient - Honey

Magical Properties

- Honey can be symbolically used to stick things together. It can be used in binding spells, adding stability to relationships, and put on poppets. It’s good for binding spells because it can be undone fairly easily too.
- It’s used similarly to sugar; to sweeten a person or situation to work in your favour.
- Honey is an excellent offering to gods and spirits.
- A dab of it can be used in attraction, love, lust, and sex magic.

Medicinal Properties

- Honey is great for cold and flu treatment. Raw and organic honey is preferable as it is an antibacterial and is high in antioxidants.
- It can be used in an ointment for treating wounds, burns and cold sores.
- Honey will help in muscle building; a teaspoon of raw organic honey after a workout can induce an insulin spike, allowing your muscles to get the most out of the workout.
- It can be used as a weight loss aid. Honey can cause changes to the metabolism that will help curb sugar cravings.
- Honey is also an excellent hangover remedy.

Sometimes I lose my appetite for days or weeks - even the foods I normally crave become as appealing as eating paper towels. It normally goes hand in hand with sensory issues with the food. These are some of the tricks I’ve learned to make sure I get enough nutrition anyway

  • The first and most important thing is you need to remember that eating anything is better than eating nothing. You may need to suspend your normal standards or rules - eating foods that are less “healthy" than normal, eating the same thing over and over gain, or just not enjoying your food as much.
  • Energy (calorie) dense foods like nuts or energy bars are really helpful, especially if the actual process of eating is unpleasant. Sometimes its really nice to be able to eat a meals worth of energy in under a minute
  • Chewing gum helps me get my appetite going - If I am trying to get myself hungry for a meal I will often start with gum 30-40 minutes before.
  • I rely a lot on eating a little of something I’m comfortable with to pique my appetite and moving to a different food group afterwards. Eating the first thing is always the hardest - I find after I start my brain realizes that food is ok and I can move onto larger portions or a different food.
  • When I eat something sweet I tend to crave more sugar later. So I use this to my advantage and have a small portion of something with some sugar in it and then wait to be hungry for more. Sometimes I will try to eat something a little more nutritious the second time, others I just have more of whatever was finally able to pique my interest
  • For the same reason consider other foods you find hard to put down. I’ve heard that things with both carbs and fat in them are the most “addictive” and I use that when I’m struggling to get enough to eat. It’s ok if this is a “junk” food - remember eating anything is better than eating nothing
  • Ginger tea or ginger chews make my stomach feel better
  • Keep track of your food. It can be really informal, like making sure you don’t skip meals, or it can be some other strategy of keeping a food journal or counting calories. You don’t need to be super precise, it just helps remind you to eat when your body isn’t sending the right signals
  • Look at “food porn.” Scrolling through a food blog you love on tumblr or watching a cooking show can be a good way to get your appetite going
  • Have a nutritional drink like an ensure can help you make sure you are getting all the nutrients you need without much thought. I find ensure is best very cold or on ice.
  • Look for foods or categories of foods that seem easier to tolerate than the others. This might be something you know is easy on your stomach, something of a certain texture, something hot/cold, or just a favorite food.
  • If there is a food that you find less unappealing than the others, or feels “safe” to you go for it, even if you’ve eaten it many times in the last few days. I even find having eaten a food or meal in recent memory helps convince my body its not gonna be harmful

When you eat something loaded with sugar, your taste buds, your gut and your brain all take notice. This activation of your reward system is not unlike how bodies process addictive substances such as alcohol or nicotine — an overload of sugar spikes dopamine levels and leaves you craving more.

Moon in the 4th house - Moon’s Baby

“And the Great Mother said: Come my child and give me all that you are. I am not afraid of your strength and darkness, of your fear and pain. Give me your tears. They will be my rushing rivers and roaring oceans. Give me your rage. It will erupt into my molten volcanoes and rolling thunder. Give me your tired spirit. I will lay it to rest in my soft meadows.” ~Linda Reuther

Moon water is cradled in the umbilical cord with Moon in the 4th. Although the line is cut away, the powerful connection between individual and mother tightly bound for a lifetime. This is a sensitive position for the Moon, and her lunar songs are symphonic in her own Cancer ruled house. The attachment to home, family, and loved ones is physically, spiritually, and emotionally binding. Stability is important, although her childhood may have involved a lot of moving around and change in residence. The core is gentle, emotional, and loving with Moon in the 4th. Healthy experiences during the upbringing prime empathy, appreciation, and soothing lifelong memories. But, if the earliest expression of emotion were invalidated by the parents, the individual can struggle longterm with emotional lability, instability, and dependency. Much of her coping skills centre around developing emotional resiliency and the ability to self comfort. The individual is a safe guarder and the nature is defensive and protective. She dips her mermaid tail in the moon lagoon, the water in her spirit, and she frequently drifts into fantasy and comforting reverie. Remarkable memory retention can be a blessing and a curse.

The 4th house is the residence of spirit guides, and the moon’s psychic nature accelerates the connection between soul and body. She can receive intuitive guidance through sensations, feelings, and her direct intimacy with Mother Goddess. Ancestors may communicate with her in the home through appliances like switching on lights and changing room temperature. The close presence of spirit guides is very much a protective force. There are always angels hovering close by. No matter her physical age, she is always a golden child of the heavens. Family is the joy, despair, and repair of life with Moon in the 4th. Nothing brings her more delight than having everybody she loves together again. She may be a great lover of holiday season, birthdays, stormy nights, and cooking for friends and family. Family is what keeps her balanced and feeling safe, because she may be constantly threatened by loss of security, abandonment, or the death of a family member. There may be a deep affinity with tracing back ancestors and discovering her family history. Photographs are essential, and she may like to keep a journal. Her home is her bungalow and sanctuary, and she absolutely needs a safe place she can retreat from the world and crawl into. There is a natural and commanding harmony with the cycles of the moon. She is the lunar mirror whose moods wax and wane to reflect the hollow and full white diamond in the sky. She can experience consuming and suffocating mood states where she feel everything at once, and then she feels nothing at all. There may be difficulties with fluid retention and managing sugar and dairy cravings. The individual can fall easily into destructive rituals to cope with emotion, she may binge eat, impulse buy, or refuse to get out of bed.

Moon in the 4th people are natural mother goddesses, and the individual expresses her maternity and wisdom from a very young age. The fourth house represents the psychological base. Dane Rudyhar calls this the symbolic tap-root of the human organism, the place in which the total human person finds his centre. The Moon is the astrological expression of feminine energy and matriarchal consciousness. As a child, the feminine influences of her life condition her and shape her as a person. There may have been a close attachment to the mother, aunt, or grandmother, and possibly all three. Psychic abilities are generally inherited by the women in her heritage. The moon is attached to the earth’s gravity field the same way a baby is attached to its mother. It’s possible that she experienced and still does experience a high degree of psychic activity with the mother, like she was a vessel of the mother’s sensations and moods. She may feel very safe with the mother as the intuitive bond is so strong and provides her with a sense of comfort in a way nobody else does. It is possible that she will care for the mother in old age as she undertakes the mothering role herself. Also, the mother may have been quite emotional and unstable, so it may have been difficult for the individual to predict her mother’s responses and exaggerated her instability fears. The home life is a reflection of her inner values and sentiments. Milky lunar drops fill her home and inner experience with the frothy creamy comfort of unconditional love, shelter, and belonging. She is the place everybody comes home to.

[ art Victo Ngai - See Babies Before They Are Born]

To say you were craving sugar was an understatement. You had just finished raiding your kitchen and when you came up empty handed in your search for sweets you could’ve nearly broken down into tears. You were making your way into the living room with a pout on your face when you saw it.

“Ah my love, you wanna come cuddle on tha couch?” You weren’t really listening to him, you were more focused on the pint of ice cream that Harry had between his hands. You quickly plopped down next to him making him laugh as you snuggled up closer to him.

“Harry where did you get that?” He looked down at the ice cream in his hands as you started to reach for the spoon he was currently not using. He quickly moved the sweet treat out of your reach making your mouth once again fall into a pout.

“Oh no ya don’t! Last time I shared my ice cream with you I got left with all the minty bits and all the chocolate was gone!” You just rolled your eyes as you reached over him in attempt to grab the ice cream from his outstretched arm.

“Don’t be so dramatic Harry, I just want a bite.” You heard Harry laugh as you were now practically in his lap trying to get the ice cream from his hand. You let out an annoyed sigh as you reached up one more time in efforts to grab the container that held the sweet treat you were craving so badly.

“Psh, a bite my love is one spoonful.” He slowly lowered his arm as his free one wrapped around your waist and pulled you down onto his lap. “But your version of a bite means that in a matter of minutes my ice cream will be half gone.” You rolled your eyes as you turned yourself around so your back was against his chest.

“Well when I like something I just can’t help myself.” You stated causing Harry to laugh lightly as his arm wrapped tighter around your waist. “Can I please just have a bite Harry, I’ve been craving sweets.” You turned your head as you gave him your sweetest smile making him roll his eyes.

“Fine,” you couldn’t help but giggle in delight as Harry handed you the ice cream. “One bite.” He added as you turned your attention to the pint of ice cream that was now in your hands. You quickly crossed your legs while still sitting in Harry’s lap, Harry wrapped his other arm around your waist giving you a light squeeze as he placed a sweet kiss to your neck.

“Not now Harry,” you felt him smile against your skin. “I’m trying to eat.” You felt him laugh against your neck causing you to squirm as his breath hit your skin.

“Oh there is more ice cream in the freezer my love,” your eyes widened as his words hit your ears. “I just hid it from you.” You almost dropped the spoon that was in your hand, you snapped your head to the side so you could look at him.

“You hid it from me?” Your tone was playful but Harry knew by the way your eyebrows were so close together that you were slightly annoyed. “Why would you hide my ice cream? You know how much I love it.” Harry couldn’t help but just roll his eyes at you as you placed another spoonful of ice cream into your mouth.

Harry knew what you were doing, he wasn’t new to your games. He knew this was how you were trying to distract him so you could finish off his treat before he had a chance to eat anymore of it. Harry quickly just placed a sweet kiss to your cheek as you turned your attention to the television.

“Pretty woman,” he whispered in your ear. “One of our favorites.” He brought you closer to him as he twisted your bodies to he was now leaned against the armrest of the couch and you could spread your legs out between his.

“You have good taste in ice cream,” you stated as you placed the now empty container on the floor next to the couch, Harry just shook his head when he saw you lick the spoon before putting inside the container as well. “And in movies, I’m one lucky girl.” You added as you snuggled into Harry a bit more resting your head on his chest as his arms found their way to your middle.

“Yes one lucky girl indeed.” You felt him kiss the top of your head leaving his lips there for a moment. You loved having cuddles on the couch with Harry while the two of you watched a movie, you loved it even more when it involved ice cream.

Sugar Rush - Jeff Atkins x Reader

Although you hated admitting it to yourself, the only reason you even went to Blue Spot Liquors, was because stupidly cute, baseball-playing, popular-as-heck Jeff Atkins worked there part time. He was cool, not just in that ‘he’s so cool’ way, but in a mature and collected way, and you- well you were not. You tried to stop by every Wednesday, you’d seen him there before on a Wednesday, to buy some kind of sweet delight. However, seeing him was a rare occurrence. All this made you feel a bit like a stalker, but there was no malice in what you were doing, you simply wanted to see his face every once in a while. Sure, you saw him at school a bit since he was in your English class, but it was brief, and you barely spoke aside from the 'Did you get the homework?’ Or 'Bye.’. Besides, you’d kind of accepted a long time ago that there were the Jeff Atkins’, and then there were the Y/N L/N’s.

Today was a Tuesday. You’d had a particularly crappy start to the week and waiting until Wednesday for a sweet delight just wasn’t gonna cut it. Ignoring the fact that you had heaps of work you were meant to be catching up on- you’d been paired with Marcus Cooley in an English assignment. Now, Marcus was an alright guy, if he was an extra in your life, but for this there was no escaping Marcus’ main role for the next couple of weeks. So in short, you needed chocolate. As you opened the door to Blue Spot Liquors you headed straight to the confectionary, ignoring all else around you. Eyeing up the rows of sugary goodness, you eventually decided on a large bar of Caramel filled chocolate- you’d decided you needed to really treat yourself today. As you neared the counter, you froze for a second.
There, in front of you, scanning some diapers, was Jeff Fricking Atkins.

On a Tuesday.

He was wearing a form-fitting green Henley, and you were shook. Never in your life did you expect to find a man scanning a pack of diapers so damn attractive. But here you were. You sighed to yourself out loud thinking; why am I like this?

“You wanna buy that? Or are you planning on daydreaming some more?” A low chuckle broke you out of your thoughts.

“Oh- uh- yes- yes I do, here.” You stumbled over your words, taken aback, whilst handing him the giant chocolate bar. This was a bad idea. You thought.

“So, L/N, what’s the occasion? You trying to sneak food into the Crestmont?” He smirked at you warmly as he scanned the bar.

“Well, not exactly.” You avoided eye contact.
He nodded knowingly.

“I see.” He handed the chocolate back to you. “That’s $3, please.”

You fumbled around with the money in your hand, passing it over to him and ever so slightly brushing his palm. It felt like he brushed back, but maybe that was just your imagination. You smiled as you picked up the chocolate bar, your mind telling you to say something dammit, but your mouth not complying. You turned on your heel and started out of the shop.

“Wait, L/N!” Jeff’s voice sent a tingle up your spine. It was silly really, but this boy was something special.

“Uhh, yes?” You turned back to face him. He was leaning over the counter.

“Have you done the homework due tomorrow?” He asked sheepishly. You internally rolled your eyes. Of course.

“Nah, sorry.” You shrugged.

“-because I have, and wondered if maybe you needed a hand with yours?” He continued.

“I’m good, thanks.” You felt pathetic. Not only did Jeff have nothing to talk to you about, he thought you were stupid, too.

“Maybe tonight?”

“No Jeff I-”

“At the Crestmont?” There was slight desperation in his eyes.

“The Crestmont? You want to help me with homework at the cinema?” What an idiot, you thought. How could he be thinking you were dumb when he comes out with this crap. He wants to help you with homework at the Crestmont. Pffft.

He wants to help you with homework at the Crestmont. He wants to go to the Crestmont with you. The revelation was far superior to the sugar rush you’d been craving.

“Yes. I think we should go to the cinema tonight.” He pressed. You tried to hold back the smile on your face, you tried not to get your hopes up.

“Like… a date.” He finished. That was it. The smile broke free and you giggled slightly.

“Is Jeff Atkins really asking me on a date?” You teased.

“Yes, Y/N.” he bit his lip, leaning over the counter slightly further. “Soo… is 7 good for you? There’s this new film about-”

“Yes.” You cut in. You didn’t care what the film was about- you were going with Jeff.

He smirked.

“I’ll see you at 7 then L/N.” He began scribbling on a scrap of paper and slid it across the desk. You moved to pick it up.

“Text me the address.” He let your fingers brush slightly as he handed you it, making you realise maybe you weren’t imagining it earlier. You started out the door again as you shouted behind your back;

“Maybe Jeff. Maybe.”

Moon in the 6th house - Delicate Dressings

The Mother Goddess lends her lunar light to Moon in the 6th. From behind the shadows of the moon, ceremonies with the earth take place in the form of daily ritual and offerings. The individual is nourished through providing emotional support, solace, and restoration. There is dependency with Moon in the 6th. But it can be dependance on being depended on by other people. She can feel easily indispensable when nobody is there to love, advise, soothe, and lean on her for safety. It’s important for the individual to have daily work involving human interaction, sensitivity, and the promise of security. It’s possible that the type of work involves working with women, or on behalf of women and young children. She may be following the footsteps of the mother she never felt good enough for. She may also inherit her anxieties, health and dietary pattern, and problems with body image. The individual reads emotional cues with intuition and intellectual observation. She takes note of body language, eye contact, everything said and everything left unsaid. Intuition tells her when someone is distressed or trying to hide something. She can sense emotional experiences inside people that they long to share, but cannot find the right words for. She can help people find the right words so they can feel the weight of pain, fear, and horror rise from the inside and into oblivion like she is raising the moon in ancient ritual.

Moon in the 6th is like a hypnotic emotional sedative. She can put people’s restless and disturbed emotions to sleep. The individual is nonjudgemental, because she can see the wounds and experiences that trigger people to behave in certain ways. She opens herself up to let other people’s feelings in, she bears this weight and relieves their distress. This is the cosmic nurse at the hospice of heartbreak. She takes care of people like a natural mother, ensuring they are comfortable, fed, safe, and well. However, she is much less considerate with her own inner child. She is convinced that self-indulgence is greedy and immoral, she can have feelings of internal disgust or express acts of self-cruelty. Self sacrifice is a safe distraction from herself. She vanishes like a fairy and takes on somebody else’s problems. Ritualistic service and empathy eventually becomes exhaustive for the mind, spirit, and body with Moon in the 6th. But it can be incredibly difficult for the individual to stay still, relaxed, and take adequate rest. The nervous and digestive system is responsive to emotional stimulus, and the individual may suffer cyclic seasonal sickness or menstrual problems. High stress reduces immune efficiency so they become easily unwell and rundown. There can be anxious butterflies fluttering chaos in the stomach, even when there is nothing to be nervous about. The appetite can fluctuate and go through periods of craving dairy, sugar, and increased fluids. Emotions use the body like a direct message service. Somatic symptoms can be evasive, change, and remain undiagnosed because its the contaminated residue of unprocessed feelings. When she talks about and shares the the experience it can dissolve from the mind and body completely. There may be some level of health anxiety, fearing the worst when a new symptom emerges. The ambivalence and inconsistency of physical symptoms only exaggerates this response.

There is a pristine arrangement of emotion that Moon decides is acceptable for herself. She tries to compress her feelings inside a perfect glass heart box, maintain strict order, and flatten every emotional ripple. But this glass can be sharp and slicing. She can be ashamed by her own emotions, while continuing to validate and soothe the same in other people. She is concerned that sharing her distress will reveal imperfections and destroy people’s faith in her guidance. The individual prides herself as a problem solver, a sounding board, and warm hands to make everything better. She can make babies stop crying and help lost or injured animals. The base lack of self-care and comfort is basically altruistic, but it can impair her from offering full capacity and potential because she is unwell or burned out. Routine balances the inner equilibrium, and it’s important for the individual to maintain a daily sleep, diet, time out, and mindfulness schedule. It may be beneficial for the individual to eat heavier meals in the day and light in the evening because she can become bloated and anxious around this time. As she develops more self-awareness she gets in sync with the rhythm of her body and follows it verbatim. Routine is a comfort measure. Emotional instability causes her to rely on these until they become compulsive and self-destructive rituals. Work can become a second home for people with Moon in the 6th where colleagues are integrated like family. She may become very unsettled or personally involved with issues at work and find it difficult to detach herself. There may be difficulty finding and holding into secure and longterm employment. She may have to take considerable time off work to care for an ill family member or due to illness herself. Moon in the 6th is a lunar pharmacy that remains open all through the night and day, never turning away somebody that needs help or a safe place to stay.

If you were a teenager in the ‘90s, you probably remember Fight Club quite fondly as the counter-cultural classic that caused a generation to rebel against the mainstream by … going to see Fight Club. But watching it now, it’s hard not to see its flaws – like the fact that the bulk of the movie is about the trials and tribulations of being an affluent white guy whose central conflict is “I am dissatisfied with my comfortable lifestyle and well-paying office job during the economic boom years of the late 1990s.” And unusually for an anti-consumerist satire, this movie is filled to its grimy brim with product placement, including everything from Krispy Kreme to Starbucks and Pepsi.

So you’re an asshole for buying IKEA, but it’s cool to attempt to subliminally force your audience into craving brown sugar water? That’s like if An Inconvenient Truth was peppered with references to how super-cool ExxonMobil is.
