sudden addiction

Gertrude

As it turns out, they have their first fight about what to name their eventual first dog before they have their first fight about where to go on their first vacation.

They’re naked and they’re cuddling and Maggie’s body is wrapped around Alex’s because it’s been days but she still can’t get close enough, still can’t touch enough of Alex’s skin.

Still can’t fall asleep without her head on Alex’s chest.

Without her ear to Alex’s steady heartbeat.

Her fingertips are tracing patterns on Alex’s side and her lips are pressing gentle kisses along Alex’s neck, and suddenly she smiles into her skin, because suddenly, she’s both heartbroken and amused.

“What, babe?” Alex half turns, still languid, still hazy, still sated.

“Nothing,” Maggie soothes, not wanting to disturb her if she was drifting off to sleep.

Because sleep has been hard to come by the last few days.

“No, it’s okay – what?”

Maggie grins again and presses a few more thoughtful kisses to Alex’s neck.

“Why Gertrude?”

“What?”

“Dog name? Gertrude?”

“Oh.” Alex chuckles to herself. “You know I honestly couldn’t tell you? I mean, the name means strength. Well, spear, more specifically.”

“So you want a homicidal dog.”

Alex giggles, and Maggie wants to bottle the sound and listen to it for eternity.

“No. A strong one.”

“But Gertrude, babe? The other dogs on the playground will mock her.”

“What’s wrong with Gertrude?”

Alex is sitting up, now, and Maggie whines. Alex concedes, and lays back down, but facing Maggie this time.

Because Maggie’s not the only one with a sudden addiction to the other’s closeness.

“Nothing, babe, I mean, if that’s what you want. It’s just a little…”

“What?”

“Nothing.”

“Sawyer.”

“Danvers.”

“Maggie.”

“Old fashioned!”

“So you mock one of the last things I could have said to you as old fashioned?”

Maggie stills and Alex regrets the quip immediately.

“No, no, Maggie, I’m sorry, I didn’t – that was stupid, I’m sorry.”

“Yeah, it was.”

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s not funny, Alex.”

“I know – ”

“You can’t treat it like a joke, because it wasn’t, Danvers, I almost lost you! I almost lost you and then I would have had to go out and get a dog and name the poor girl Gertrude and it would have been your damn fault!”

“…. Maggie.”

“Alex.”

“Are you laughing or crying?”

“I don’t know. Both?”

“Both is okay. Both is good.”

“You don’t think I’m crazy?”

“I think you’re crazy about me.”

“Oh my god, Danvers.”

“Am I wrong?”

“I love you, Alex. I’m more crazy about you than I could ever describe.”

“So we can name our first dog Gertrude?”

“Absolutely not.”

How would the England, Spain, America, and Norway feel if their child fell in love with their worst enemy's offspring?

England:

“Which one?”

  • Honestly though which one? England has AT LEAST 2 (Historically France and Scotland are my picks)
  • Once he knows he will be super cautious around them
  • He will have some messed up idea that his enemies kid is only dating his for information
  • He will then spy on them whenever they go on a date, He could never let his baby have a broken heart
  • He will will confront his enemy to make sure this isn’t a sick trick they’re playing
  • He will eventually except it…after a 6 hour lecture and a helpful leaflet

Spain:

“…I’ll kill the puta”

  • Remember during the April fools episode when he had the aura and was really scary? Imagine that when they tell him
  • He would have to be held back or he will get his axe and slice people up
  • If he goes outside to scream, just let him. He will be easier to deal with later
  • He will hug his child with tears in his eyes, he is just an emotional man that is dealing with alot right now
  • He will confront whoever they’re dating with a smile…and a tour of his weapon room
  • He will never truly except it, he doesn’t want his child to grow up just yet

America:

“wHAT?!”

  • Wait, hold up. stop the bus HIS child is dating RUSSIA’S?!
  • America.exe has stopped working, for information or help please press 2
  • Get him a burger, a blanket and a corner, because he’s going to be  sulking in it for a good few hours days
  • He will have to be sat down by his child and consulted him about the whole thing, he will pout throughout this
  • Whats that? the WiFi’s down? It wasn’t him he was…watering the cat
  • He’s not a happy bunny, he’s a angry muffin (Why do i have a sudden addiction to muffins? XD)

Norway:

“… [Insert Wtf stare at child]

  • He has no idea who, what, when, where and why? happened
  • He just stands there and stares, he doesn’t know how to react except stare at them till it’s not true (Nice try Nor, it’s not going to work)
  • Calls the Nordics for advice, he won’t say anything he just calls them and waits for one of them to come over
  • They’ll probably all come over and find Norway on the floor face first. Sweden will have to take him to bed to recover
  • Coffee and a book will keep him in company for his recovery
  • Give him some time and he will get used to it…Eventually

nico-fucker asked:btw, why do you ship graylu? what exactly made you ship it? ;-; (tbh i don’t ship them romantically but i see a lot of chemistry between them)

(Note - the italicized sentences are important, please pay attention to them)

Let me tell you one thing at first, I tend to ship based on what I feel, doesn’t matter if the pairing is canon or not. If a pairing has good potential in my eyes, I am shipping it. And I am gonna either sink with it, or drown emerge victorious with it. That’s how I roll.

why I ship it? GrayLu can be interpreted as a platonic relationship. It’s neither a crack pairing, nor a canon one. It’s somewhere in the middle, in it’s very own special category. It has had its moment; some obvious, others demanding more attentiveness. How to put it… I love how unexplored the bond is, yet always sweet, pure, and natural at the same time? Like, sure their bond isn’t always the one emphasized. but when it does get some focus, it’s always something refreshing, and beautiful. The little moments they do get are subtle yet precious. I’ve never ever cringed at their moments, that’s a beautiful plus for me. The might not be real, but their interactions are.

When did I start shipping it? Gray and Lucy have been my favorites from the start, both of them are levelheaded and rational (and I like these kind of characters)  My eyes were always on two of them, so I’ve observed their relationship from the very start. How it developed etc. I’ve been shipping them for eternity in a way. Throughout the story, I’ve noted this little on-going attraction between them (but more from Gray’s side) that’s really sweet.  It means a lot to me. really.

Now the question is, how is GrayLu realistic? To be honest, I want to write an entire essay over it but as I fear it will get a little out of hand, so I’ll show you by an example instead. It’s going to be a little long, but please bear with me. I wanna share with everyone how much this relationship has grown over the few course of years, they’ve spent together based on my observation.

First let me discuss a few things, as these are gonna get relevant later.

As we came to know later in Oracion Seis arc; (According to Gemini) Gray thought’s about Lucy included the line that,”she’s pretty damn cute.” According to the anime, he might have had a slight interest in her as well. Now where did that interest came from? It didn’t magically pop out of nowhere, there were signs. There had been signs like him trying to impress her, trying to console her when she’s been depressed. There was a time (waaay back in the story) when Gray first showed her his magic and she commented it’s beautiful, but it doesn’t suit him.

See how he isn’t bothered by it. but when she tells him how everyone in Fairy Tail is crazy, he is bothered; he quickly says I’m normal! Now, I don’t see him the type who wouldn’t want to be grouped with his guild buddies just because he didn’t want to seem like a weirdo (I don’t see him as that sort of person)  Now, he might have had other aims (note - this is just my take on this scene) So what if he didn’t want to look bad in her book… Lucy is pretty cute, he even admitted it later. No one would want to look bad in front of such a cute girl, so did Gray. That’s how I read the situation now, after being a part of this fandom for a long time and analyzing this pairing from different angles.

On a side-note, he was right. He’s pretty normal as long as you ignore his exhibitionism.

Let’s move on to the real thing. Let’s go back to Galuna Island Arc, shall we?

So Lucy observes Gray throughout the Galuna Arc. She notices him getting weak on his legs and she notices. She even asks if he is alright. Probably that sparked an interest, because… near the end of the arc, we see Gray and Lucy flirting each other very casually. For now, let’s observe this moment… carefully.

On one look, it may seem that Lucy is worried about Gray’s injury, but one can say that it wasn’t her biggest priority. She already knows Gray is strong. Then what is it she’s after? Yes, She might have been trying to earn some points over him (look at the way she’s bending towards him, look at that exposed chest. She’s clearly trying to flirt) And I am fine with it, it’s good. They haven’t known each other for that long. The level of worry isn’t exaggerated, it’s subtle and realistic.

Then we see Gray flirting back. He says something thoughtful (but it’s clear that he’s trying to act cool at the same time) Later, When Natsu disturbs the sweet moment, he literally says that Natsu is getting in his way while he’s trying to say something cool– mean’s something, right? Sure, it doesn’t mean he loves her, but at least it says that he’s interested.

Now on Lucy’s side; we know that she had this obsession over trying to act seductive way in the beginning of the story, something she rarely succeeded at– often getting told that she’s not sexy enough. And here we see Lucy wink at him, and the flirting officially gets real– her arm is underneath her chest, she’s obviously trying to act mischievous. The interesting thing is, she actually succeeds in this particular attempt. Gray forbidding Natsu and him blushing while doing so means it did have some affect on Gray.

What I love about this particular scene is, how natural it is. Gray acts like a typical young adult and tries to win over the heart of a new-cutie-in-the-town– Something which could actually happen in real life… or at least I think so.

.

I am gonna skip everything and move on straight to Avatar Arc, time to discuss a parallel to the above mentioned scene.

A long time has passed. So much stuff has happened. Everyone has grown up a little, gone through various things, and have grown stronger. Of-course, Lucy has grown up, too. E.g. she isn’t trying to act seductive anymore. She knows her real charm lies in her natural cuteness, not in her ero ero-ness (i.e. seductiveness) Hence, why we rarely see her trying to charm others anymore.

So everyone has separated after the disbandment of the guild. Lucy is in pain. She has been among the most emotionally damaged– if not the most, as we see her desperately try to keep in touch with everyone. Then Natsu comes back, and she is relieved, she has found a hope. When they come to know about Gray’s whereabouts, she is definitely worried as he is among her close friends. she is still in a fear (what if everyone has changed, and don’t feel like coming back to guild anymore) but is excited nonetheless.

The reality is shocking. They find out that Gray has joined a dark guild, and he has completely changed. Things get worse, when he says that his former relationship with Lucy, and with everyone in the guild is a phony one. Now this is one of the key spots. Lucy is hurt– no, she’s furious.

Being told such cruel stuff (when her feelings for everyone including Gray have been as genuine as they can get) she weeps bitterly and goes as far as slapping Gray to bring his real self back. Note - this is the Lucy who is against violence, she slaps him- this sweet and kind lady does it. That speaks volumes on how much she cares.

We see Gray turn a little regretful, he wants to say sorry right away; but as it’s part of a plan (he’s just acting) so he has no choice but to go with it.

As soon as things settle down, Gray apologizes to Lucy, and he does it earnestly. There’s nothing fake about it, they have come in terms with each other. Lucy smiles, and forgives him; even says that she’s sorry for hitting him. It’s all so pure, and lovable.

That’s not the end, as we see a second scene involving mutual flirting, but this time, both of them are being honest to themselves. Gray says that being hit by a maid is a little… too much for him… And then he says he thinks of them as friends, hinting it’s an undeniable fact. It’s important. Gray’s acting natural, Lucy’s acting natural. Everything’s natural.

See? She didn’t try to press her chest together, she didn’t wink at him. She didn’t demand for attention either.  She’s just genuinely happy to hear his remark, she acts so pure and it’s genuinely cute. Now that’s what I call development.

“That’s great to hear…” she says. And he does this tiny blush-y thing, and it’s perfect. So simple yet freaking adorable.

My point? Growth. Both of them have changed. Their relationship has changed. Sure, there have been times when they haven’t talked like they used to, but it doesn’t mean at all that their relationship has gotten weaker or anything. in-fact, it’s only gotten stronger.

“In the past, back when they first flirted, both of them hid things from each other. They had just met, they were still young, and automatically, there bond was not that strong yet. They said one thing (showing worry) but actually craved for something more (trying to impress the other one. trying to act attractive) They acted like a typical 17-18 year old person does. As time went on and on, and as they traveled together, talked with each other, laughed cried; they automatically begin to care about each other. It just happened.

Now look at them laughing, look at them acting embarrassed. No fake-ness, no ulterior motives, no nothing. Now, both of them are adults. They are not teenagers anymore. They show what they feel. They are honest to each other and it’s freaking adorable. This moment turned their bond so strong that it’s unshakable.”

And that marks the end of the actual post.

Some conclusions

* Their bond is based on mutual care, and trust which never needed any sort of explanation, love-bites or chocolate. The actions were always more than enough.

* The subtle moments are beautiful; but as they are subtle, one might fail to catch them on their first watch (saying by experience)

*They both react similarly, which means they both adapt similarly to situations.

* Utter trust isn’t enough to keep a bond strong. Most bonds involve doubts, misunderstandings, and such doubts can only be cured by by discussing your problems with each other - that’s how it goes in real life. Same’s the case for this pair. It was never “if it’s you, I trust you no matter what.” for them. It is, “I trust you, but please never stop being you. I want you to stay the way you are forever.” and I think it’s both important and beautiful.

Some subjective opinons

* Their bond is among the most realistic bonds in Fairy Tail. it’s well-written, but is mysterious enough, which leaves lots of room for imagination. e.g. What happened after ——– *insert your favorite GrayLu scene*

*Please just give them the “most naturally developed FT relatonship award”  please.

*THEY NEED MORE MOMENTS. PLEASE GIVE THEM MORE MOMENTS.

Combine it with my biased-ness (which I tend to have for my favorite characters and pairings) and bingo; you have got my favorite pair.

I suck at explaining stuff, but still I hope that I was able to answer your question. Sorry it got a little too long, and thanks for the ask!

Fortune Teller // Spencer Reid x Reader

Prompt: “reader is complete opposite and they should hate each other but really can’t be without each other”

Requested by: Anonymous

A/N: I kind of turned this a different way but I hope it still was enough to satisfy you!

“How are they together?” Emily whispered in slight confusion to Penelope as they sat watching you and Spencer from afar. Spencer was trying to teach you how to play chess and your frustration with the complexity of the game was clearly written across your face. These sort of games were not exactly your cup of tea.

“Opposites attract?” Penelope suggested as Spencer moved his final piece, winning the game and sending you into obscenities as you cursed the wretched game. Spencer merely laughed at your outburst before asking whether you wanted to play another game which you hurriedly shook your head no too.

“Weird how they believe in such different things,” Emily commented as you took out a deck of tarot cards, a huge grin on your face as you shuffled them. Spencer’s eyes widened at the thought of having his future read, something he surely didn’t believe in. He was a man of science after all.

So it had been a bit odd that he had fallen in love with a girl who was the complete opposite of him. In reality you were what he always thought he would dislike in a girlfriend. You were loud, some would go as far as to say obnoxious, and your beliefs were the complete opposite of what he stood by firmly. Your brain was filled with mystical beliefs while his was run by rationality and logic.

While he would rather stay home and play chess, you would rather go out and seek adventures. This had led to various ghosts chases and even a midnight visit to a “haunted” hotel. Spencer didn’t believe in these things but you did and he indulged your curiosities from time to time just as you did his.

You were never a huge fan of Sci-fi movies but Spencer seemed to be an enthusiastic one which meant you had spent countless hours watching Star Trek and other sorts of the variety. And you certainly were never much of a fan of staying home with a book in your hands but had found that with Spencer’s company, you didn’t find the activity to be such a bore.

It was strange to think that someone his past self would have instantly hated was now the person who he couldn’t live without.

One of your favorite topics to debate was the existence of spirits, ghosts and other worldly entities along with clairvoyance. You were an avid believer, claiming that your grandmother had been a Romanian gypsy who had taught you all about the art of card reading and energies. You believed the universe spoke to everyone and all they had to do was listen. Spencer was a skeptic but had to admit that the way you got some things right was a bit unsettling to him.

You spread the cards out face down in front of him, instructing him to lightly run his fingers over the back and choose the three cards that spoke to him. He obliged with a skeptical grin, drawing out three cards randomly.

“So what do the cards say?” Spencer asked with an amused grin as they shifted over to your activity. You smiled as you turned over the cards he had chosen.

“Your past is the devil,” you said with a small frown as you looked at the tarot card with the red beast. Spencer’s eyebrows furrowed as he noticed your sudden sadness. “It symbolizes addiction. You were addicted to something that you struggled to let go of.”

He stayed silent at the card reading. He had not mentioned his previous drug addiction to you so you had no way of knowing. The fact he had drawn the card put him on edge as he gulped nervously.

“And my present?” he asked in an effort to move past the negative card. Your eyes lit up as you flipped the next card over.

“The Lovers,” you read with a small smirk, “which means you’re feeling fantastic in the area of romance and maybe even thinking long-term.”

“That’s very true,” Spencer replied with a small smile that caused you to beam.

“It can also mean that you’re so wrapped up in love you’re letting go of your finances, but we’ll save that for another day,” you added with a laugh. Spencer chuckled at the adorable way you got so involved with the reading, a gleam of excitement in your eyes.

“And the future?” He asked. You flipped the last card over.

“The star,” you said with a whistle. “That’s a really good omen.”

“What does it mean?” He asked, his mind clouded by the intriguing way you read his fortune. You always seemed to reach past his rational self, grasping at the small magical aspects left of his mind.

“Well, it shows good health which is a relief considering how many times you get shot at being an FBI agent. It also shows that you’ll be given opportunities and will succeed with them, which I don’t doubt because have you met you? You’re a genius. The universe is definitely on your side in the future,” you replied with a small smile.

“And it also means your relationship may reach new, much more fulfilling levels,” you added with a wink. Spencer smiled brightly.

“I wouldn’t doubt that.”

“Oh do me next!” Penelope interrupted excitedly as she sat next to Spencer in front of you. “Please tell me I’ll meet some really hot guy who’ll sweep me off my feet and jet me off to Italy.”

“Do me too. I could use the insight,” Emily commented as she sat on the other side of Reid.

You chuckled as Spencer laughed at his friends’ demands. He watched as you placed the cards out in front of Penelope, catching his eye with a spark of amusement.

“Go on. Pick a card.”

So basic all I had a dream about RTTE Hiccstrid this morning and everything that happens in this happened in the dream so if it doesn't really make sense in parts then you know why

Hiccup had told Astrid he wanted to stay behind and talk with her in the clubhouse as soon as the others headed to bed. So he watched the teens leave, leaned against a post. Astrid took a step closer to him, and he looked back at her, a small sly grin worked onto his face.

“So…what’d you and Heather do while I was gone?”

Astrid laughed. “That’s what you kept me back here for?” she giggled.

Hiccup shrugged. “Well,” he chuckled, “maybe I just wanted to talk to you.” Astrid smiled at him, biting her lip. His grin was adorable and the way his eyes glinted with an emotion she couldn’t recognize whenever he looked at her was addicting. A sudden sick feeling twisted the pit of Astrid’s stomach and her chest began to ache whenever he smiled at her like that.

Her thoughts reverted back to the chat she had with Heather earlier.

“You and Hiccup…so, you two are a thing, right?”

“What?! Pfft, no! Just. Friends.”

Astrid found herself uncomfortable somewhat, her emotions all jumbled and confused so that she felt upset and disappointed and sad all at the same time.

Hiccup looked at her closer, noticing the way she her expression changed with her emotions. Concern etched lines across his freckled face that just a second ago was filled with mischief and admiration.

He took a few steps toward her gently. “Hey…you okay?”

“What?” She refocused in on him, shaking her thoughts out of her head. “Oh yeah, no, I’m fine.”

He pursed his lips and looked at her skeptically. “You sure?”

“Yes.”

“Because,” he said slowly, “you seem…worried? No, that…that can’t be it, more like you have a lot on your mind.”

Astrid looked at the ground and then up into Hiccup’s eyes and nodded slightly.

Hiccup put his hands on her shoulders. “Like…like what?”

Astrid sighed. “It’s just…Hiccup, what are we?”

He seemed taken aback. He blinked. “Excuse me?”

Astrid stared into his eyes and told him, “Hiccup, Heather asked me today. She…” She took a deep breath, shaky and unsure. “She asked me…she asked me if we…were a thing.”

Hiccup blinked again, his cheeks growing red. “A…” He stammered and stumbled over his words, chuckling nervously. “A thing? As in–”

Astrid locked eyes with him and nodded. “Yes, Hiccup,” she validated quietly. “As in boyfriend and girlfriend.”

For a minute she thought she’d said something wrong. Hiccup hadn’t responded and he seemed indifferent. Astrid bit her lip again and looked at the ground.

“Are we?” Hiccup asked quietly. Astrid looked back up at him. He bore an expression she couldn’t read, one she’d never seen before. “Because…the past few years have been more like an awkward friendship…”

“That’s what I told her,” Astrid said. “That…we were just…friends.”

Hiccup looked at her. “And…”

“And she didn’t believe me.”

Hiccup put his hand to his forehead, rubbing it as he figured out the gist of it. “Are we really that obvious?” he asked after a moment. “Is…at least…is my crush on you really that easy to see?”

“Hiccup, Heather’s a smart girl. I’m pretty sure the others can’t tell.”

“Astrid, how is it not obvious? The least obvious thing about us is how close we sit to each other, and even in itself it’s clear. No wonder she thinks we’re together.”

“And that’s what we both want to know,” Astrid said quietly.

“Are we together?” Hiccup finished for her. They locked eyes again. Now Astrid could read his emotions. He had a sort of pleading, eager look in his eyes that was mixed with an unconditional adoration for her.

Hiccup blinked and stammered, “I mean, um, if, uh, if you want that, like if you want to–”

Astrid put a finger to his lips to hush him, and slipped her free hand into his. His cheeks were flaring now. Astrid hesitated. “Remember what I said earlier? About…even though Heather’s gone, I still have you?” Hiccup nodded. Astrid smiled at him. “This is what I was getting at when I said that.”

Hiccup blinked and Astrid laughed.

“You didn’t get that, did you?” She shook her head and scoffed. “Boys,” she chuckled.

She realized Hiccup was staring at her. He looked astounded and enamored with her. It was her turn to blink. “What?”

His cheeks reddened. “I’m sorry, I just…Astrid, you have a beautiful laugh.”

Astrid blushed. “Hiccup, I–”

“Astrid,” Hiccup whispered. His hand drifted toward her chin gently, tipping her head toward him. Astrid’s throat ran dry and she swallowed, her heart fluttering in her chest. Hiccup flicked his eyes over her face and hesitated. “C-can I…?”

Astrid understood and nodded slightly. Hiccup pulled her forward and kissed her on the lips tenderly. When he pulled away, he smiled. “So…not just friends?”

“No.” Astrid hugged him and pressed her face into his shoulder. “Like Heather said, we’re a thing now.”

“Well, when you think about it, we kinda have been a thing for the past year.”

Astrid grinned. “Oh, shut it. And…don’t tell the others.”

“DON’T FUCKIN’ COME ANY CLOSER—!!”

And he is there.

You’re breathless, eyes widened with your gaze centered on the sudden appearance of yellow and blue. In your shocked state, still unable to believe that you could have died moments ago, the blur that pierces your vision and takes away all your fear is the same person who’d asked you to help him with dyeing his hair because he didn’t know how to. The same person who’d stumble out into the rain for nothing except wait for you to arrive, the same person who’d shared with you how afraid of himself he was, the same person who loved sweets and had the same tastes as a child.

Heiwajima Shizuo, who had once seemed rather meek, was now uprooting a vending machine and hurling curses at the thugs, roaring, fighting—

I have this Dangan Ronpa headcanon that if Nagito and Hajime were in the same class where the teacher only gives out tests with multiple choice, matching, and true/false questions on them, Nagito, being the ultimate lucky student, naturally would get straight 100′s on each test without studying a damn thing. Hajime, on the other hand, being a Capricorn, would work his ever sweet loving ass off on each test and only get a B, and upon seeing that Nagito got a perfect score without even so much as opening a book, he would get so mad at Nagito for the next week or so by not talking to him/avoiding him and so on. And since I’m a komahina addict, the sudden cold shoulder would hurt Nagito, producing some good angst for the soul.

anonymous asked:

gom + nijimura on a train then suddenly a girl just sat beside them and smells so good they cant stop thinking about it... (i just wanted to see how they'll react)

Akashi Seijuurou: The thing that got his attention was the scent of jasmine flowers. He looked for the possible source of the wonderful scent and was led to a girl next to him. He’d be mostly staring at her, analyzing them and planning on how to talk her as he was curious of her now. He’d the most successful in talking to the girl and actually befriended her.

Aomine Daiki: “You smell nice”

He’d blurt out even before he realized he did. The girl next to him blushed at his statement and then he smiled at her adorable reaction.

Kise Ryouta: “Is that (cologne)?” He suddenly asked out of nowhere.

He took the girl completely by surprise then blushed when he realized what he just did. Then he watched the girl giggle and smiled. He introduced himself to her and she to him. Now every morning, he looked forward to seeing the girl.

Kuroko Tetsuya: She smelled liked Vanilla. Kuroko was too shy to approach the girl in the train and was contended of watching her from afar. She smelled like his favorite scent and slowly draw him to her.

Midorima Shintarou: His lucky item for that day is to be with a person that smelled like strawberries. He sighed as he entered the train and the first thing that he noticed was the scent of strawberries. He was suddenly pushed into the train by a wave of people, but the scent of strawberries seemed stronger. He looked down and saw a girl in a Shuutoku uniform. The scent came from her. He swallowed his embarrassment of what he was about to do and-

“good morning, I am Midorima Shintarou, will you be my lucky item for today?”

The girl blinked then smiled at him. She recognized his uniform and nodded then she introduced herself to him. She was supposed to be just a lucky item for that day, but it seemed like his mind and the universe had a different plan.

Murasakibara Atsushi: “I smell butter candy… may I have some?”

He politely asked the girl next to him who just ate the said candy. Himuro facepalmed behind him and watch as the girl give Murasakibara a butter candy. After popping it into his mouth, he smiled to her and patted her head.

Everyday, they would meet the girl and Himuro finally realized why Murasakibara’s sudden addiction to butter candies.

Nijimura Shuuzou: “I smell fried rice” He mutter. (lol)

The girl next to him jolted then shyly said that it was her and explained that she was cooking that morning. Nijimura looked at the girl for a while. She was indeed pretty and it was safe to assume that she cooks well. But does she have to smell like his favorite food. He abruptly change the subject and introduced himself, he’d be shy about talking to her at first but after a while  they grow comfortable of each other and even felt relieved that they go to the same school so that they may see each other more. But he was just distracted by the scent of his favorite food.

Now every time he ate friend rice, he’d picture that girl.

What Comes Next

A/N: I had this idea in my head and it won’t leave, so enjoy.  Also, the title is crap, but I’m tired and I can’t think of anything better at the moment.

Summary: Sam and Dean are finally hanging it up. While Sam is planning what’s next, Dean is just trying to figure out what he really wants out of life, and Cas is willing to do whatever it takes to secure his happiness, even if it means losing his own in the process.

It is surreal that the time had come to hang up the cape.  Sam would never admit it, but he is practically giddy with the thought of it.  He tries to hide it, but of course his Google searches on dog breeds and his sudden addiction to HGTV are about as subtle as a freight train.

Dean, however, is reluctant.  Whenever he thinks about leaving the life, all that he can think about was how he would eventually be dragged back into it.  He had tried the white picket fence once before, and it didn’t exactly agree with him.  So, he outwardly rolls his eyes at his domestic little brother, but on the inside, he envies the relief that Sam is feeling.

In a moment of weakness, he finds himself wandering out to the garage just to get a moment alone.  Sam’s happiness is wonderful, of course, but Dean can only take so much.  He perches himself on the hood of his Baby and cracks open a beer, watching as the bottle cap clatters onto the concrete.  The echo of it is worse than silence.

“Dean?”

Dean sighs as he takes a long drag from his beer.  “Welcome to the party, Cas.”

There is an awkward shuffle of feet.  “I’m pretty sure one person doesn’t qualify as a party,” Cas informs him.

Dean shrugs.  “Well, this is a party of the pity variety.”

Silence.  After a few moments, Cas moves to join him on the hood of the car.  Dean doesn’t dare look at him because he knows what he’d see: a furrowed brow and concerned blue eyes that are just way too damn sincere.

“What’s wrong?” Cas asks.

Dean takes another sip from his beer.  He opens his mouth to say something, but no words come out.  Instead, he can only manage a pathetic huff of laughter that feels as empty as it must sound.

Cas looks down at his hands.  “I thought you’d be happy,” he says in a small voice.

Dean does look at him then, and what he sees is an angel that looks like a kicked puppy.  It is then that he realizes: they had all been working so hard to get to this point.  Their end goal had been to give them all an opportunity to get out of the life for good, and Cas especially had worked so hard to get them there.  And here Dean is, moping around like an ungrateful dick.

Dean scrubs a hand down his face.  “Damn it, that’s not- I am happy.  Sam finally gets to settle down.  He’s safe.  That’s all I could ever hope for.”

Cas frowns at him.  “But, what do you want? For yourself?”

Dean shrugs.  “I used to know what would make me happy, but I don’t anymore.  The closest I ever came was when I was with Lisa and Ben.”

Cas winces, and Dean pretends not to notice.  That is a very difficult time for both of them to think about.

“Anyway, now I’m not sure.  I don’t know if there’s anything out there for me, man.”  Dean holds the bottle towards Cas, offering him a sip.  Cas accepts it.  “I’m okay here.  I’ll run the phones.  I’ll do the occasional hunt.  I’ll be a good uncle to Sam’s kids one day.  I’m okay.”

Cas shakes his head.  “Okay isn’t good enough,” he tells him sternly before hopping off the hood.  He hands Dean the bottle, and Dean moves to accept it.  Dean’s fingers brush against Cas’s and they freeze for just a moment as if compelled to by forces beyond them.  Cas stares into Dean’s eyes, and there’s that damn sincerity again.  “You deserve better,” Cas asserts.  “You deserve the best.”

Before Dean can say anything else, Cas leaves him alone with his empty bottle and his frenzied thoughts.

Dean comes back in about an hour later to find Sam parked in the library pouring over episode after episode of Flip This House.  Dean rolls his eyes and plops himself down in a chair across from his brother.

“Well, Martha Stewart?  How’s the research going?”

Sam smiles.  “I think this would be a nice way to live.  Buying trashed, foreclosed houses and fixing them up for families to start their lives in…it seems fulfilling.”

“It’s like a halfway house for…houses.” Dean frowns.

“Nice one,” Sam says, shaking his head.

“Okay, admittedly not my best,” Dean allows.  “You seen Cas?”

Sam raises his eyebrows and pulls his gaze away from the screen.  “Cas?  He’s here?”

Dean stares at Sam.  “Um, yeah.  He just came to talk to me in the garage like an hour ago?  He didn’t stop to see you too?”

“No,” Sam answers, disappointed.  “Huh.  I guess I’ll catch him next time.”

Dean massages his forehead as he feels a headache come on.  “I think I bummed him out.”

“How come?” Sam asks.

“Well,” Dean begins, sighing heavily, “I think he’s under the impression that I’m not happy.”

Sam considers this for a moment.  “Are you?”

Dean scratches the back of his neck.  “I mean, I’m not unhappy.  I’m fine.  I’m better than fine.  Things are good.  You’re happy, and that makes me happy.”

In response to that, Sam gives him the concerned puppy eyes that drive him crazy and closes his laptop.  “Why are you looking at me like that?” Dean snaps.

“Because, stupid, your happiness isn’t supposed to be all about my happiness.  Don’t you want more out of life than that?” Sam questions.

Dean groans.  “That’s what Cas said too.”

Sam nods.  “Okay, so I think that answers the ‘where’s Cas’ question.”

Dean squints at him.  “How do you figure?”

Sam rests his hands on the tabletop.  “Well, considering how hard he has worked to get us this far, I don’t think he’s willing to call it quits at ‘you’re happy, and that makes me happy.’” Sam tells him, doing his best Dean impression: gruff voice, scowl, and all.

Dean glares at him.  “I do not sound like that.”

Ignoring him, Sam continues.  “Can you think of what he might try to do to make you happy?”

Dean crosses his arms.  “How should I know?  Maybe if I go back to my room now it’ll be full of strippers.  The guy knows me so well, after all.”

“Did he ask you what made you happy?”

Dean tries to remember.  “Yeah, he did, kind of.”  He thinks hard.

“But, what do you want? For yourself?”

And that’s when he remembers: Lisa and Ben.

Dean’s heart falls into his stomach.  His throat closes up, and he looks to Sam like he’s about to pass out.

“Dean? Dean, what is it?”

Dean swallows hard.  “Cicero,” he manages.  “We need to get to Cicero, Indiana.”

It is hard for Cas to see the woman and child again after all this time.  After all, last time he had seen them, his life had been falling apart and Dean had been lost to him.  Of course, he’d be lying if he said that is the only reason why it is hard to see the woman that Dean had loved.

Cas watches silently from the front yard as Lisa sets the table for dinner.  Ben is older now.  He’s strong; he looks as if he could be an athlete.  Dean would be so proud to see the man he is becoming.

Cas sighs and looks down at his watch.  He has been standing there for hours now, unseen and watching.  He has come all this way to make things right after all of these years.  He has come to return the memories that he has been safeguarding for so long.

Back then, he couldn’t bring himself to completely erase all of those times they had together.  He had thought that eventually this day would come: Dean is free from the hunting life, and now they can finally be together without fear.

Yet, now that he is standing here ready to complete the task, he is unable to move.

How incredibly selfish he can be.

Cas hates that his own feelings are what stand in the way of Lisa remembering her love for Dean.  He wishes he could just let it go, but the feelings remain as a constant reminder of his brief foray into human life.  The seeds for them had been there since the beginning, but every chemical reaction needs a catalyst.

Of course, he will go inside.  He will restore her memory, and it will kill him to do so.  But if that’s what it takes for Dean to be happy, that is what he will do.

Just as he makes himself visible, a voice calls out to him.

“Cas!”

Cas whirls around and comes face-to-face with Dean.  He stares at the elder Winchester in surprise.  “Hello, Dean,” he says, unsure of what else he could possibly say.

Dean steps right up to him and searches his gaze with frantic eyes.  “What are you doing here, man?  Why are you doing this?”

Cas frowns.  “You said that being here was the closest you ever came to being happy.”

Dean shakes his head, but before he can say anything else, he catches a glimpse of Lisa and Ben through the window.  His jaw snaps shut, and he just watches for a moment.  The years have been kind, and Lisa is still as beautiful as she always was.  Ben is tall, and he is strong.  Dean feels a knot forming in his throat and he is at a complete loss for words.  Cas observes all of this, and his heart crumbles in his chest.

“I see now that I was wrong to think that freeing you from the life was enough,” Cas tells him softly, “I need to give you those that you love the most.”

Cas starts forward, but Dean catches him by the shoulder.

“No,” Dean tells him.  “I won’t let you.”

Cas turns to face him.  “But why?  You’re not a danger to them anymore.  You can have everything that you couldn’t have back then.  You can be happy.”

Dean grasps both of Cas’s shoulders.  “No.  You’re not getting it.  I don’t want this.”

Cas looks aghast.  “I don’t understand.”

Dean raises his gaze to the heavens as if searching for guidance before looking back at Cas.  “I told you that being with them was the closest I had ever been to being happy.”

Cas nods slowly as if Dean is speaking nonsense. “Yes…?”

“’Closest’ being the keyword there, Cas.  I wasn’t happy.  Not really.”

Cas says nothing.

“Sam was dead, or, at least I thought he was.” Cas winces again.  “I was a mess dealing with that.  The life I led there was nice, but it didn’t fit.  I never felt right.”  He makes Cas look him in the eye.  “And you were gone.”

Cas’s lips part in a look of surprise.

“You see, having you and Sam safe and happy is all I want.  All I need.”

Cas shakes his head.  “But you loved her,” he reminds Dean, his voice cracking under strain.

“’Loved’ being the keyword there, Cas. Past tense.” Dean’s gaze doesn’t waver.  “Truth is, I haven’t thought about Lisa in that way for a very long time.  Truth is, there’s a reason why things never fit right with her.”

Cas’s breathing quickens.  “Dean…? I don’t…”

Dean’s hands move from Cas’s shoulders to cup the angel’s face.  Dean smiles at him.  “I said before that I wasn’t sure what would make me happy, and I was being honest.  I didn’t know…until I realized what you were trying to do for me.  Until I realized that, all this time, you were what was missing.”

Cas licks his lips, and Dean’s eyes track the movement.  “So, you don’t want Lisa.”

Dean laughs softly.  “No. I want you.”

Perhaps it’s a bit awkward that they share their first kiss in the front yard of Dean’s ex-girlfriend, but they don’t really care all that much.  All that matters is that they figured out what it means to be happy.

And it was a perfect fit.

Norman Reedus interview for Hobo Magazine by Shawn Dogimont

“My buddy Norman Reedus makes his show The Walking Dead in the woods of Georgia, away from Hollywood. He’s had a unique career path and life in general. With his son Mingus, he sometimes makes me think of Ugami Itto in the manga The Lone Wolf and Cub. If you look, there’s even a theme of apocalyptic justice running through his work. He’s a longtime cult favourite, a really nice guy, and you just root for him in life and on screen. He’s poised for a massive breakout now but still lives in Chinatown. As he says here : « if it’s ever slow acting I’ll just do more art shows. » At the moment he’s doing less.”

Sehun is addicted to his phone, the majority of EXO think. He tries to be subtle about it, but everyone sees that he glances at it every minute or two. Sometimes, Baekhyun will tease him about it, “Yah, got a girlfriend, Sehunnie?”; Sometimes, Kyungsoo hits him before Sehun can.

But Junmyeon knows the truth. Kim Junmyeon, who watches over Tao like a hawk, has noticed that Sehun grips his phone with the same hand he uses to hold tightly onto Zitao. He knows that Sehuns sudden phone addiction is nothing more than desperation. Kim Junmyeon knows that every time Sehun looks at his phone, he’s praying to God that Tao has answered, told him that he’s okay, that he’s recovering; that he misses Sehun just as much as Sehun misses him.

notes-

  • Tao’s in china,, and he’s with his fam + recovering, so this is Sehun being lonely as hell, and Tao being too busy to really answer and ease poor huns worries
  • taohun ft mama suho because theyre the best 3tp exo has

Shawn Dogimont — I’ve got some questions prepared, should I just start?
Norman Reedus — Throw it at me, let’s see what you’ve got.

— You were born in Florida but you didn’t grow up there, you moved away quite young.
— Yeah, I moved from there very young. I don’t remember anything, I was just a baby when I left there. I lived in a few different places, Texas , Florida, California, Colorado, Tokyo for a little while, Motookubo in Chiba. London, at the end of the Northern line. I was in Spain in Sitges, for a little bit and moved to Los Angeles. I followed a girl basically, I went with a girl there.

— How come you lived in all these different places, throughout your teens and twenties?
— I just bounced around a lot
