I love how amidst all drama ryan and emma are smiling and all happy for moonlight cast..their work was amazing and both la la land and moonlight deserved the win..well done moonlight and graciously handled by la la land cast
idk about u guys but I’m really disappointed that Andrew Garfield didn’t win best actor for Hacksaw Ridge (although I think Casey Affleck was pretty good in Manchester by the Sea). Also, PLEASE WATCH ARRIVAL. Honestly my favourite movie of 2016 and it only won an award for sound editing :(
So yeah, go watch Hacksaw Ridge and Arrival right now! Two incredible films that I think deserved all the awards ever. Ooh, also Moana was ASTOUNDING. I cried at least 4 times while watching it because it’s so beautiful n heartwarming, so pls watch.
I’ll have to watch Moonlight too, as I haven’t had a chance yet, but with all the buzz around it I’m really glad it won best picture (since it’s so important and amazing to be putting an all black cast/gay coming of age movie in the spotlight!)
Honestly the Oscars were amazing. The big “mess up” was beautiful. The way the La La Land cast treated the Moonlight cast was just so amazing. Everyone who was nominated for ANYTHING deserved to win. Everyone is a winner at the Oscars.
Darn! I told myself I wouldn’t become too invested in a tv couple again.
I have been re-watching the Robert and Aaron wedding all weekend and their good-bye scene from Thursday. Each time I love those scenes even more.
The whole cast did an amazing job during the wedding. I love it when the Dingle’s celebrate and now we add the Sugden’s to the mix. I enjoyed Diane being protective of Robert, and I loved how Aaron’s face lit up when she called him her new son-in-law. The welly scene was one of my favorites, it meant the Dingle’s officially accepting Robert into their clan. I think that was very important with the theme of the episode prior was family. Robert wanting to show Aaron and Liv that they were a family, but in this episode also letting Robert know he gained a new family too.
Their vows were beautiful…..thank you Maxine. She did an amazing job in writing the wedding episode as well as Thursday’s. Monday’s episode was lovely as well. A good dose of humor all around. From Liv and Charity to Cain at Aaron at the end. I laughed out loud at Cain and Aaron’s scene. We were also introduced to Mr. Shifty ;) We also got some good scenes with Paddy and Aaron which were a good stepping stone to Paddy being at the wedding, Aaron thanking him at his wedding, and to Paddy showing some support to Robert after Aaron was sentenced. Paddy now accepts that Robert makes Aaron happy. I’m hoping we see more development with Robert and Paddy, especially with Chas being gone the next few months.
The next weeks….months….should be a rollercoaster of emotions for these characters, and I cannot wait see. Kudos to an amazing week of Emmerdale!
Today I wore my Winchester Bros t-shirt and my KAZ 2Y5 necklace, both of which I got at NJCon this year and which I was wearing for the first time. I knew Jared and Gen were in NYC and I was walking to the bus home, texting my friend jokingly that I was keeping an eye out for them. Two minutes after, I look up and I saw something familiar. A split second later I recognized who it was, and my legs legitimately turned to jelly and my heart felt like it had stopped. He noticed me before I even started walking up to him, and pointed at my t-shirt and gave me this big grin and said “Hey! Like your shirt!” And I said “Thank you!” and asked if we could take a photo. Gen smiled and offered to take it for me, and I asked her if she could be in it too, and she said “Sure!” I took out my phone and opened the camera, and Jared reached out and took my phone, saying with a little smile, “Here, let me take it. I’ve got longer arms!” And I said “Yeah, good idea. I’m too short.” And we took the photo and he said “Is that good?” And I said “Yes thank you!” He complimented my t-shirt again, and then noticed my necklace and said he liked it too. I told him “I just got them! At NJcon on Friday!” And he gave a huge smile and said “Oh cool! What’s your name?” I said “My name’s Tova!” And he said “Nice to meet you Tova, I’m Jared and this is Gen” and I replied “Oh, wow yeah, I totally didn’t know that” to which he started laughing, and as they walked away I told them I hope they have a good time in NYC, and they both smiled gently at me and walked away.
….I don’t think I’ll forget this for as long as I live.
The series will focus on the mysterious Shadow, a man who is released
from prison a few days early after serving a three-year sentence for
bank robbery when his beloved wife Laura is killed in a car accident.
Flying home for the funeral, Shadow is seated next to a man who
introduces himself only as Mr. Wednesday, and this man knows more about
Shadow’s life, both past and present, than is possible. Shadow comes to
learn that Wednesday is, in fact, the god Odin
of Norse mythology and that all of the gods that mankind has ever
believed in are alive in human form and live among regular people.
Shadow is soon thrust into a gathering conflict between the Old gods and
the so-called “New gods”, the gods of money and technology who believe
there is no longer room on Earth for the old gods.
