It's So Quiet In Here

So, I’m making a buzz! Hah! And perhaps those who have been following me for the past five months know what I mean – Giveaway alert!

Inspired by this outfit, Style Attempt is giving away 3 free shirts from Maven Magazine (c/o Penshoppe).

I got this shirt when Maven sent me free copies that I gave away last October. I love the fit of the shirt, it’s not so tight and not too loose either. Perfect for my body type.

To not look too casual (although a shirt and chuck combo would speak for itself), I decided to don a nice blazer.

I haven’t finished reading the Sept-Oct issue of Maven yet, but I already find the magazine a true must-read.

One of the reasons why I suggest you get a copy (of their latest issue of course) is the fact that the magazine offers articles catering to the various needs of women. It doesn’t focus on just one or two aspect (beauty or fashion for example) alone, it provides readers with valuable insights on different things like finding oneself.

Maven is definitely the type of magazine that’s worth your every peso.

Anyway, for this giveaway, I am not giving away any copy of Maven, instead I’m giving away 3 free shirts to 3 lucky winners.

Joining is easy:

1) You must be a Style Attempt follower (Tumblr or Facebook) and Maven

2) Follow me in Google Friend Connect (See sidebar for link)

3) Share / Tweet / Post this giveaway in FB (Tags: Twitter @ayeenregalado / FB @styleattempt)

4) Comment on this post with your name, email-address, and the steps that you did, and answer this question briefly: “I am a true Maven because…”

Contest until November 20, 11:00pm.

Join away guys and girls! :)

The Elevator Mirror

For the late part of December, I have been on idle-mode when it comes to taking my outfit shots. Even if I put on an ensemble that I think is worth blogging, I would always put the idea of having my photos taken aside. That explains why I seldom update my blog too during that time.

For 2012 though, I promise to improve as a blogger. Though my outfits and photos requires a great deal of enhancement, I know that I’d be able to be a better blogger in time. I’ll get there slowly, but surely.

Now in relation to the idle-mode thing, here’s a set of outfit photos that I took via the elevator mirror in our office.

No, I’m not pregnant, I just have an unflattering mid-section.

My phone’s Little Photo app is a life-saver. These days, I’ve been taking photos via my phone and just edit them out through LP. This isn’t because I just became a slack-blogger entirely but because we have yet to install Photoshop in our computer, plus my DSLR is not in the pink of health at the moment.

New year…I cannot wait for new opportunities. And well, for my blog’s continuous success, thanks to all of you. :)
