A/N: I just wanna take a moment and celebrate because I GOT ACCEPTED TO GRAD SCHOOL!!! And, so everyone knows, just because someone is in grad school doesn’t mean they’re mature. I ate chocolate cake for breakfast this morning… with my hands… But anyway, it’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted an update to Avenging Angel, and I finally got back in the groove. Hopefully things will start to move again. The storyline has been kinda slow lately, but we’ll get some dirty talking Sam in a few parts :)

Avenging Angel Series Masterlist

Land of Hollen. Raptor. 3-6 and 2 down.

Raptor. What the hell did that even mean?

You stared at this exact sheet of notes for countless hours, trying to solve this riddle. The Land of Hollen riddle hadn’t taken you too long. And even after finding the secret storage unit that your father’s key led you to, you still couldn’t figure out this stupid raptor reference.

But your father had had his hands in so many different pots that there had to be something somewhere, right? Contact lenses, nail growth formula, lunar effects… You just weren’t looking hard enough.

Kyuranger needs to up their comedy episodes, it’s rather lack-lustered compared to their serious episodes

So apparently we get to find out why Murphy got locked up in Season 3 and personally I really hope it’s something completely pointless and insignificant like writing ‘Jaha sux’ in Sharpie on the inside of a toilet stall or calling a particularly short-tempered guard a ‘scruffy looking nerf herder’

Love your blog!! I was wondering if you could do an imagines where the reader is Owen Grady’s sister who when she visits the raptors, especially blue, take a liking to you more than with Owen

Everyone goes through a dinosaur stage, at least in their childhood, some grow out of it, but others become an archeologist. However, your brother had become the trainer of the most fearsome dinosaurs that ever walked this earth, The Raptors. Like your brother you had a fascination of these prehistoric creatures, but you were not as fortunate to get such an extraordinary job instead you became an archeologist. So when your brother suggested you visit the park and watch him train his beloved Raptors you jumped at the opportunity.

You made plans to visit him soon as you were on a archeological dig for an internship led by the famous Dr. Alan Grant. Dr. Grant disapproved of your decision to travel to the Isla Nubar since you were his top student. You simply smiled and shrugged your shoulders, glad that he cared, but that wouldn’t stop you. You hadn’t seen your brother in roughly a year and missed him greatly.

A week later you found yourself on the docks leading into Jurassic World, staring at the park in awe. Your bright (e/c) eyes scanned the dock searching for your brother’s familiar face, but then fell when they landed on a woman with fiery red hair with a sign that had your name,
(Y/N) Grady, written in big black letters.

“She looks friendly…” You mutter under your breath as you trudged over to the lady who stood tall in her extremely high heels and wore a blinding shade of white.

“Hi, I’m (Y/N) Grady nice to meet you.”
You greeted in a soft tone, putting your hand out for her to shake. The woman rudely ignored your greeting and raised an eyebrow.

“Claire Deering,” She replied before turning around and stalking off to a small car, you followed her with a sigh.

“What did Owen do to her?” You wondered aloud. Neither of you spoke a word for the entire ride, making it uncomfortable and awkward. Then, as soon as you arrived at a large paddock, she instantly said goodbye and drove off before you could even utter a word.

You trudged over to the large paddock pulling your suitcase sighing for what felt like the thousandth time today when you noticed that only one man was watching over the paddock and this one man did not happen to be your brother. Even from a distance you could see that this man was up to no good, flashing you a maniacal smile when you started to walk over to him on the catwalk. You stole a glance into the pen trying to see the signs of your brother’s Raptor squad which he never shut up about when you skyped (not that you minded of course being a dinosaur freak yourself).
‘They must be in the cage or something,’ You thought.

“Hi, I’m (Y/N) Grady, Owen’s sister, I was supposed to meet him here?” You said nervously, taking a step back from the man as his eyes lit up. There was no question in your mind that something evil had filled his own.

“He got called to a meeting,” The man explained and you nodded your head, unsure whether to trust him or not. Suddenly something forced you forward and over the railing, you flipped into the paddock and landed on the ground with a large thump.

“What the hell, you asshole!” You shouted to the man, glowering up at his smirking face. He had no reason whatsoever to push you, you hadn’t done anything to piss him off yet! He only smirked down at you before rushing away much to your irritation. You were about to yell once more, but your instincts screamed against it for someone was watching you no actually four someone’s were watching you.

You stood up quickly, your vision blurring slightly before settling. You started out to scan the paddock for the Raptors, mentally smacking yourself for being so stupid. The Raptors weren’t in the cage. How could you think that they were in a cage when it was obvious that they watched from the shadows in the little jungle in their enclosure?

Alan had explained that the Raptors were extremely intelligent in great detail, especially when it came to strategic planning, so you knew that if these Raptors wanted you dead they would have already killed you. They must know that you were defenseless against their attacks, you didn’t have a gun nor any weapon for that matter to protect you from their deadly sharp claws. Why weren’t they going in for the kill? Curiously, you watched as four Raptors appeared from the tree line. They didn’t seem in any way hostile and you weren’t sure why, but you didn’t mind actually you were grateful.

“Blue,” You whispered in complete awe of the Beta Raptor who stood in front of her sisters. Just by looking in her eyes you knew you weren’t sure on why, but you knew that these Raptors were not going to harm you in any way.

Blue raised her head, seeming surprised that you knew her name, but began to approach you, her long tail swinging behind her as she walked. Your eyes widened in surprise when nudged your stomach, admitting a loud purr. Even the other Raptors seemed shocked as their beta purred like a kitten. Alan would never believe this…

Blue turned around quickly to face her three sisters nearly knocking you over with her long tail and let out a chirp. Blue looked over at you innocently, tilting her head to the side as you yelped. Charlie, the youngest of the four, responded with a chirp and was the first (other than Blue, of course) to approach you, she was nearly three feet away when a loud yell could be heard. She immediately jumped, scurrying back to Delta and Echo. Blue, However, remained by your side.

“(Y/N),” Your brother called out softly, approaching both you and Blue slowly as if you were in any sort of danger. “Don’t move I’m coming to get you.”

“Blue, Stand down!” Owen ordered in a strict tone and within in an instant Blue had immediately jumped in front of you, snarling at her Alpha who had just threatened to take you away from her.

“Blue,” You called softly to the beta who stood in front of you in a defensive poise ready to attack if Owen took another step. She turned around at the sound of your voice and tilted her head once more, letting out a small chirp. “He won’t hurt me, Blue. He’s my brother.”

“Good Girl,” Owen watched in amazement as Blue followed your order and affectionately head butted your side with a loud purr. Blue didn’t even listen to him yet his little sister seemed to have the usually fierce, aggressive Raptor wrapped around her finger.

“H-How’d you do that?” Owen asked in disbelief and you didn’t answer since you didn’t even understanding it completely yourself so instead you simply threw your arms around your older brother, hugging tightly. Owen responded instantly and hugged you back. “I missed my annoying, little sister…” He laughed, chuckling when the Raptors began to nudge around them, Blue pushes Owen away and nuzzled against you but not before giving Owen a good slap with her tail. You giggled and praised the Raptor with a scratch on the head.

“So, how’d you get in here anyways?” Owen asked with a raised eyebrow and you gulped ready to witness the murder of a man.

Shut Up And Kiss Me

Based on Anon Prompt: “ May I request a one shot where the reader is self conscious about herself until owen shuts her up and tells her she is perfect and beautiful and gives her a kiss”

You stand in front of the mirror grimacing. You hate parties, yet here you are, about to go to the stupid Five Year Anniversary Gala. You’re already feeling self-conscious in your red dress but you’ve already changed three times and you’re out of time. You walk out of the bedroom to find Owen in the kitchen eating a slice of cold pizza. The second you see him, your heart drops. You already don’t feel well and you have to go to the party with this Adonis looking, drop-dead gorgeous man standing in front of you. Rather than feeling lucky that someone as amazing as Owen fell in love with you, all you can think is what people will say.

What’s wrong with him, why is he dating her?

God, I would be embarrassed to be seen here with someone looking like that on my arm.

She can’t even hold a conversation, what does he see in her?

Your anxiety is building up as you imagine every possible scenario. Your hands begin to shake involuntarily and you can already feel yourself beginning to sweat.

“Owen, I don’t think I can go tonight. I don’t feel good.” You wrap your arms around yourself, already feeling nauseous. “I think I’ll just stay home.” You stare at the floor, embarrassed because you know he always sees straight through your façade.

Since you walked in the room, he hasn’t said anything, just leaned there against the counter with his mouth hanging open. You stare at him now.

“Yeah, Owen I know I look gross. Please can I just stay home, I don’t want-”

You’re sentences is cut short as Owen crosses the room in two steps and crushes his lips to yours. He slides one hand to your back and the other holding your cheek as your lips move together. Your lips part slightly for him, wanting more of him, but he pulls back and looks into your eyes.

“You look so goddamned beautiful.” His hungry gaze sends a shiver through your body and this causes him to laugh. He leans in for one more soft, teasing kiss before grabbing your purse off the table and handing it to you with a smile. “Now come on, we’re going to be late.”

As he pulls you out of the bungalow, your nerves are worse off than they were before. Now, not only do you not want to go to the party, you actually want to stay home and pick up where that kiss left off. You groan, and he looks at you out of the corner of his eye. He frowns and places a hand on your thigh; this does nothing to calm your racing thoughts.

“You really do look gorgeous.” He says, smiling at the path ahead of him.

“I’m going to look like shit next to all the other girls. I bet those stupid interns look amazing.” You worry your lip and try to keep your breathing calm. Right now, your brain is running through every possible screw up, embarrassment, and wrong step that you could do. It’s going to be a long night.

When you show up to the parks convention center, you immediately see all the people in black tie and feel like they look a thousand times better than you. Everywhere you turn, there’s a beautiful woman in a short dress and half of them want to come have a conversation with Owen. He makes small talk but brushes them off as kindly as he can, seeing that panic in your eyes.

“I’m going to go get us some drinks, okay?” He asks, taking your hand and pulling it to his mouth for a kiss. “I’ll be right back.” As he turns to leave, you look towards the door wondering if you could get home before he notices you’ve gone missing. Before you can form your escape plan, some tall blonde girl comes up to you.

“Oh my goodness, you look amazing!” She says this in an overly cheery voice and you feel slightly more confident until she continues. “So are you and Grady exclusive or is he like fair game? My friends said he’s a great lay and, I mean, it can’t hurt to ask, right?” She lets out a giggle and in her mind, she probably didn’t do anything wrong, but you feel like you’re going to vomit. You turn away from her without answering and look for somewhere to hide.

You know it seems childish, and someone finding you right now would probably just make things worse, but you lean your head against the wall you’re sitting against. It took a few minutes to calm yourself down from having an attack right here in public, but you couldn’t breathe properly and also still felt nauseous. You found a small hallway out of the main hall, past the bathrooms. You figured being this far out, no one would find you. That is, until you see Lowery turn down the hall and lock eyes with you. He frowns slightly and pulls out his phone while walking towards you.

“I found her; the hall by the bathrooms.” He hangs up and comes to sit beside you against the wall. “You okay?” he asks, turning his head to look at you.

You pull you knees to your chest, thankful that you wore a loose dress, and shake your head. He puts a hand on your back and rubs circles. “It’s not your fault,” he says, “You don’t have any control over it, so don’t be embarrassed.”

Lowery is such a good friend and you begin to get tears in your eyes before looking up and seeing Owen walk down the hallway. All you can imagine is him getting mad that you ran, and are making him miss half of the Gala looking for you. Lowery pushes himself to his feet and takes your hand to help you up. He puts his hand on Owen’s shoulder before telling you both goodnight.

You try to keep the tears in, but they’re running down your cheek now.

“Owen, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to run off, this girl asked if you were fair game and I just couldn’t stay there and you’re too good to be here with me anyway.” Your words were almost gibberish between your rambling and sniffling. “I don’t belong here I’m just ruining your night, Owen I’ll just-”

For the second time tonight, Owen cuts you off with a kiss. It stops your mind for a second, but it’s not fixing anything. You pull back, wiping your face and say, “Really, Owen, you’ll have more fun without me. I just need to go home.”

He laughs at this and leans towards you, pressing you into the wall. His lips are inches away from yours when he speaks.

“Y/n, you are absolutely perfect, and I love you just the way you are. I don’t want anyone else; I want you and everything that comes with you.” He smirks down at you, “Now shut up and kiss me.” He kisses you again, more slow this time. His arms wrap around you and he pulls you so close to him, his tongue finally slipping into your mouth. You love the taste of him and your brain goes foggy, forgetting the anxiety and fear and everything. Owen pulls away, chuckling slightly at how breathless you are.

“Let’s get out of here.” He says, smirking down at you before scrunching up his nose. “The liquor here sucks.” You look up into his eyes, not sure how you found someone as amazing as him. Smiling, you nod your head, not trusting yourself to speak. Owen really does know exactly what you need to hear. His words can get you excited, calm you down, make your forget the world around you and, at a moment like this, make your clothes practically fall off your body. You can guarantee that you have more fun in your night-in tonight than any person at that stupid Gala.

The 100 3x15 - Natalie is dead, Part 1

I was so very tense throughout this episode. There was a lot of screaming, but it was honestly WONDERFUL.

This is going to be a full recap (when I say full, I mean it…it’s LONG) this week, because I’m actually at home today AND I loved it so much I want to watch it forever.

If you romanced Garrus and didn’t feel a lump in your throat during this scene you are a liar.

codeine-fiends  asked:

Can someone please explain to me why Jurassic Park 3 gets so much hate?! It's my personal favorite next to Jurassic world.

You know as a kid I LOVED Jurassic Park III. I think I watched that one more than all the others. It wasn’t my favorite, but I guess because it had a lot of dinosaur action and that was always the most important thing.

It gets a lot of hate because of this girl:

What seemed to be an awesome dinosaur fight turned into a hardcore Jurassic Park fan’s worst nightmare. The fact that the Spinosaurus took down and killed a T.Rex so easily pissed off a lot of fans–considering how the T.Rex in the previous two films was established as the ultimate badass. A newcomer in the series killing off the king of dinosaurs was not a welcomed idea.

Another, I think, was the characters in the film. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler are still pretty awesome, and Billy is pretty alright (but pretty stupid for stealing raptor eggs). A lot of fans think that the Kirby family is incredibly annoying–especially Amanda. There was also the fact that the running time is significantly shorter than the other films and that the story was pretty weak in comparison.

I will say that if you can look past hating on the Spinosaurus, Jurassic Park III is really fun because there is SO MUCH dinosaur action. I get why it gets hate, but it still has entertainment value.
