Corpus Christi Keeps Things Tight

We just got back from Corpus Christi, TX, and while it was closer to fall break than spring break, the city knows how to party. ILYAILYO screened at the South Texas Underground Film Festival, where we fell in love with the city and its community of independent film makers. Incredible people, amazing food, and awesome films - everyone should put this festival on their calendars next year!

In addition to screening ILYALYO we saw some pretty awesome new work - a few things to check out (in alphabetical order):

Dwellings Close

Must Come Down

It was an honor to screen with such creatively good pieces!

In addition to screenings, karaoke, and shenanigans with fellow film makers we had to hit the beach and taste the local fare. We stuck to the three main food groups: bbq, tacos, and seafood (and of course stopped at Whataburger). Oysters baked with cocktail sauce, cheese, bacon, and a slice of Jalapeno?  Barbacoa on a fluffy homemade corn tortilla? Yes, please!

Tacos by day; tacos by night.

And, finally, the beautiful beach!
