Just some sketchbook-y things: top photo is from my guest spot at Wonderland Tattoo in Portland with alicecarrier, which having a flash sketchbook is my choice way of travel tattooing. (props to this client has A+ nail color) Bottom: a shot from my increasingly chaotic drafting table, since it seems like I have lots of irons in the fire - my sketchbook with my motorcycle helmet painting in process, and my scummy blue veins.
ART SCHOOL | Jack Graydon (OR) | Vans US Open of Surfing 2017
Our next featured artist and participant in this year’s 2017 Vans US Open of Surfing is out of Portland, OR, artist Jack Graydon aka Tolietsnake. This traveling, skating, and painting talent has been creating his works for some time now–from walls to trucks and hidden places in Thailand. Graydon’s style is never stagnant or stiff, but rather ever-changing, adapting and exploring its boundaries, much like the artist himself. We’re stoked to feature Graydon’s work and find out his approach to large scale murals, how he started painting, and what event he’s looking forward to seeing at this year’s 2017 Vans US Open of Surfing.

Seen this floating around the web so I figure It’s safe to post. Recently I’ve been working with Boom! Studios, drawing covers for some of their Cartoon Network titles. Here’s the first one I did!

It’s time for a new issue of Uncle Grandpa, starring me, Pizza Steve! Uncle G may be the Uncle and Grandpa to everyone ever, but he has a lot to learn if he ever wants to be the coolest slice of pizza to ever put on a pair of sunglasses and pull off the most wicked pranks.
Here’s one I’ve been working on recently. This will be available to buy as an art print in my shop. It’s a very appropriate piece at the moment, as I’m currently working towards passing my category A motorcycle test.
Eun Sang had been in the middle of doing her history homework when Young Do had yanked her out of Myung Soo’s studio and onto his motorcycle. He wanted to go on a date but at the moment she was beginning to feel more like she was his babysitter then his girlfriend.
“Because I don’t want to.”
“Ya! I heard you call Myung Soo it last week!”
“He gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse.”
She felt a pain in her shin. He had kicked her!
“Oi! Choi Young Do! Do you wanna die?”
“Yes, my heart hurts and I can’t think of a better way to die then by your hands.”
