strawberry bento box

Happy Valentine’s Day lovies!

I made Bryan a bento to take to work with him while I have the day off to pamper myself before making him dinner with an avocado chocolate mousse for dessert, his favorite.

Today’s lunch is roasted cauliflower, steamed broccoli florets, grilled asparagus spears and baked chicken breast with hearts I cut from red pepper. A sauté of green and yellow squash and carrot ribbons and a vibrant red fruit salad of strawberries and raspberries.

Hers; vegetarian, dairy free bento with seeded spelt toast, freshly cut corn and avocado (for mashing on the toast…mmm) and a hard boiled egg. Followed by strawberries, walnuts and unsulphured dried apricots
