My favourite pairing of arugula with pear has been superceded by the arugula and grilled strawberries duo. The spiciness of the arugula needs - you may think this sounds dramatic, and it is - the sweetness of the grilled strawberries to compliment it. My two cents on this amazing salad:
Make the balsamic glaze amazing by reducing the leftover liquid from the roasted strawberries instead of just normal balsamic vinegar
If you’re not vegan, have this as a breakfast, brunch or lunch salad with poached egg…this needs to be done. And send me a picture while you’re at it.
