Cors y Gedol Burial Chamber, North Wales, 12.4.17.
Last time I visited this site was in the last day of 2016. Very different weather this time! One of my favourite prehistoric burial chambers with a notable capstone. It is roughly 84ft in length and likely built in the Neolithic.
Stone Curlew incubating eggs. Keeping a low profile is what the stone curlew does best. When confronted with danger these birds either scurry away to cover, or freeze on the spot hoping to blend into the background.
