I am Still a cartoon lover

I was born with a pineapple under the sea,

I learned things in Cyber Space,

I was raised with kids in the cul de sac.

I found the escaped experiments in hawaii,

I saw ghosts in the town of Amity Park,

I watched Weird World with the Saturdays,

I had misadventures to find Candy Island,

I trained with teens in a T shaped tower,

I defeated the Fire Nation,

I fought in the Gem War,

I survived Weirdmageddon,

I broke out of St. Olga’s,

I made it over the Garden Wall,

I had silly adventures in the land of Ooo,

BUT I’m not done yet!

CUZ I NEED THAT SAUCE MORTY!

(I made this as a redo on my original “I am a Cartoon Lover” showing where my love of cartoons began and how I grew up with cartoons because why not?? As I am still a cartoon lover no matter how old i grow)

  • [Padawan!Anakin has locked himself in his room]
  • Obi-Wan: You are so finished when I get in there! I’m gonna stuff you in the blender, push puree, and then bake you into a pie and feed it to the Jedi Council. And when they say, “Mmm, this is great, what’s your secret?” I’m gonna say–
  • [Mace Windu walks by and stops to look at him]
  • Obi-Wan: Patience…and compassion.

Now that she’s received it, I can post the finished BB-8 cross stitch I made for @bomberqueen17! I started with the excellent Rollin’ with my Homies cross stitch pattern and substituted a verse from the lullaby Poe writes for BB-8 in her Home Out In the Wind series.

A huge part of the plot revolves around BB-8’s unusual intelligence, adaptability, and loyalty. Poe treated B more like a child than a droid, correcting misconceptions instead of wiping memory. As a result, BB-8 loves Poe like a parent. And, it turns out, a lot of other droids know the song, too. Like, a lot.

I had a great time stitching this, and my son had a great time watching and checking up on my progress. “You finished BB-8′s head! Good job, Mommy! Read it to me again!”

Forgot to post this one when I got home yesterday! Another cross-stitch done! The pattern again is from @parvumautomaton ! Seriously their patterns are amazing! I did however make one significant change and that would be the thread used for Ahsoka’s skin. I used 922 instead of 720. And the detail backing is styled to match my previous cross-stitch of Obi-Wan Kenobi (viewable if you click the ‘My Hobbies’ tag on this post). Next up is the final member of the Sass Squad!
