OK SO, Make up box review!

So I looked online for a WHILE at monthly make up box subscriptions and Birchbox was my favorite. This review is for the July 2015 box.

1.Look at the box in the first pic, isn’t it pretty? So pink. So geometric.

2. “Go Bold” is a philosophy I can definitely get behind.

3. So I got a Stilla Look At Me liquid lipstick. It was bright ass orange, and it goes on matte. I honestly loved the color, but I personally enjoy really bright lipsticks. The matte texture is one I don’t particularly like, especially cause I feel like it dries my lips out, but the color stayed on all day.

I also got Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer. (why was that so much effort to say, oh my god.) It’s just a like…primer for your hair? You’re supposed to put it on your damp/dry hair before you use other products and style. IT DIDN’T REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO ME? Or at least, not a notable difference. I’m always down for using more shit on my hair though because it’s fun, so I guess I’ll keep playing around with it.

ALSO, I got Vasanti Bighten Up!  Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator. (i am offended by all these names, what the hell.) It’s a face wash/scrub! It’s really nice. AND I needed to buy a new one anyway because the one I had was running out so, nice. It’s safe to use three or more times a week, but I’ve only used a once a week so far because my skin is pretty average. It smells great too.

The perfume is  Harvey Prince Hello, Limited Edition. I usually don’t wear perfume because I have severe and absolutely unnecessary allergies, but this one actually didn’t bother me at all! It smells like citrus, and it’s a light scent for how long it lasts. I like it so much that I don’t wanna use it all right now because it’s a tiny bottle and it’s currently sold out.

The sunblock is called Supergoop!® Anti-Aging City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30. (supergoop) (spf 30????) (SUPERGOOP, THE GOOP TO SAVE THE DAY) I’m sorry ok. This was sunblock! I had no opportunity to use it for the longest time, that’s why this review took so long? HOWEVER, I used it when I went out to a farm this past weekend and it was surprisingly great? Like I don’t burn in the sun, but the heat will make me sweat and it fucks with my skin something terrible. But I used it on my face and neck and I didn’t turn red at ALL and IT DIDN’T ITCH I JUST GOT A TAN, IT WAS NICE

So yes, that sunblock is fab.

I really really enjoyed this box? It was great and had cool products to look into. I’m really found of the perfume though, because I have honestly never been able to wear that without dying.

In the song “Show Me”, Y.R. Generations leader Conscious Leo enlists the powers of C-Stilla & Matt Lucas, challenging listeners to look deep within their minds and find what truths may lie. While unitizing visuals from the anime Yu Yu Hakusho, using some of the ideology and mythology portrayed in the anime about the concept of the “Third Eye”. “The third eye refers to the gate that leads to inner realms and spaces of higher consciousness. In New Age spirituality, the third eye often symbolizes a state of enlightenment or the evocation of mental images having deeply personal spiritual or psychological significance.” This term is often used within the “conscious black” community, this video can speak to not only to the black community but also the community of people that enjoy anime in general.  The links below will transfer you to our sound cloud so you can listen to our message.
