Keith, always twice as anxious before a fight after he starts dating Lance because he’s not used to worrying so much about losing one specific, important person like this, dragging Lance away somewhere private to celebrate their victory just in case there’s not a next time
“You’re probably hungry, so please accept this peace offering!”
He wants me to eat that thing?
Okay so, this is a Shance au based heavily on an anime I saw in like 2013 called gargantia on the verdurous planet.
Basically: Shiro has been in space his entire life preparing to fight in a war that’s purpose is to save the human race
But during a battle gone wrong. Shiro and his ship (aka: black lion in mecha form lol) get thrown way off from the objective and become suspended in space, to save the pilots life Shiro falls into a period of cryo stastis and when he wakes up he finds himself on earth. A planet heard of only in legends, and (supposedly) where the humans first originated from.
Earth is now almost completely covered by water, and all the humans (including Lance Keith Hunk Pidge Coran Allura Alfor Shay ect.) live on big floating man made islands.
Now Shiro has to find a purpose for himself, something he’s never even imagined doing, while also adjusting to a peaceful life after years of war and hardships and barely anything enjoyable, luckily he meets a very kind person (ya boy LANCE) who’s more than willing to help him adjust.
besides me being a fashion bombshell, even in the midst of wwii, the jacket was nice and warm and full of pockets. which is always a nice thing when you have to literally carry everything you need with you everywhere you go.
but on top of that, i grew up with tiny pre-human-lab-rat steve. among a very long list of medical issues which fueled his must-punch-everything attitude, steve was colorblind. (in a very typically steve move, he decided to become an artist, despite not being able to see half the colors out there.)
the modern term for what he was is ‘protanopia’ which is a type of red-green colorblindness which meant his ability to see the color red was not so great. pretty much everything in the red spectrum got toned down to taupes and greys, and yellows and greens were kinda muted. but his ability to see the color blue was basically unimpaired, so blue things stood out in his field of vision. back in the day, i wore a lot of blue because it was easier for steve to spot, and somewhere along the line it just kinda became my favorite color, and i tended to pick blue clothes out of habit.
these days steve’s favorite color is red, just for the novelty of being able to see it.
They portalled into the loft, bags laden in each hand, Magnus with a soft smile on his face whilst Alec gestured at the bag in Magnus’ hand. Or rather the teddy bear in one of the bags Magnus was currently holding. A teddy bear that was easily half their size and was definitely taller than their guest—rather, his guest, seeing that Alexander still hadn’t moved into the loft yet.
A guest Magnus had insisted on getting the teddy for.
“Seriously Magnus. Why would you get her something so big?”
Magnus ignored the words, his mind working fast at the spells he was planning on casting on said bear.
“Because it’s the perfect size Alexander.” He spun around and caught the half raised eyebrow that Alec leveled on him.
“Seriously? That thing probably weighs more than her.”
“And she will love it. Won’t you sweetheart,” Magnus crooned, causing Alec to turn around as the two of them met Madzie’s cautious eyes. She hung by the door, eyes dark and suspicious as she stared at the pristine white fluffy teddy that Magnus carried.
She looked so much like Alec had when he’d first spotted Magnus heading into the store to pick up the teddy bear, that Magnus found the corners of his mouth tilting up into a smile.
The suspicion still remained in her eyes, but she returned his smile, tentatively.
Magnus spun around and crowed. “See? She loves it.”
Alec snorted. “She’s smiling back at you Magnus.” He gestured at the teddy and smiled. “Not at your gift.”
Magnus rolled his eyes. “But that’s because the gift isn’t ready yet.”
