still got lots to go

Decided to check back in for a bit and saw I got tagged by @stariousfalls to post my background and lockscreen, the last song I listened to and a “pic” of myself. Thank you, friend. ❤

My lockscreen is of the boys, of course, and my background is of the drawing I did. Last song I listened to is Intention by Kiiara. I’ve been listening to it non-stop for awhile. Erm…. Still not really comfortable showing my face so here is one of my many bags. XD Maybe one day. Just not anytime soon. ^^;

I think people might have done this so I’m not really going to tag anyone. Maybe next time. And now I’m going back to my break.

i got sidetracked from working on birthday gifts and asks….

so the year seems to be coming to an end and i’ve seen a few people do these already so!!

Also, heads up! no new chapter this week, Koogi states something about getting the manuscript more done before moving on with the story. 1/6 means we still got a lot of content and chapters to go in the overall series~

So tune in next time, on the 13th (KST which is the 12th for us) for an update/new chapter.

Their blog on naver is also listed for those who don’t have twitter who can follow her account there. :)

kat how did you loose 60 lbs. ive been trying to lose weight but struggling

i have a very strict diet and i exercise a lot. i drink tons of water. i take a probiotic every morning. i eat six meals a day. i’m gluten-free, i try not to eat anything frozen except for vegetables and things made of vegetables. (and bread, because gluten-free bread has to be frozen.) i eat six-eight times a day, and i allow myself one cheat meal a week. i box three or four times a week, and i try to walk at least four miles a day. oh! and i cut out alcohol except for special occasions.

the most important thing, i think, is to have a good support system. i go to boxing class with friends. i bring my lunch to work with a friend. i tried to lose weight a few years ago, and my friends said they were supportive but then they’d not be. they’d only want to hang out in bars or unhealthy restaurants. so finding people who support and respect your choices is really important.

Happy monster brothers are always good

Here’s a drawing of Leia I did for @baebae-great!

  1. -:: There is not a character sheet for her yet! She is designed, though.
  2. -:: Well we can’t spoil that, but it may or may not be related to the fact that she hoards things.
  3. -:: Well, both Mago and Mago berries are very sweet but tough-skinned. They’re also both not the least bit straight.
  4. -:: Generally speaking, the fashion does vary. Yellow District gems are very rigid, skin-tight suit oriented with work uniforms. Lots of symmetry and contrast between dark and light colors in suits. Blue District gems have more casual clothing, think asymmetrical designs, looser/poofier clothes, stuff that people would spar in on dusty training fields. But, then you have high-class Blue District gems that have often poofier clothes or simplistic dresses. Dark colors. White District gems are of high class visually, and their outfits are often the least practical, but the most flashy. They bear elegance, even in their simple work uniforms. You’ll find lighter colors and even pastels.
  5. -:: VT meant to reply to this with a picture but ran out of time. We liked this piece of music and we can see how it’d fit! Thank you!

>>First studyblr post!

Hey everyone! I have a lot of names, but here you can call me Maka. I’m from Hawai’i and going to school in the state of Washington, majoring in Creative Writing, and minoring (hopefully) in Film and Visual Narrative, and Biblical Languages. I’m also self-studying Japanese (+ I read manga watch lots of anime!), and have a strong music background (+ I’m a vocalist and guitarist)!

I’m starting this blog because I learned a lot about keeping myself motivated during my freshman year, and don’t want it to go to waste. It’s summer vacation now, but I’ve still got a lot going on, and a lot that I want to learn. Please don’t hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions for me, or just want to chat! This is a secondary blog, so all follows will come from @kawaimakaokalani ~

I look forward to studying with all of you!
