Notes: Honestly, I’m kinda mixed about this entire thing? I don’t think it’s as good as some of the other stuff I’ve written. The idea was so good for this too! I got the idea from an episode of Attack of Titan while I was in my slump. So, please, any feedback ya’ll have would be appreciated.

Warning: smut, jealous!Derek, rough sex

Pairing: Derek Hale x Reader

Summary/Request: Thank you anon for your request!

Derek gets extremely jealous of Y/N staying over at Stiles’ house which leads to some very rough sex.

A clatter tore your eyes away from the maths books in front of you. Stiles was lying sprawled across his bed, his books now lying in a mess on the floor. You sighed and got up from your seat, moving to lift the books from the floor.

“Stiles?” You shook him gently. No response. “Stiles!” You shouted which scared him awake, so much so that he fell off the bed and landed at your feet. “I guess we’re done studying then?”

~3k, rated T

Sterek ficlet inspired by this: “i grew up not knowing i was royal and now i guess i’m heir to a throne and you’re the guy who’s supposed to be teaching me how to be royal bc i suck at it and oops we made out” au

This is kind of Princess-Diaries-ish. I know that’s been done before in this fandom (and thank god it has—it’s awesome), but I couldn’t help myself. Yay for self-indulgence!

Stiles thought the most annoying thing about suddenly being a royal heir to a small eastern European kingdom he’s never heard of would be the hyper-aggressive paparazzi, but he was dead wrong.

The most annoying thing is actually Derek Hale, the guy Stiles’ grandmother hired to teach Stiles how not to screw this up.

“Princes don’t chew with their mouths open, Stiles.”

“Princes don’t shove an entire fistful of curly fries in their mouths, Stiles.”

“Princes don’t wear pink-and-green plaid shirts from Target, Stiles.”

“Princes don’t slouch.”

They don’t slump, either, or yawn or sneeze or cough in public, or fist-pump, or drive beat-up old blue Jeeps, or wear bright colors, or rock out to the radio, or do anything fun.

Summary: Stiles just wants something to take with him to college. Something special.

Notes: I’ve been wanting to poke fun at this inconsistency in the show for a while, and I finally wrote it! Just another excuse for a little fluff and humor. (On AO3)

Derek grabs a few of Stiles’ heaviest boxes (but not enough to be suspicious, who knows if the neighbors are watching), and slides them into the back of the jeep with the rest of Stiles’ college “essentials.” He’d said he was only taking the bare minimum, but Derek is beginning to doubt that.

At this rate, they’re going to have to pack some stuff in the Camaro, too.

For the sterek bingo because I felt bad that I couldn’t contribute art for this event so here’s a little thing I dished out, hope it’s not too bad seeing as I’m not a fanfic writer and I wrote this on my phone

– Themes: Harry Potter AU/ Fullshifted Derek

Harry Potter AU where Stiles and Scott are being their usual delinquent selfs and fooling around in the forbidden forest looking for centaurs or something, their search is interrupted when they realised that they have been followed by one of the professor on duty.

The young Slytherin and Hufflepuff decide that it was best to split off into different directions to avoid being caught. After he was separated from Scott and deep into the forest, Stiles encountered a wolf. Not just a regular wolf by any means, this wolf hulked over him and had a pelt as black as the night itself.

The strangest thing, Stiles had thought, was not it’s sheer size but the intelligent eyes that returned his gaze-almost as if they staring right into his soul.

Occasionally the wolf’s eyes flashed from a natural yellow to a vibrant blue and the Slytherin somehow knew that this beast thought of himself as predator but that didn’t necessarily make him a killer.

The wolf had grown tired of the silent standoff and with a huff the large canine trotted off with a soundless gait disrupting not a leaf from the forest floor. Stiles, the ever curious creature he was, followed the predator whilst leaving a wide berth.

Stiles was then lead down a path by the great canine, who he was coming to be more and more convinced was part werewolf.

No matter what Professor Hale had said, Stiles thought indignantly. There is no way all of Hogwarts local wolf pack - which is said to have a strong lineage that traced all the way back to the first ever werewolves- were hunted to extinction, not when this creature was practically living proof.

The wolf brought them to large clearing. Stiles had to squint through the darkness, ah, the Whomping Willow. Good thing him and Scott have used the Shrieking Shack many times as a hideout ever since they were 11, or else this would of been extremely daunting to get by the tree.

Once he weaved by the menacing branches, Stiles was able to follow the paw prints. As he climbed shaking staircase a mortifying howl was released by what he presumed was the wolf, he started to take to steps at time to help the poor creature.

As he barged though the door all he could see was a man withering the ground in immense and horrifying pain, seemingly only had enough energy to pull up his pants, and -

“Professor Hale?”

Help (i need someone)

This was supposed to be a few paragraphs of “i had a thought” so of course it ended up over 1k. Oops?

I might write this eventually, i sort of wrote this already, but it’s not!fic style, I’ll be expanding it in the next few days, but if you get inspired, feel free to run with it, just tag me please!

So, you know how animals will occasionally seek help from humans? Like, a momma cat whose kittens are stuck in a drain pipe, or a raccoon who gets its paw trapped in a pop can, etc?

Think feral Derek who gets injured (either just after the fire he goes full shift feral or after finding Laura, or a random thing whatever, just he’s a wolf and has been for sometime now) and he gets injured. Caught in a trap or maybe he finds an injured thing, or maybe he’s stuck in a plastic ring thing that someone left behind from a picnic and he’s kind of forgotten how to be human, so he needs a hand, and so he howls for help.

Stiles has been hearing a wolf howling for weeks now, but when he mentions it is just met with “There are no wolves in California” but, you know our curious boy is not going to give up. So he’s been walking through the preserve investigating. He’s pretty sure he’s narrowed down where the wolf is living now, so when he hears a particularly urgent sounding howl, he’s in his Jeep and on the road before the sound is even finished echoing.

When he gets close to where he wants to turn into the preserve he sees a huge, black wolf, limping (or trying to get his attention, depending on whether Derek is injured, stuck, or being a good boy, er, Samaritan…).

So Stiles stops the car abruptly and, unthinking, leaps out of the car and runs toward the animal, practically skidding to a stop as he drops down in front of it, asking “What’s wrong, big guy, huh?” And Derek. Derek is momentarily stunned because this human just all but launched himself at him and that’s… not normal? Also, he smells really good (and familiar, definitely the human that’s been walking through the woods on the edges of his territory) and his hands that are absently petting Derek’s fur and checking for injuries feel really nice, and it’s all kind of jumbled in his head because he’s been running mostly on instinct for a while, and what he really wants to do is push his nose into the human’s neck and scent him and then push him over onto the ground and curl up around him.

But. He had a reason for venturing out of the relative safety of the woods. He needed help.

So he manages to communicate to the boy whatever it is that he needs, and Stiles obliges (i don’t know what’s cuter, some ridiculous litter caught around him or him leading Stiles to some trapped kittens) and then Stiles convinces the big wolf to get in his car (not that it takes much, Derek really wants to go with him) and takes him home, gets him clean and dry, figures out how to explain it to his dad…

Stiles finds the wolf curled up around his pillow (you can’t blame Derek, it smelled so good, okay) and after unsuccessfully trying to convince him to move to the end of the bed, gives up and lies down next to him with a grumbled “listen dude, i know you understand me, you did everything else i asked you to do, even let me give you a bath, which even dogs don’t do calmly. You’re not a normal wolf, buddy” to which Derek replies with a huff and a nuzzle at Stiles’ hand demanding to be pet as he apologizes. As Stiles scratches Derek’s head lightly, the truth of what he said hits him: this is not a normal wolf.

As he falls asleep, he’s already thinking about what to research in the morning.

He convinces his dad he’s fostering the wolf-dog for Dr Deaton, Scott’s boss at the vet clinic, and John quickly grows to enjoy the giant “dog” he even encourages him to sit with him while he reads over case files and half watches the game. As the days pass and he spends more time with the incredibly obedient wolf, who responds and reacts more like a human than an animal, and he does more and more digging into lore and local history, he starts to think he’s got it figured out.

They’ve been arguing about names, because Stiles needs something to call him. So far, the wolf has grouched about all nicknames (dude gets an especially emphatic unhappy sound) and done a decent canine version of an eye roll at a series of popular dog names. After a couple weeks, Stiles sits down in front of the wolf and pets him, holds his face with both hands and scritches behind his ears.

“Hey pal. I think I’ve figured out what to call you, but i need you to promise you won’t get mad like when i suggested Balto, okay? And i need you to promise you won’t like, run away or rip my throat out with those impressively big teeth of yours, yeah?”

Derek tilts his head in the best unimpressed agreement he can muster as a wolf (and he’s been having a hard time staying as a wolf lately, he wants to know what Stiles’ hands he’ll like on his skin and talk to John about baseball. He’s starting to remember what being human feels like. He’s even woken up half shifted a few times, human arms wrapped around Stiles and the beat of his heart under his fingertips, a growing ache in his chest).

“I think,” Stiles sighs and bumps his forehead against Derek’s. “I think i should be calling you Derek.” Stiles holds his breath and Derek freezes then tries to pull away, shaking his head as he feels the wolf falling away. “Derek, please, please stay calm, it’s okay. I know what happened, i get it. Please. ”

And Stiles’ hands are splayed and there’s no stutter in his heart beat, and his voice is quiet and pleading, so Derek stops fighting, stops holding onto the wolf, lets the shift fall away until it’s just him, kneeling uncertainly on Stiles’ bedroom floor. He takes a deep breath before he can meet Stiles’ eyes, when he does they both gasp a little, each struck by the beauty of the other, and Stiles in awe at the transformation he’s witnessed: the confirmation of the supernatural overwhelming, but not as overwhelming as the man crouched in front of him.

As a wolf, Derek had become a best friend of sorts; a faithful companion and confidant, even as Stiles began to suspect his true nature, he still felt safe telling him all his secrets.

After a long moment staring at each other, a grin spreads across Stiles’ face. “Hi.”

Derek swallows hard and manages a rough sounding “Hi” his vocal chords no longer accustomed to the shape of words.

Eventually, after looking at each other with soft smiles, Stiles momentarily holding in a million questions, Derek growing used to the way his body and his mind feel when he’s human, they get up. Stiles moves close and reaches a hand up to feel Derek’s face, repeating a soft “Hi” around an even softer grin, Derek leans into the touch and it’s easy to drift together to the bed. Stiles gets Derek some pyjama pants and tries not to look as he changes before sitting beside him, their hands lacing together easily as they talk for hours, falling asleep briefly until the sound of John’s car wakes them.

Stiles tells his dad the dog had to go back to Deaton and they both mourn his loss, John starts talking about getting a new dog. After a couple days of hiding Derek, Stiles introduces him to the Sheriff as a human. They get along even better than before, much to everyone’s relief. (They probably spin a story about Derek’s apartment flooding or something a few days later to get John to offer the spare room, because hiding a full grown man is hard, and Derek isn’t ready to be a person around other people yet. When Stiles has visitors he hides)

It takes time, but Derek grows comfortable in his skin again, and after they’ve known each other many months as people, they go from being Derek and Stiles to DerekandStiles and it’s as easy as it ever was for them to curl around each other, whisper secrets and fall asleep to rhythm of one another’s heartbeat.

Stiles tells his dad he has a boyfriend. The problem is, he doesn’t actually have one.

All I Wanted was You by dobrien (1/1 | 2,035 | G)

High School AU based on this tumblr post in which Stiles is a nerd and Derek is a jock with a little crush. (The blog the post is on has automatically playing music.)

Beacon Hills High School by Almaie (1/1 | 21,568 | NC17)

Derek Hale and Stiles Stilinski come from two different worlds: Derek the Basketball God and Stiles the Smart, Stunning Geek. When they meet at New Year’s Eve they instantly click. When they meet each other again at Beacon Hills High School, they accidentally audition for their high school’s musical. The social cliques they belong to don’t approve of this new friendship and try to separate them. At the same time, drama queen Kate Argent and her sister Allison, the co-captains of the Drama department, try in every way to prevent Derek and Stiles from winning over them in the callbacks. Can Derek and Stiles lead their friends to a more open-mind thinking and acceptance of one another? Or will their friends win?

It Was An Amazing Date, Stiles. by brandileeder (1/1 | 2,002 | G)

Derek smiles at him warmly, like he doesn’t mind one bit that Stiles is sitting across from him and Stiles brain melts a little so instead of his grand date proposal he just says, “Date. Us?”

And okay, wow.

But Derek for his part just sort of sits there, eyes wide and he stares, mouth hanging open a little so Stiles can see his two front teeth, just the slightest bit longer than the rest, “Huh?” Stiles just groans, goes to bang his head on the table only to hit the soft warmth of Derek’s palm where he placed his hand so Stiles would hit it instead, “Did you just ask me out?”

Stiles just shrugs, forehead still pressed to Derek’s palm. He doesn’t look up until another hand starts running through his hair, but then it’s only to open one eye and peer up at Derek, “Are you sure?”

And that startles Stiles enough to sit up, “What?”

“Are you sure? That you, uh, want to date me?” Derek says the last two words in a whisper, like it’s a secret between the two and Stiles just furrows his brows a little and frowns.

“Uhm, for the last eleven months, yeah.” Stiles admits.

We Got Together Thanks to the Dunk Tank by gremlins-came-and-got-me (Scared_Beings_in_the_Dark) (1/1 | 2,564 | G)

During the high school’s annual sports fair (when the sports teams, especially the lacrosse team, raises funds for the next school year), Derek decides to actually do something brave his junior year (not that he doesn’t have the support of his best friend Boyd and his older sister Laura, stop laughing) and ask out his longtime crush Stiles Stilinski.
It could have gone better.

five times derek is protective of stiles and one time it’s the other way around by skylarisafail (1/1 | 2,353 | PG13)

Yeah, okay, so maybe Derek was a tad too protective of Stiles. So what? Sue him for worrying about his best friend, whom he totally does not have a raging crush on.

Okay, so maybe he does.

Shut up.

April 2017

This is a compilation of fics that I’ve read/re-read over the past month. Faves get a star ( ★ ). There is also a separate fic rec page for my favorites here and a fic rec sorter here, if you’d like to check those out. :)

MONTH: April, 2017 | (older lists)

▶▶ A Neutrino Walks Through a Bar by Moku
Teen And Up | 45,261w
Stiles had become the most popular matchmaker of Beacon Hills in less than a year. And he really didn’t know how that had happened.

▶▶ A Not So Easy Arrangement by hazelandglasz
Explicit | 5,314w
AU where Derek’s still the Alpha, and Erica and Boyd aren’t dead. Stiles and Derek have to fake-date because of werewolf reasons, but it shouldn’t be too hard because they’re already having sex together? And they’re great friends? Shouldn’t be too hard, Stile thinks, but he’s been pining away, and he was actually gonna ask out Derek for real, because he kinda loves him, but now he just feels weird. And he’s still finding ways to fall in love with Derek.

▶▶ accidentally? by bibliosexual
Mature | 3,683w
BOSS: “know why I called you in here?”
ME: “because I accidentally sent you a dick pic”
BOSS [stops pouring 2 glasses of wine]: “accidentally?”

Or, in which Derek receives a surprising email one morning.

▶▶ all stories deserve an end by bleep0bleep
Teen And Up | 2,351w
No one hardly ever comes up to this area of the forest, especially with the rumors of the “mad wizard.” Stiles encourages the rumor, because it means people leave him alone. It’s a good, solitary existence as long as Stiles pretends the aching loneliness in his heart isn’t there.

▶▶ anything, anything by drunktuesdays
Explicit | 5,242w
Prompt: Stiles wakes up in Derek’s bed in a world where they’re married now, and Derek keeps leaving the room every time he tries to have a conversation about how this happened, since they weren’t even dating.

One of Stiles’ favorite things about life is Derek Hale’s food blog. He never expects to meet the man in person.

▶▶ But, Doctor! by stilinskisparkles ★
Mature | 30,269w
“We had to splint a girl’s leg in a ditch,” Scott says excitedly.

“Bro, you sound way too happy about that,” Stiles complains, opening up his bag and pulling out a Twinkie.

Derek removes it from his hand silently and replaces it with an apple. Stiles scowls at him for a second then bites into it, regardless. Derek sits back and lets the group discuss the merits of dramatic lifesaving feats for winning over the ladies. Scott is convinced it’ll help impress Allison; Isaac thinks Scott’s a loser. Stiles—

Stiles is falling asleep on Derek’s shoulder.

▶▶ First Impressions Are Overrated by Leslie_Knope
Teen And Up | 14,634w
In Stiles’ defense, he didn’t deliberately ram his grocery cart into the (evidently precarious) pyramid of oranges.

Years of touring with Stiles would never have prepared Derek for the day his beloved techie fell in love with someone else.

▶▶ I Do Do You? by Captain_Loki ★
Explicit | 6,540w
Stiles and Derek wake up hung over and married in a hotel room in Las Vegas. It wouldn’t be so bad if the year before their relationship hadn’t fallen apart.

1/3 I saw this post again about someone only knowing Teen Wolf from gif sets who thought that Scott wouldn't survive the pilot and it got me thinking: What would've happened if Scott *hadn't* survived the bite? Just in season 1 alone? Would Peter've bitten anyone else (he tried half on s1 to connect with his beta but seeing his beta die would that have encouraged or discouraged him)? Would Stiles've still sided with the wolfs (he would've felt guilty for Scott & maybe looking into hunting (hint,

hint) what attacked his best friend)? Would Allison (without Scott, Kate would’ve brought her into the fold & she wouldn’t have had any evidence that wolfs *are* people)? Would Jackson’ve been tempted (no Scott, no rival Lacrosse Captain, he still would’ve been attacked in the video store but would he’ve sought out Derek)? Would Derek’ve died from wolfsbane (no Scott, no Stiles?, no bullet) or would he’ve hurt Deaton (then again no Scott, no Night School, no one howling for the alpha)? How different would season 1 (& 2 & 3 etc) have been? What are your head cannons?

Oh I love thinking about this –– one single detail changing everything that comes after it. I’m going to preface this theorizing by saying that I don’t remember all the details on s1; it’s been a long time since I watched so I might veer off in the wrong direction at any point. That said, here goes.

Scott’s turning is the trigger for a lot of the early events in the series, and his death would change pretty much everything about the characters’ dynamics, relationships, and alliances. If Scott were dying in a hospital bed after the Wolf Moon, I’ll bet that Stiles would be right by his side that day, meaning that he wouldn’t run into Derek in the woods, in search of his friend’s inhaler. That said, Scott would have an animal bite on his hip, and would probably tell Stiles that a wolf bit him as he lay dying, and that, combined with the full moon and the other animal attacks/dead bodies around town, would probably still lead Stiles toward the truth.

A werewolf bit his friend. A werewolf killed his friend.

And you can be sure that a guilty, bitter, raging Stiles would latch onto that knowledge and decide to do something about it.

Stiles probably wouldn’t run into Allison at this point. Would have no reason to connect to her, no reason to really even notice her. She’s just the new girl in school and he has a hell of a lot bigger things to think about, like his dead friend, like the supernatural threat apparently running through the preserve killing innocent teenagers.

That said, I can absolutely picture Chris Argent visiting Stiles after Scott’s death. Maybe even in the hospital. (I put Scott in the hospital and not dying at home because Melissa.) He slinks up all grim and mysterious and asks Stiles if he’d been out there in the woods too –– what he saw, whether there was anything unusual. And when Stiles snarks back –– and Stiles would inevitably snark back –– he’d probably make some vague comment about bringing the thing that killed Stiles’ friend to justice before slipping away again.

And this might even be what helps Stiles connect those final dots.

So Stiles would take to the woods. Which… maybe not the smartest plan, but something out there fucking killed Scott and Stiles isn’t in the mood for smart right now. He’s in the mood for payback. When he runs into Derek he nearly takes his head off with a baseball bat and then he’s just kind of reeling because Derek Hale, survivor of the Hale fire is randomly hanging around the preserve six years after anyone in town’s seen him.

Hanging around the preserve where Scott (and another person) were killed.

Hanging around the preserve where an actual legit werewolf might be living.

Would those dots take too long to connect?

The thing is, though, grief recognizes grief and I think that a Stiles who’d just lost Scott might not be so quick to dismiss Derek’s bad attitude as he’d been in the show. And Derek, in the state that he’s in throughout s1, would be a lot more likely to open up to someone on a vendetta of revenge and grief than a couple of kids who seem more concerned with sports and dating.

So whether it happens right then or later, it would happen –– Stiles realizing what Derek is. Lashing out or bolting. Derek catching his bat on a desperate swing, chasing him (chasing the secondhand scent of gunpowder and Argent) slamming Stiles back against a tree and and Stiles screaming “My best friend is dead” and Derek snarling back “so’s my sister.”

And then for a few seconds they’d just… stare. Recognizing that grief, that loss, that hopeless rage, in each other’s wrecked expressions. And after a long second Derek would just… fall back. Give up his hold on Stiles, let the ugly weight of the losses settle between them. And Stiles would know… not really knowing how, but he’d know, that Derek wasn’t responsible for Scott.

But would Stiles go back to Argent? Would he approach Allison then, after hearing her last name in class and connecting those dots, would he make friends to try and find out what she knows? Or would he just seek out Chris Argent and demand information, demand weapons, demand whatever the hell it takes to take down this werewolf threat or else he’ll just go public to the Sheriff with what he knows and he’s pretty sure Van Helsing here wouldn’t love that.

So Argent agrees, on these terms: he trains Stiles.

It’s a good compromise, actually. Gerard’s been pushing for the next generation to start getting brought in on the family business and Chris really just wants to keep Allison out of it. Keep her safe, keep her happy in her ignorance. Is it so wrong to want a normal life for his daughter? And Stiles isn’t an Argent, and Chris isn’t sure he’d even want this kid carrying on his family legacy, but if it slows things down, lets Allison get through high school at least without having to face down the horrors he grew up with… he’ll take it. He’ll use this boy who’s already willing to fight and die for the cause and keep his daughter safe.

(Of course, this won’t work for long. Allison’s not oblivious and she’ll notice her family’s strange behavior. Notice Stiles dropping by a strange number of times… and his sudden “internship at Argent Arms International” –– her dad’s never taken on sixteen year old interns before… or any interns –– doesn’t completely explain it. So eventually, despite her dad’s best efforts, Allison will still realize her family business.)

–Jumping off the continuity track for a bit, with Scott gone and Jackson’s place on the lacrosse team assured, he wouldn’t feel any particular need to seek out new skills, strength, or the supernatural at all. So his involvement in the main arc would only come through Lydia (through Allison) or, if you’re with me on this one, once Peter takes interest in him, recognizing him as his son.

I also (and this is where my not having watched the season in so long might come into play) don’t particularly think Peter would bite anyone else if Scott died, because I generally feel like Peter biting Scott was just a case of Scott being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He saw a kid wandering through the woods –– the moon was full, his wolf was howling, those wacky CGI deer had sprinted away, and he figured why not? Peter wasn’t really focused on building a pack in s1. He had a lot of opportunities to bite other people, to make a whole pack, and he didn’t take them. He liked the idea of Scott being his beta, and having help getting his revenge, once he already had him, but I think his priority was really just killing the people involved in the Hale arson and Scott was just a bonus. If Scott didn’t take –– or if Scott hadn’t been in the woods that night –– I don’t think Peter would have gone for anyone else.

Back onto the main plot, though, with Stiles on the hunter track, his tentative truce with Derek would become very interesting. He wouldn’t tell Argent about knowing Derek, but the next time he runs into Derek –– fucking bleeding out in the school parking lot in front of his Jeep because Stiles and that few-second bond of loss is still the only connection Derek has in this town –– I think Stiles’ secrets would come out to him. He’d mention the wolfsbane and of course Stiles knows what wolfsbane is, how it works, where to get some, and he’d leave Derek in the safety of his bedroom probably while he flits to the Argents’ and gets himself a bullet to help bring him back. He figures Kate probably thought what Stiles did at first –– a local werewolf, must be the feral Alpha –– stupid mistake but it’s not like Derek exactly gives off the warm, cuddly vibes… but once Derek’s recovered enough to realize what had happened, where Stiles had gone and how he’d gotten that bullet, what would he do? Grit teeth, clam up? Push Stiles into the nearest shadowed space and snarl that the Argents can’t be trusted, they’re killers until Stiles snorts, snaps back a blithe “Oh yeah, and what are you?”

And Derek would pull back, looking wounded for a heartbeat before walling off, and Stiles would almost want to take the words back but he’d lift his chin stubbornly instead because these guys are helping him learn to fight, ok? They’re helping him learn how to take down Scott’s killer and yeah it sucks that Derek caught a bullet but everyone’s on red alert right now and it was a fucking shitty mistake.

And Derek would hold his gaze, steady and cold, say “your father’s Sheriff Stilinski, right? Look into the Hale fire. Visit the hospital’s long term care center. See what your new friends call justice.”

And of course Stiles does. He looks into the records. He sees that everything in the police files scream arson. And he can’t connect Chris Argent and his stern code with the mentions of children’s corpses, but the more he gets to know Kate the more he can see that in her. And I think he would start to question the Argents at that point, start questioning his alliances and everything he thinks he knows.

And that’s as far as I’m going to go with this headcanon for the moment, because it’s getting incredibly long already. But I really adore this canon divergent concept, with it starting as a tragedy/revenge story and Stiles being pulled in on the hunters’ side of things at first, and I think so much could be done with it.

In the next few months, everything became an easy routine for the two of you. You woke up together, wrapped around each other in a tangle of limbs in his bed. Sometimes you’d just lay together, enjoying each other’s company. Most times he’d fuck you slow, his face buried in your neck. He’d shower, you’d make breakfast, he’d go to work, and you’d keep yourself busy, studying for your GED, reading a book, getting lost on the internet, shopping with Lydia.

Summary: Derek is an ace guy working at a sex shop, and he has a bit of a crush on one of the regulars (who he might have come out to, oops).

Notes: Written for the Aro/Ace Wolves Mini Bang! (On AO3)

I forgot to add that this fic now has some lovely art! Check it out!

Derek looks up from his calculus textbook when he hears the bell jingle, and he has to suppress a smile. This guy’s a regular. He usually comes in every couple of weeks, awkward and overly-enthusiastic. He gets in to animated conversations with other patrons, flails a lot, and almost always manages to knock something off a shelf.

And he’s cute.

Really cute.

Can you please do this valentines day prompt? ❤ "You should be kissed and kissed often and by someone who knows how."

This was such a fun prompt to work with, Hannah! Also on ao3!

Stiles had a less than amazing dating history. To be completely honest, it was actually rather horrible.

Since he had started college, no longer stuck in classes with the same people who had condemned him to being the weird nerdy kid who couldn’t shut up to save his life, Stiles had blossomed. He was more confident, more outgoing, more self-assured. He was less self-conscious, comfortable enough to voice his opinions and flaunt his interests without fear of being ridiculed.

His newfound confidence even translated to his more romantic endeavors. He was no longer petrified of rejection, learning to hope for the best instead of anticipating for the the absolute worst.

When he met someone he found attractive or interesting, instead of convincing himself that they were way out of his league, he would focus on all of the potential possibilities. He would contemplate how nice a potential relationship, all the fun new things he could experience.

But while he was living college life to the fullest, partying with his classmates every weekend and going out on dates with anyone who asked or whoever Erica set him up with, he learned a very harsh truth. He had a habit of going out with complete assholes.

First, there had been Rob, a guy from his AP History class who had dreams of becoming a pro baseball player. He had been a charmer, constantly flirting with Stiles in the days leading up to their first date, always greeting him in class with a smirk and a wink.

He was a nice enough guy, that Stiles could concede, but he was also kind of a dick. With a wandering eye to boot. Every time they went out, without fail, he would end up paying more attention to their waiter’s ass than Stiles’ stories.

Stiles had finally broken things off when he caught Rob red-handed, shamelessly ogling Boyd while he and Stiles were on a double date with Erica and Boyd. He had nearly emptied his illegally gotten beer over Rob’s head in the middle of the restaurant. It was only because he didn’t want to make a scene that he managed to refrain, though later Erica advised him that he really should have just done it anyway.

After Rob, Stiles started dating a girl that Erica set him up with, a pretty brunette from another college name Ashlee whose biggest pet peeve was when spelled her name wrong. As someone who could relate, his nickname Stiles only a necessity because his first name was a nightmare to spell or even simply pronounce for most English speakers, Stiles hit it off with her from the get-go.

She was a philosophy major, a big fan of the Hobbesian theory of government, and absolutely adored playing the new Fallout game. They went on several dates, mostly to parties where they both danced terribly and got shitfaced on cheap whiskey that someone had bought with their obviously fake ID.

She gave him his first handjob, in the Jeep in front of her dorm building while Stiles dropped her off from one of their dates. She had slipped her hand down his pants after dinner at a local diner as they clumsily kissed. He came in his pants after just a few light strokes, face flushing as he apologized for coming so fast, a jolt of embarrassment shooting through him.

She had shut him up with a kiss and promised that next time he could get her off, winking seductively as she climbed out of the Jeep to jog up the walk to her building. But Stiles never got the chance. He found out a few days later that she was seeing two other guys in addition to himself. He had ended things on the spot.

After taking a few weeks to get over Ashlee, he had gone out with a guy from his English 101 class, the one he had fantasized about sleeping with a few times. His name was Andrew, spelled the usual way, and he was very easily one of the most seductive people Stiles had ever met in his nineteen years of life, with his easy grins and gorgeous blue eyes.

They dated for a couple weeks, Stiles performing his first blow job on him in his dorm, relying on years of watching porn to influence his technique, moaning obnoxiously a few times the way he had seen in pornos too many times. Andrew seemed to appreciate it, fisting a hand in Stiles’ hair to buck up into his mouth as he grunted, loud and crude, before finally coming.

He got dumped the following day. Andrew had claimed he just wanted a quick fuck, not some clingy boyfriend. Stiles had been pissed, drowning his woes in a bottle of booze and flooding the pack group chat with rants about how much of a jackass Andrew was.

It all dissolved into a series of half-assed dates after that, Stiles no longer caring enough to remember all of their names. Almost all of them turned out to be jerks in the end, anyway.

But there was a silver lining in the midst of all his dating sorrows. Derek.

Learn to Control Yourself, Stiles. by Thesupermom19 (8/? | 35,157 | NC17)

This is 3-month post Nogitsune Stiles, there are major changes and it doesn’t follow the show, such as: Alpha Derek, Allison is alive, Isaac didn’t leave, Jackson never left, Malia never existed simply because its Sterek. This is a story that involves Stiles as a supernatural creature (not going to say which kind), The beginning of the 3rd season never really happened for the most part, instead I have come up with all these different pack building experiences between the group of teens that are set to have taken place in that time and will be told in flashbacks. Like I said, not all events from the show have happened obviously. The pack is a lot closer in my story than the show. Scott never became alpha, they just all joined into Derek’s pack. Again, I used that as time to fill in fun pack memories and stuff. So, this is definitely not canon. Hopefully you all enjoy the changes!
It sets after Derek left the pack temporarily for unknown reasons and Stiles is dealing with a form of PTSD alone, or so he thinks. It is a budding relationship story between Stiles and Derek.

The dumb kid that used to follow you around (That’s not what you were). by scarlettletterr (1/1 | 10,846 | PG13)

Once upon a time, Stiles Stilinski and Derek Hale were the Best Friends in the Whole Wide World, per Stiles’ saying. Nowadays, Stiles is pretty sure that Derek hates him.
Derek is pretty sure Stiles hates him too.

The thing is, neither of them really hate the other one.

The College Years - Freshman Year (Chapter 2) - Stiles Stilinski

Author: @were-cheetah-stiles

Title: “The Morning After”

Characters: Stiles Stilinski, Scott McCall, & Reader

Author’s Note: Some of these chapters may end up feeling kind of frivolous or tedious or like I’m explaining for the sake of explaining, but I swear, there is a lot of foreshadowing that happens in this series, and understanding y/n’s backstory is generally important.

Summary: AU where Stiles’ “vision” happened and everyone ended up going to school near each other. Stiles and Scott live together and go to school at University of California at Berkeley. They think that they have escaped the supernatural drama that engulfs Beacon Hills on a daily basis, at least during the school year, until one night in the middle of January, they happen upon a girl fighting two grown men in a park.
