Storyboard assignment was to use a song from a musical and storyboard it with characters from another source.
Song: Turn It Off from Book of Mormon Characters from: Mob Psycho 100, Cardcaptor Sakura, Nichijou, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gurren Lagann, Steins Gate, Steven universe, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Re:Zero, Anohana.
The hardship of the exercises is intended less to strengthen the back than to toughen the mind. The Spartans say that any army may win while it still has its legs under it; the real test comes when all strength is fled and the men must produce victory on will alone.
Steven Pressfield, Gates of Fire: An Epic Novel of the Battle of Thermopylae
Everything about Steven and Connie makes me think of Malink. I just… they’re all just such precious babies…!!!
The song from Full Disclosure somehow matched up perfectly with my LoZ headcanon. Malon was Link’s last tie to a carefree lifestyle and loved spending time there, telling her stories of his adventures. But Link grew worried for Malon when he realized how dangerous things were getting after encountering Ganondorf outside the castle gates.
[Mappo] pushed himself upright. “Where’s the library?”
[Iskaral Pust] “turn right, proceed thirty-four paces, turn right again, twelve paces, then through door on the right, thirty-five paces, through archway on right another eleven paces, turn right one last time, fifteen paces, enter the door on the right”.
Mappo stared at Iskaral Pust.
The High Priest shifted nervously.
“Or”, the Trell said, eyes narrowed, “turn left, nineteen paces”
Mappo strode to the door. "I shall take the short route, then”
Hands pressed into chubby cheeks, smile wider than the glowing white stars forming in their eyes. If excitement had a discernible face as opposed to a subjective feeling, it would mirror Stevonnie’s own, here and now, for the rest of its natural life as a feeling people could look at. The fusion gestured, with both hands- (all eight fingers and two thumbs) -toward a bag of Bits™ currently tumbling its contents into a tray of sprinkles.
“Sprinkled Bits! Alexander Fleming discovered Penicillin completely by accident… I wonder if this is how he felt! I wonder if I’ll go down in history for this! You have to try one!”
