“Blank Space” by Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks // Originally by Taylor Swift (2015)

Well, holy shit. I never thought that I’d be seeing this - and not because I’m a miserable, angry prick who would hate on such things, but because when i think of my favorite musicians who might cover a Taylor Swift jam, Stephen Malkmus isn’t even in the top ten. That being said, I am pleasantly surprised that such a thing occurred at all! Malkmus performed with his band, The Jicks, at a children’s variety show in Portland, called “You Who”. What better way to get some kids moving than to cover one of Taylor Swift’s recent mega-hits? It’s pretty great. Check it out.

This video of Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks performing Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” is PROOF the universe loves me.
