I wear my favorite stories on my arms.

1) “The world is quiet here.” - Lemony Snicket in A Series of Unfortunate Events.
2) “Go then, there are other worlds than these.” - Jake in The Gunslinger.
3) The Flamel of Fullmetal Alchemist, literal meaning, “The taming of the volatile.”

“Ka is a wheel; its one purpose is to turn. The spin of ka always brings us back to the same place, to face and reface our mistakes and defeats until we can learn from them. When we learn from the past, the wheel continues to move forward, towards growth and evolution. When we don’t, the wheel spins backward, and we are given another chance. If once more we squander the opportunity, the wheel continues its rotation towards devolution, or destruction.”

Dorian Gray, done by Andy Chen at Royalty Tattoo Collective in Burlingame, CA.

This is the second piece to my literature sleeve, my first is an Edgar Allan Poe piece, and I plan to add a Stephen King tattoo shortly! The Picture of Dorian Gray is by far my favorite book of all time, a classic written by Oscar Wilde. If you haven’t read it, I HIGHLY recommend reading it, the uncensored version of course.

I love my beautiful Dorian, the only sad part is that it’s on the back of my arm so I can’t look at his pretty face all day! <3
