The other day I was asked by Henry, a friend of mine who is also one of my best friend’s younger brother, if I could help take photos of him and his work for his new site. Of course, being a foodie and absolutely love doing food portraiture…*instagramming*… I said yes, but not without the joking about getting fed my favorite food first. So that’s how this project came to be.
To tell you a bit about Henry, he’s a 23 year old Le Cordon Bleu graduate chef who specializes in both sushi and pastries. He currently owns Delectable, his own pastry catering company in addition to working with his business partner on another catering company. He’s also best known as the head baker at one of the best hotels in Southern Orange County.
The other day my good friend Lea texted me asking if I’d like to head out to LA and help her with a project for her drawing class. Of course being the person I am, I couldn’t say no. What turned into an expedition for architecture turned into an impromptu photoshoot. Enjoy!
