Second side note: steam powered giraffe’s mk III just got me back on the addiction, on the first run i didn’t thougth i was going to like it, it sounded different to me compared to the past two albums, but then Ghost Grinder, Mecto Amore and Bleak Horizon got stuck in my head and i was gone. All i can say its i really love the overall feel of it, the harmonies really stand out on some songs, Go Spine Go just makes me laugh every time, Ghost Grinder really makes me want to random dance and i just want to sing my heart out on Turn Back the Clock and Bleak Horizon. The only thing i didn’t liked too much about it was that Hatch Fever sounded a bit off to me, the harmonies were great but to me it lacked the energy and punch it had on the live performance that was what got me to love it.
I just really loved the album in the end, and so far my favorite songs are She Said Maybe, Ghost Grinder and Turn Back the Clock only if its followed by Bleak Horizon (to me they just sound really off when they’re not together), and in the end i can only say that these guys just hit it out of the park. Also when i finished it for the first time i understood why Fire Fire wasn’t on the album, and guys they just love to tease things on our faces, but well, thats just how SPG is and I surely love them like that
