Steam Powered Giraffe (arranged by Duane Joseph Olson)
I REPEAT, USE HEADPHONES FOR INSTANT MAGIC.
The Left ear is the studio version of Hatch Fever by Steam Powered Giraffe, The right ear is the live version.
The version I had up before was put in left/right format from a version that was already in stereo format. So, as a result, I was accidentally muting Rabbit and half of Hatchworth. But its all good now bruh.
All edits were made to the studio version to fit the live version, simply because I like that one better. Hopefully you won’t be able to notice.
Obviously, all credits go to Steam Powered Giraffe. Don’t get your panties in a bunch, it isn’t even the whole song.
I did a montage of every single MK III song that had the title in their lyrics - which is basically nearly every single song in the album (except Curtain Raiser, of course, because that track’s literally just a bunch of dialogue). I’ve done this with Album One and The Two Cent Show combined, and you can find that here!
It’s actually pretty interesting to listen to this montage, buuut anyway…enjoy, folks!
What started out as screwing around in Photoshop turned into something I actually really liked and then this happened. I don’t care that Fire Fire isn’t on MKIII. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PHOTOS OF FIRE I HAVE LYING AROUND?
I used a combination of photomanipulation and digital painting, and all of these were created using assets I made entirely myself. No stock photos were used.
Can’t wait to see them again in April, and to see Rabbit’s new look in person!
