step 2: pick your fandoms, and pencil in the designs you want. Don’t use sharpie, its hard to cover with paint, and you can’t erase the mistakes you WILL make. Mine were Steam Powered Giraffe, Welcome to Night Vale, and D.Gray-Man for my right shoe. The left was The Legend of Zelda, Assassin’s Creed, and Homestuck. Both had Alice in Wonderland.
step three: cry. cry a lot because you think you can’t do it. it’s good for you to cry. everyone cries, even the strongest of warriors.
step four: stand up, get shit done. I used acrylic paint, and fabric paint will work too, just make sure it’s liquid form and not puff paint (unless you want that, then be free.) Remember that it’s okay to make mistakes. don’t get angry, just take a step back and return to the project later.
Step five: spray with a sealer, so that your fine ass shoes wont melt when they get wet or otherwise.
step six: bask in the glory of your shoes. they are your own, you made them. congrats, you own a pair of shoes that no one else in the world will ever have, because you made them for you. enjoy.
just gonna let the entire steam powered giraffe fandom know that there currently exists on the Youtube a very professional looking animation of Rabbit singing Honeybee. not gonna link it because I’m paranoid about sharing things that aren’t mine, but seriously you all need to go and look for it right now. right now, i say!
