My hair is starting to grow out again and I’ve finally figured out how to use highlighter. As with most of my outfits, this is a mix of old and new pieces in my wardrobe. The top is vintage and the skirt from River Island, which makes them completely unrelated to each other except for how prettily they go together. I’ve had a love affair with blush for the longest time, to the point where I’m dreaming of a blush and gold dress for my wedding. My fiance even did up my blog layout in that colour scheme (which you might have missed if you generally see my posts on your dash!) I’m feeling all the romance for summer right now, soft, tender, glowy looks, a bit diaphanous and floaty, pastel with a hint of shimmer: perfect.
Last week i went to this wine festival who is celebrated near my city In a vineyard called “la redonda” it was the “festival de los 100 vinos mexicanos” I went, wearing a skirt because i wanted to make a statement “Men can wear skirts too”, even in Mexico, even with this macho society I was kinda afraid at the begining, but i felt more comfortable with time I had different reactions, people staring at me weirdly, guys laughing at me, girls saying that my skirt was amazing, some people took a picture with me, i saw some kids pointing at me asking their moms why i was wearing a skirt (i actually liked that because i know those moms had to think something like “oh he just like to wear it” or something that will make kids grow without prejudices) At the end of the day, i had so much fun and made friends.
and like i said before, If you want to do something, do it, don’t let the social envyroment scare you, you are free and i will support you.
