star ship enterprise

Inktober day 11:

@jewishdragon and @agreyeyedgirl (and others) have tagged me recently in that “Enterprise vs. millennium falcon” debate that keeps floating around and I’d like to confirm that, yes, this is a dumb competition because why make war when you can make love?

“The Starship Enterprise is not a collection of motion picture sets or a model used in visual effects. It is a very real vehicle: one designed for storytelling. You, the audience, furnish its propulsion. With a wondrous leap of imagination, you make it into a spaceship that can take us into the far reaches of the galaxy and sometimes the depths of the human soul….”

The Last Gunslinger

A star trek redesign exercise.

The Warden class of starship was lighter armored and more heavily armed. It was produced in a limited run. The captains of this class of ship developed quite a reputation in the Federation and were often referred to as the gunslinger captains in reference to the particular strategies and brand of diplomacy the Warden class was best deployed under. This particular image is of the last ship of its class in service and which was referred to simply as “The Last Gunslinger”
Personal fan work.
