All he knows is heaven
and all she’s ever known is hell.
He’s got a smile like holy
a voice like prayers
and a kiss like salvation.
She’s got a smile like sin
a voice like curses
and a kiss like damnation.
But when they look at each other
they think the same word:
I miss him. 😭😭😭😭😭
I will never get over his passing. I will forever hate that I will never be able to see anymore of his work. Or hear any of his stories, see his art or see his smile. Or even hear his voice. I miss you. 😭😭😭😭
I wonder what will dance in the night sky
When the world finally knows peace.
Will the stars sing of redemption
And the moon reflect our dreams.
As in a long forgotten memory
Will happiness remain a whispered wish
Or can love and hope find salvation
In this tattered world we’re living in?
RIP Anton Yelchin (1989-2016) - The great young actor best known for portraying Chekov in the current version of Star Trek (2009/2013/2016) died today at age 27 on a strange car accident. Born in Leningrado, Soviet Union, Yelchin’s career started in 2000, on several minor projects until he got noticed by Scott Hicks who cast him alongisde Anthony Hopkins in Stephen King’s adaptation Hearts in Atlantis (2001). From there, he appeared in more than 60 projects between films and TV shows such House of D (2004), Huff (2004-2006), Fierce People (2005), Alpha Dog (2006), Charlie Bartlett (2007), New York, I Love You (2008), Terminator Salvation (2009), Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac (2010), Like Crazy (2011), The Beaver (2011), You and I (2011), Fright Night (2011), Odd Thomas (2013), Only Lovers Left Alive (2013), Dying of the Light (2014), Experimenter (2015), and with five upcoming (already completed) projects, including the 3rd Star Trek installment. A brilliant, funny, and talented man that leaves us so soon and I’m gonna miss him so much.
Anton Yelchin passed away on June 19th at age 27. He was the victim of a fatal accident involving his Jeep Grand Cherokee which rolled backwards and pinned him against a brick mailbox and a security fence. His friends found him after a few hours because he was supposed to meet them for a rehearsal. I always loved him as Chekhov in Star Trek, which is going to make the third one really hard to watch. It was such a horrible accident and hope that everything that caused his death gets fixed.
“I think you can always find interesting, complex and fascinating characters to play in different kinds of movies. It’s in your hands”
Okay the whole ‘Illidan is the chosen one, the shining golden boy who will save the universe’ thing is really fuckin weird?? I mean I love Illidan and he’s one of my favorite characters but theres no way I’m actually gonna believe or acknowledge any of this stuff.
Illidan is an asshole who kinda stumbled around life making bad decisions and being bitter, yeah he was born with ‘special golden eyes’ but thats what makes the fact he got his eyes burned out and replaced by Sargeras ironic. And I really feel like Blizzard legit just came up with this storyline like… 5 minutes ago. Since when have they given a shit about Illidan? They were happy to kill him off in BC and force us to spend more time with his asshole “hush Tyrande” brother, but suddenly it’s “ WE LOVE OUR BOY OF LIGHT AND SHADOW, HE’S BEEN OUR SHINING STAR OF SALVATION THIS WHOLE TIME <3 <3″
I feel like making him this Jesus figure kinda defeats the whole character of Illidan, it would have been so much better if he actually found redemption and after being resurrected finally gets the chance to make things right and not make mistakes and be selfish. He has his demon hunters, a purpose, and he can finally do something that his brother can’t and it should be that that makes him the ‘hero’ of this expansion. The fact that even an asshole can do some good and redeem himself.
So in my mind Illidan will be able to defeat the legion, not because he’s the chosen golden boy, but with the power of bitterness, spite and an inferiority complex.
your stars hung in pairs against the accustomed singularity of
celestial bodies. your stars held the promise of enlightenment.
and i sought you the way kings did, hunting you down in the
endeavor of navigation; pinned down and bloody until man left
the stars for devices of their own. and when the stars followed
humanity, stardust resurrecting in the arrangement of atoms, constellations manifesting in wombs, nebulae shattering for the genesis. the universe destroyed itself for you.
oh gemini boy
the cosmos are not kind to boys who are destined to be halves;
on an eternal voyage for missing fragments in a lover’s touch
and a child's laugh. the world is not kind to boys who look into
your eyes and only see their reflection.
but you were kind to me.
this is an apology to a mortal born from the immortality of
twins whose love bore the gods’ mercy to rest among the stars;
not knowing that stars die,
just as the children born from them do. just as you.
maybe i should have known better than to love a boy always
searching for himself. i mistook you for a cosmic collision,
meant for the dawn of a new heaven. and maybe i fell in love
with your destruction, as i navigated you the way ancients
looked to your stars for salvation.
my stars hang in the silhouette of the unknown, isolated from
the promise of deliverance man was once told.
we are born from different stars.
our fates moving in parallel precision, never meeting again
after our stardust once laid prints upon
our astral anatomy.
and because we are not stars
but the echoes of seraphic wars
meant to traverse desolate lands
in search for completion
