stapled guides

baconpancaakes  asked:

Do high schoolers ever tour Elsewhere U in consideration of going there? Do parents ever visit? Is there some sort of contractual obligation Not To Steal Visitors?

Guides for prospective students do what they can to mitigate theft - for example, ramen flavor packets stapled to the guide packet, haha you know the old joke about college students, don’t worry our dining halls are actually quite highly rated, hang on to that anyway. They cross running water as often as they can, and use every other deterrent they know. The guides are probably some of the most cunning students on campus, honestly. Every few years they still lose a prospective, though. You can’t win them all.
