standing girl

tag urself as a student

i.d.g.a.f:  goes to school unbothered, doesn’t give a shit about makeup or looking nice, constantly has a water bottle filled, when they’re not taking notes they’re sleeping in class, goes home and actually studies/does homework, bottles up emotions, wants to travel

covfefe: lives their life on coffee and tea, always participates in class discussions, likes to observe, challenges themselves sometimes a little too much, needs more sleep, always trying to make plans to fill up their schedule, likes aesthetics

netflix & procrastinate: honestly wants to do well, gets distracted easily, when they’re focused they get shit done, pulls lots of all nighters, tells everyone ‘im fine’ when not fine, accidentally skips breakfast, loves their friends, gets anxiety over tests and quizzes

pastel: is always organized, loves to journal, actually listens to the teacher, people think they’re always super sweet, wants to visit japan, loves animals, does research for fun, looks over work 948208 times before turning it in, watches horror movies and then regrets it

complaint department: acts like they didn’t have enough time to do homework (they did), blames others for their problems, doesn’t study then cry when they get a bad grade, secretly is very insecure, is always out “sick”, acts better than others for no reason sometimes

chilly child: is very relaxed but knows how to work, is nice to their teachers, tries to avoid half-assing things, loves autumn, likes studying with other people, is very self motivating, tries not to focus on the letter grade but rather how hard they worked, and tbh they’re just tryna enjoy life,

In light of an unfortunate display of ignorance I witnessed today, let me take a moment to make something blatantly clear, for anybody that needs it:

-making fun of someone for using a fidget spinner, to the point of them displaying obvious embarrassment and shame, is disgusting.

-when you say things like “Oh my GOD, I hate those spinners! They’re so annoying, what are they even for haha” you are being willfully ignorant. Spinners are marketed towards people with anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADD/ADHD, Autistic people, and many other people with brains different from yours that need an outlet to focus, relax, relieve sensory-related issues, and many other things that yours does automatically. Most of the ones I see advertised even specify “For anxiety/stress/ADHD/Autism/etc”

-Making fun of someone for other behaviors such as rocking, hand flapping, echolalia, hair twirling, skin picking, hair pulling, etc is in fact, also a shitty thing of you to do. It’s also unnecessary, cruel, and humiliates the person who is doing those things.

-Don’t make fun of people who use fidget spinners. Don’t make fun of people who stim. I don’t give a rat’s ass if you think it’s unnecessary, or it “looks weird” or it “looks gross.” Don’t do it. You KNOW what you’re doing. I know what you’re doing. I’ve had it, I’m done.

“Steven is a more groundbreaking main character than Connie would be!! He’s a nice and sensitive boy!!!1″

obnoxiously cute comment, Jhenniffer-Luanne, but “nice and sensitive boy”?

not as new a concept as an anxious Indian girl going on sci-fi adventures with gem aliens and getting stronger in the process.

#7YearsWithGirlsDay

Wow! I’m so happy these four wonderful ladies have made it this far. They’ve worked so damn hard to be where they are today, and I’m overjoyed to see them standing tall and getting the recognition they deserve. The beginning was rough, but they didn’t let that, or the fact they come from small company, stop them from getting somewhere. Their bond and their friendship is something you could never fault, and it’s incredibly heart warming to see them supporting one another, even outside of group activities. Seven years have flown by, and I seriously hope we get to see them for another seven, and even more. I’m always thankful these four beautiful women came into my life, making me smile, laugh, cry, and even scream with excitement every time they comeback, and just generally be themselves. I’m extremely proud to be a Dai5y. Thank you, and congratulations ladies. ♡
