We’re in the taper phase of training for Rock N Roll Nashville so after a short 4.5 mile run at Elm Creek we christened the Domanes with a 25 mile ride on the Dakota Trail. The St. Boni Bistro was our destination and after a quick lunch we rode back home.
Riding on a road bike is a lot different from a tri bike. Of course the geometry is different and it’s slower, but the benefit is that you’re sitting up and get to enjoy the views rather than just looking at pavement.
We didn’t really need anything to drink, but stopping at a kids lemonade stand isn’t optional.
