Summary: Things seem to go south once again for the Winchester brothers. You’re left to pick up Dean’s pieces but not before giving
to the person accountable a piece of your mind.
Characters: Dean Winchester x reader, Sam Winchester, Mary Winchester
Word count: 1514
Warnings: Season 12 spoilers (If you haven’t watched 12.14, “The Raid” then you should probably do so first), angst.
Author’s Notes: I was supposed to be working on something else, but yesterday’s episodes gave me a lot of feels (as always but that’s another story). This is set right after the fight between Dean and Mary at the beginning of the episode. There is a flashback included in italics.
Hope you like it! <3
You walked into the library, muttering expletives under your breath, only to find Sam
Winchester waiting for you, beer in hand.
Giving him a
half-distracted smile, you mumbled a greeting while he just looked at you,
shaking his head.
“Do I even want to
Sam titled his
head to the left and shot you a perplexed look, his eyes appraising you.
“Let’s just say
that your mum probably isn’t fond of me right now.”
Sam sighed and
brought the green bottle to his lips, drinking.
“You’re right. I
don’t want to know.” He told you when he was done and you nodded and leaned
against the table.
“Is Dean still in
Go.” He agreed, nodding. When you were ready to leave, he grabbed your hand in
his huge one and squeezed it. “And thank you. For standing up for us…”
Harry: You two being totally stubborn usually means that no one of you is going to apologize first after an argument. You two just ignore each other after a huge fight, don’t even dare to look at each other. Most of the time Harry is the one who makes the first step to talk to you again when you had a fight, because he seriously hates it when he isn’t able to hold you in his arms. But you being really stubborn just ignore his words and his attempts to touch you, giving him the silent treatment. After watching TV in the late evening, surrounded by a silence that you know is killing him, you get up and head upstairs to your bedroom. Harry knows that on days like these he’s going to sleep in the guest room since you need your distance for the night. He sighs as he sees you closing the bedroom door without giving him a good night kiss, or even just a “Good night”. In the middle of the, of course sleepless, night you hear the door being opened, a shadow making it’s way up to your bedside as you just hear Harry’s breath behind you. “I’m sorry. I really am, Kitten.” No answer from you. He sighs again, reaching his hand to stroke your head. “Please let me hear your voice.” He says softly. Still no reply. “Fine.” He says as he pushes the duvet away a bit so he can lay next to you without your permission. He wraps his arm around your waist, cuddling up next to you. You have to admit that you were longing for his touch, too. You take a deep breath, turning your head to face him as he locks eye contact with you. “I missed you.” He goes and you nod, deciding to end the silent treatment. “I hate us fighting like this. I truly hate it..” You whisper and feel your eyes starting to fill with tears. “Me too. Sssh, don’t cry, Kitten. I got you.” He cooes, trailing soft kisses along your cheek, jaw and then your neck. “Let me show you how much I love you? I love you so much, Y/N.”
Niall: Silent treatments happen usually after stupid ‘fights’ in your relationship with Niall. Niall was watching a Derby game on the TV, and knowing how much Niall loves Derby and is so into the game, he totally ignores you. You would ask him something or tell how your day was, and he would just reply with a “Mhm.” or just in short sentences. It annoys you and you decide to give him a payback. After the game he comes up behind you in the kitchen as you make dinner, wrapping his arms around your waist. “Mhm, smells amazing, Honey.” He goes, resting his jaw on your shoulder. But you yank his arms away, escaping his grip in annoyance. “What’s wrong?” Niall asks, unaware of how you felt when he ignored you. You don’t answer him though. This is not the first time that you gave him a silent treatment, it almost always happens after a Derby game so he knows exactly what he did wrong. “Look, I’m sorry, Y/N.” He says softly, trying to get your attention. “But… this game was so important. I’m really just so into the games that I forget my surroundings. I’m really sorry. And to my defense… they won, babe!” He tries to light up the mood and you try not to laugh. But you fail miserably as you chuckle. You just can’t stay mad at Niall, even if you try. Niall smiles at you, reaching to wrap his arms around your waist again which you accept gladly. “Forgive me?” He goes as you wrap your arms around his neck, answering him with a kiss full of passion.
