British Strawberries.

Strawberries were cultivated by the Romans as early as 200 BC.
In medieval times they were regarded as an aphrodisiac and a soup made of strawberries, borage and soured cream was traditionally served to newly-weds at their wedding breakfast.

In the 16th Century strawberries were sold in cone-shaped straw baskets thus becoming one of the earliest packaged foods.

Strawberries are in plentiful supply throughout May- the peak of the season is June and July. If good weather continues from July you can expect to see British strawberries until the end of September.

The most popular British strawberry is still Elsanta, it has a long season and an excellent taste. Other varieties include English Rose, known for its orange zest flavour and Jubilee, a good all rounder.

Look out for Sweet Eve and Eve’s Delight both of which are high in natural sugar with a pleasant perfumed aroma and longer shelf life, great for those of us looking for value for money. Other varieties include, Driscoll’s Jubilee, Ava and Red Glory.

Robert, Matt, Amanda :)

Robert Small: What’s your favorite cryptid?
- I don’t know alot of cryptids but I think Nessie would be my favourite.
Mothman seems cool too though.

Matt Sela: What do you usually order when you go to a cafe?
- Last time I was in one, I just ordered Srawberry Ice Cream. I’m not often in Cafe’s but I guess I’m usually fine with a hot chocolate. Not a big fan of coffee.

Amanda: Who’s your favorite Dream Daddy?
- Oh boy. So like, at first and before the game got released, I liked Brian the most with Hugo as my second favorite. But I didn’t like Brian’s route too much cause like, I felt like the player Dad was a bit too much with the whole “being a better Dad then Brian thing” and it just felt a bit meh. The ending also felt a bit weird. Kinda the whole pacing was a little bit off. I still liked it and it had really fun minigames. But then I played Hugo’s route. And oh my god I love him so much.
The pacing and like, character development was so much better and Hugo is such a sweet and adorable nerd. I did not see the whole Wrestling thing coming but it was such an awesome thing and I’m sad that Hugo is so underrated cause he’s just amazing. And the ending photo just completely wrecked me.
