Like many mammals, sheep have highly reflective eyes due to a unique tapetum lucidum, making their eyes glow white when the darkness is broken with light. This shepherd got quite a shock when he decided to snap a photograph of his flock.
this past summer i was out in the woods one evening when i saw a bunch of deer. i tried to take pictures, but it was really dark. so then i turned my flash on, but all my phone captured was a bunch of eerie glowing eyes. spooky shit, got me inspired
light doesn’t hurt ghosts… but living or not, having it shone right in your face is somewhat uncomfortable. that and their eyes reflect it right back giving them this rather ghastly blank-eyed look. hey, it’s good for scaring off obnoxious ghost-hunting television stars. be careful while playing with your ghost friend! even if they’re a friendly ghost SPOOKY THINGS may still happen unexpectedly!
