ACOTAR Series Spinoff + Novellas Ideas

Maas left the series wide open for us to ponder one important question: “What’s next?!?”

These are personally my hopes for what we get in the future! BECAUSE I NEED TO KNOW SO MANY THINGS!

Nesta and Cassian Storyline

The way ACOWAR left Nesta and Cassian was…hanging. Nesta didn’t visit Cassian while he was healing after the final battle and he didn’t acknowledge her once when they returned back to Velaris. So this needs to be approached in some way so for their story I imagine:

  • Nesta will be involved with finding the Queens and making sure they do not intervene with the peace talks between fae and humans. And since Nesta is the Night Court’s emissary for humans this would make sense.
  • Does Nesta still have powers tied with the Cauldron? That was left unclear. AND we need to explore those witch abilities!
  • Cassian growing a pair and coming to terms with his feelings for Nesta. It seemed like he was afraid to admit his feelings for Nesta as she started to soften toward him. So he will join her on the journey AND A MATING BOND WILL BE ACCEPTED AND WE GET THEIR POVs DURING IT!!!

Vassa and Lucien Storyline

This could be before or after the Nessian story. Since Vassa is also invested in revenge against the Queens she might participate in helping Nesta and Cassian or she will focus on breaking her curse first. Which leads to Lucien’s role. Note: I am not saying I ship these two, but Lucien will be vital in this story.

  • Lucien needs to know his true heritage. I refuse to accept that he will remain believing that Beron is his father.
  • And since Helion is the “Spell-Cleaver” I bet he will be part of this story in the aspect of offering advice on breaking Vassa’s (Not quite sure if Lucien will have Helion’s abilities, but since Lucien broke free of Hybern’s magic in ACOMAF…perhaps that is a hint toward that hidden power!)
  • If romance does happen between Vassa and Lucien be prepared for some Swan Lake! @propshophannah goes into this more!

Elain and Azriel Storyline

What in the newly made Cauldron is going on with Elain and her abilities?!?! How did Truth-Teller transport her to the battlefield? And will Azriel be the one to help her with her powers?

  • We need to know if Elain is capable of being a shadowsinger. In general I just want to understand the concept of shadowsingers. I feel as though this was still a bit glossed over in the series.
  • Mor needs to tell Azriel that she is not attracted to him so he can finally stop having hope that she will ever love him the same way he does.
  • I will be disappointed though if Azriel then jumps to loving Elain. This is one reason why I am not on-board with shipping Elriel. I want it to be clear that if they do become romantically involved it is because he loves Elain. Not because she is suddenly some good pairing, because Mor is no longer interested in Azriel.
  • A firm conclusion on where Elain and Lucien stand with their mating bond

Novella #1 Miryam, Drakon and Their People

  • I just want to see their beginnings from their POVs. The first time they met. Miryam going to war with Jurian. Drakon fighting on their side. And eventually their love slowly becoming a reality.
  • Also I would not mind reading about Nephelle’s story! How this cartographer with little wings saved Miryam against all odds. AND she is a lover to one of Drakon’s generals who is also female. (Then they get married when Nephelle safely returns! So adorable!)

Novella #2 High Lords

  • I will gladly accept any stories with Helion. Please.
  • Can we have just go more in-depth with Kallias and Viviane! Goodness they were so sweet and I just love how Viviane called Kallias out for wanting to be a High Lady like Feyre! (And in general I just adore these two!)
  • Tarquin. Enough said.

hey I had a funny idea um it’d be great if when (or if) they make the reaper spinoff series it starts off like every season of black butler except Sebastian is replaced with Will and the servants are replaced with all of his subordinates. Like Grell, Ronald, Eric, Alan, and Othello (maybe) each make their horrendous mistakes that will surely cause a lot of overtime, but William comes in and fixes everything before it can get too bad.

You know, after reading a TV Tropes page about Samurai Jack in the Heartwarming section, it mention something interesting about Scaramouche possible future after the finale.

It goes something like this:

If Scaramouche fans wish it so, he doesn’t die a villain in the new future, and instead comes back as an anti-hero in the same league as, say, Deadpool.

Since you have to admit, IT WOULD BE AWESOME!!! And it could be a good opportunity to see what sort of new future Jack had created. Does the future characters still exist. If so, how would they be? What kind of character development Mouche would get?

He would play the opposite of Jack. Jack is heroic and stoic while Scaramouche is playful and villainous. Of course in this series he would be an anti-hero type of deal? The Deadpool to Jack Wolverine!

Hey, panda bears! Up yours! UP YOURS!

What if… Instead of a Ghostbusters sequel, we get a Jillian Holtzmann spinoff instead where we get to know more about her backstory and her routine off-screen most of the time. It’ll show what she does in life (maybe how often she teaches the needy or how often she goes to gay clubs). Also, flashbacks of her past (of her assumed horrible childhood) then maybe how she reflects on it. Finally, it’ll show where she gets a legitimate girlfriend and a practically Ghostbusters sequel then. I guess we need a Holtzmann spinoff rather than a sequel.

a Ben 10 spinoff about Ken 10 and Devlin making a team to protect the world, both teenages. Devlin get training by The Plumbers and have habilities like Rook… Ben and Gwen are busy protecting all the universe, so Ben and Devlin take care of the earth… it could be awesome! because i love that alternate time line…

Remote Controlled: ‘Game of Thrones’ Star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Shares Theories on His Character’s Possible Death
Welcome to “Remote Controlled,” a podcast from Variety featuring the best and brightest in television, both in front of and behind the camera. In today’s episode, Variety’s …
By Debra Birnbaum

But he has an idea for spinoff, should Jaime survive: “The Braime Bunch.” “You’ve got to give the fans what they want, right?” he teases. “So, it’s gotta be a Braime sitcom. They finally get together. Seven kids. They just can’t stop themselves once they get into it.”

He even mentions a shipp name. Such a fanboy..

ACOWAR Thoughts (No Spoilers)

I just want to put another nugget of positivity out there amidst all the negative posts I see cropping up.

I absolutely ADORED this book for a multitude of reasons but mostly because I simply love these characters and I got to spend 700 brand new pages laughing and crying with them and my heart is happy.

I think one of the best and worst things about loving a series so much is that everyone has their own versions of the characters in their head. Everyone’s Feyre is a little different, everyone’s happily ever after looks a bit different, and going into ACOWAR everyone had different expectations and different things that they wanted to see in the conclusion of the story. Unfortunately, I think that screws with the reception of the book.

I know I’m guilty of it myself because when I initially finished the book I felt a bit unfulfilled. Not because the book wasn’t wonderful but because some of the things I’d imagined hadn’t come true, the things I’d been hoping for for the past year weren’t there. But then I took a step back and dismissed my personal wants for the series, and when I wasn’t comparing SJM’s ACOWAR to the ACOWAR I’d loosely written in my own head since the end of ACOMAF, I no longer felt that void of dissatisfaction.

Did everything I’d imagined and wanted to happen, happen? No, of course not. But I loved it anyway. Were there things that I would have written differently? Yes, of course there were. But I loved it anyway. Were there things I just plain didn’t like or agree with? Yes. And despite those ‘flaws’ I loved it anyway.

I guess my point is that you can love ACOWAR for what it is even if it didn’t go the way that you would have written it.

And if you can’t let those ideas that you had go write them out, write the fanfiction, write your own spinoff, or adapt your ideas into your own original series. But please don’t come on here and shit all over those of us that loved it just because something you wanted to go a certain way didn’t.

2017, Season 4, and Series Ends

Hey Friends,

Does everyone have a minute? I wanted to share a couple of things about the future of Wolf 359 and what we’re going to be doing this year. And, as is so often the case with these sorts of things, it comes in the form of Good News and Bad News.

First, the Farnsworth bit: good news, everyone! Wolf 359 will be back this year, and we will be doing a full season. Hooray! Season Four will begin on June 12th, and it’ll be fifteen…ish full episodes. I know that’s a longer gap between seasons than we’ve had before, but we want to spend a bit longer on the writing and the production of these upcoming episodes. And - more good news! - that also means we won’t be taking a mid-season hiatus this year. Once new episodes begin, we’ll run, uninterrupted, every two weeks until the final episode on December 25th.

Which leads us to the bad news, and that is that… well, there’s no easy way to say it, so let’s just get it out: Wolf 359 is coming to its end. This upcoming season’s final episode will also be our series finale.

i'msorry explain the ghoul grumps au to me???

A nice summary for all of my new followers since Ill never get around to finishing that masterpost lmao Before I even start, this au ships REAL PEOPLE ™; Shipgrumps, polygrumps, whatever the heckie u wanna call it. so like, a big warning for people who Do Not appreciate that

Ghoul Grumps (au!) is an idea i came up w for the original Ghoul Grumps halloween special. This was before they came up with additional designs for the rest of the crew. Ive been tempted to rename the au so it can stay out of the ghoul grumps tag but im not too sure what to change it too :/

Its the grumps as different hybrid creatures based off of common mythological designs; Arin and Barry as werebeasts, Dan as a Siren, Suzy is a Naga, Holly is a Harpy, and Ross and Brian are Angels. Theres more ppl but the general idea is that have humanoid forms and then a more Extreme monster version of themselves. Arin transforming into a massive bipedal Tiger, Suzy transforming into a snake, Ross transforming into a literal angel. Its just something nice to explore and very fun to draw overall (for me at least lmao)

Its parallel to real life; star//bomb exists, gg exists, its just different monster designs included. Its like your typical Monster au i guess lol

People used to send ALOT of headcanons to me and that the only reason this au grew so big tbh. Theres alot of ideas and spinoffs people added in (a reincarnation au thing for ppl like Ross and Brian, a species swap with all the ppl). Its not to be taken seriously and its just a way to explore lots of nice plots and ideas yanno? I still think about this au on a damn near daily basis, its been a very positive influence for me :> I would like to take the time to go through all of my content from back when I first started bc thats when I was the most active and when I put alot of love into this au.  <3
