Tea is ancient for a reason. Not only is it a calming, soothing, drink, but being intentional about its ingredients can do wonderful things.
The following list of ingredients will help you make intentional choices. Remember, there’s no shame in the store-bought game! As always, consult with a doctor before treating yourself, and be wary of unknown allergies.

Tea to Soothe Depression
Combine ingredients of healing and protection (and seek help).
Chamomile and Honey (healing) with Blackberry Tea
- Combine 2 tsp chamomile, 2 tsp of honey, and 2 blackberries in a mortar and pestle. Mash to combine. Spoon the mixture into a tea ball/bag. Boil water and pour into a mug. Steep tea mixture until potent.
Tea for a Job Interview
Combine ingredients for luck and protection.
Orange Cinnamon Ginger Tea
- Mix 2 tsp orange zest and ¼ tsp minced ginger. Mash with a mortar and pestle. Transfer ingredients into a tea ball/bag. Boil water and pour into a mug. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Steep until potent. Sip while reviewing your resume, practicing interview questions, or researching the company to nail the interview.
